The Return Of The Amazing Single Mom By Wendy Titus

Chapter 83

Chapter 83

“Is it really like that?”

Chapter 83

Milo blinked his big eyes, looking at Christine..

Christine’s eyebrows twitched. What kind of expression was that? She planned to deal with him when they got home. Christine struggled to control her anger and smiled brightly, saying, “Kids, let’s go. Say goodbye to Lindsay and Mr. Reeves.”

As soon as Christine mentioned “Mr. Reeves,” Randall felt uncomfortable again.

Realizing that she couldn’t keep her mommy, Lindsay quickly sought help from her dad.

Lindsay held her dad’s hand and shook it, trying to persuade him to keep Mommy.

Randall never refused his daughter’s requests.

“I understand.”

Randall gently comforted Lindsay, and Lindsay finally relaxed a little.

Randall looked at Christine with intense eyes and said, “You already agreed to stay and accompany Lindsay. If you leave now, Lindsay will be very disappointed.”

Christine was speechless. When did she agree to stay? Randall was trying to put her in a difficult position and morally manipulate her.

Moreover, Randall spoke in front of the children, making it hard for her to explain the situation without hurting Lindsay’s feelings.

What should she do now?

Christine whispered to Oliver, “How can I refuse in a gentle way that won’t hurt Lindsay?”

At that moment, Oliver looked at Lindsay and asked, “Little Tail, do you want us to stay and accompany you?”

Lindsay vigorously nodded and looked at Oliver expectantly. Oliver looked at Christine and said, “Mommy, let’s stay.”

Christine couldn’t believe it. Oliver, who was usually cold and distant, had agreed to stay.

And she had just asked how to refuse in a gentle way that wouldn’t hurt Lindsay’s feelings.

Why did he agree so directly?

Oliver approached Christine and whispered, “Mommy, we can only agree to avoid hurting her feelings.”

Christine realized that the question she had asked earlier was flawed.

No matter how she refused, it would still hurt Lindsay’s feelings.

Milo obediently said to Christine, “Mommy, Oliver is right. Let’s stay, and you can take care of Little Tail tonight. Kids with a fever tend to have relapses, so Mommy, you can take on a little extra effort and stay to look after Little Tail.”/

Christine also intended to stay, but she was worried about her two sons.

“If we sleep here, will you two sleep well in an unfamiliar environment?” she asked.

Milo said in a sweet voice, “It’s okay, Mommy. With Oliver by my side and me by his side, we won’t be lonely, and we’ll sleep

well.”

At that moment, Randall said, “If you’re worried, I’ll sleep with them.”

Upon hearing that, Milo was shocked. Their scumbag dad actually wanted to sleep with them.

Christine looked at Randall. He didn’t seem like someone who liked children except Lindsay. Why would he voluntarily offer to sleep with her two sons?

“Mr. Reeves, it’s not necessary. When my kids sleep, it’s like a martial arts exchange. If you sleep with them, I guarantee they’ll wake up with bruises and swelling tomorrow.”

Lindsay burst into laughter upon hearing this, finding her two big brothers quite amusing.

And Milo, who was initially very resistant, immediately changed from resistance to extreme enthusiasm after hearing Christine’s words.

He curled up and pitifully said, “Mr. Reeves, you’re right. We’re scared. Stay with us while we sleep.”

His acting skills seemed a bit… malicious.

Randall narrowed his eyebrows as he looked at Milo, but Milo smiled innocently, looking harmless and pure.

Oliver and Milo communicated through telepathy. Milo asked, “Oliver, will you kick to the left or right side tonight?”

Chapter 83

Tll kick… downwards,” Oliver replied.

“What? You’re going to kick scumbag dad down there? You’re so cruel.”

When they were engaged in telepathic communication, Milo widened his starry eyes while Oliver remained calm.

Oliver asked. “Do you have the ‘infertility powder‘ with you?”

Milo immediately deflated upon hearing that.

He replied, “I forgot to bring it. What a pity. If I knew we were coming to the Reeves family’s place, I would have brought it with me.”

“It’s okay. My kick is just as powerful.” Oliver said.

At that moment, they suddenly noticed Lindsay’s expression was a bit off

Lindsay was contemplating whether she should sacrifice her daddy so she could sleep with her mommy.

Would her daddy be pitiful? Would her big brothers go easy on him?

Oliver and Milo only realized later that Lindsay had joined their “group chat.”

They looked at Lindsay and said, “Don’t worry, we won’t go too far.”

It was a sudden and disconnected statement.

Both Christine and Randall found it a bit strange when they heard that.

Lindsay happily nodded. Her big brothers wouldn’t harm her daddy, so she could sleep peacefully with her mommy. She felt so happy.

For some reason, Randall suddenly felt like he had been betrayed by his own daughter.

He realized that his position in her heart had dropped by three ranks.

The speed of his descent was like a landslide. His state of mind was starting to crumble.

Well, as long as his daughter was happy.

“Let’s go eat.”

In the dining room, the servants served the dishes to Randall, Christine, Oliver, and Milo.

On the other hand, Lindsay was in her room. She was being taken care of by a nanny and had a light pasta.

As the dishes were being served, a servant introduced, “Sir, tonight’s dinner prepared for you and your esteemed guest includes foie gras, crab meat baked with cheese and avocado, steak, pasta with basil meat sauce, mushroom soup, and tiramisu. Please enjoy.”

“That’s enough. You may all leave.”

Randall intentionally dismissed the servants to make it easier for Christine to eat.

Each person’s dinner at the table was the same.

The only difference was the basil meat sauce pasta in front of Randall, which didn’t have the cherry tomatoes that were garnishing the others‘ plates.

At that moment, Milo asked Randall in confusion, “Mr. Reeves, why doesn’t your pasta have tomatoes?”

“Because I don’t eat tomatoes,” Randall replied.

Since Randall didn’t eat tomatoes, the chefs always made sure not to include them in his dishes.

“What a coincidence, my brother doesn’t eat them either.”

Hearing Milo’s words, Randall only then noticed that Oliver was frowning at the tomatoes garnishing the pasta as if they were his mortal enemies.

At that moment, Christine picked out the tomatoes from her pasta and handed her plate to Oliver.

“Oliver, I have picked out all the tomatoes. Let’s swap.”

After saying that, Christine exchanged Oliver’s plate of basil meat sauce pasta with her own. Only then did Oliver breathe a sigh of relief

“Thank you, Mommy.”

“It’s alright, let’s eat.”

With a new plate of tomato–free pasta in front of him, Oliver began to eat.

Randall furrowed his brow slightly. It was quite a coincidence that he also didn’t eat tomatoes.

Randall said, “Next time, I’ll make sure the chefs are more attentive and don’t include tomatoes in your dishes.”

“No need. Who knows if there will be a next time.”

Oliver’s tone was calm but carried a natural aloofness.

He wasn’t wrong. Who knew if they would come to the Reeves family for a meal again in the future?

There was no need to specifically instruct the chefs about his dietary preferences.

“Mr. Reeves, there’s no need to mind such things. Let’s eat.”

Christine felt her son’s words were a little straightforward, so she wanted to ease the atmosphere.

Randall nodded slightly.

Milo began to eat heartily. He enjoyed eating everything, just like his mommy.
