Anders was equally anxious and rushed downstairs!

Both Gale and Anders drove to the apartment. When they arrived, they could hardly believe their eyes.

The apartment was engulfed in flames, with the firefighters setting up a perimeter around it.

Soon, two people came out carrying a stretcher.

The stretcher was covered with a protruding white sheet!

It was a body!

Gale’s face turned deathly pale as he rushed over and started crying uncontrollably.

“Sally, Sally!” Gale was devastated.

Anders also ran over.

He felt like dying.

How could this happen…

Sally was dead?

Gale sneered: “Legal husband? Ha… Then what does your engagement to my sister today mean? What, you want to marry two wives at once? Anders, after all these years as brothers, I now see how hypocritical you are.”

Anders tried to defend himself, but Gale continued to mock him mercilessly: “When have you ever treated Sally as your wife? Anders, you are nothing but a hypocrite… I ask you, if you want Sally’s body, do you dare admit to the family that Sally was your wife?”

Anders fell silent.

Gale laughed sarcastically, and soon he had people take Sally’s body away.

Anders and Mary’s engagement ceremony was forced to stop.
