Chapter 84
Milo was more like his mommy.
Both he and Christine enjoyed a variety of delicious foods without any dietary restrictions. They were two happy foodies. Randall watched as Milo enjoyed his meal, and he noticed that Milo was like Christine. There was a sense of happiness when they ate, making the food taste even better. On the other hand, Oliver ate his food elegantly and showed no particular preference or enthusiasm. It seemed as if eating was merely a necessity for him and even a waste of time.
With his greasy mouth. Milo noticed that Randall hadn’t touched his cutlery.
He curiously asked, “Mr. Reeves, why aren’t you eating? Hasn’t your sense of taste recovered yet? It shouldn’t be the case. 1 calculated the dosage of the medicine I gave you, and it should have worked by now.”
Randall’s eyes gleamed, and he replied with a hint of approval, “Your prescription was accurate, and my sense of taste has recovered.”
Milo felt relieved upon hearing this and said in a childish voice, “That’s good if it’s recovered, Mr. Reeves. You should eat quickly before it gets cold and loses its taste.
Milo believed that the minimum respect for food was to cat it while it was still hot.
Randall didn’t expect that this little guy would also care about him.
He said, “I mentioned last time that if you could restore my sense of taste, I would agree to one request from you. What do
you want?”
Milo quickly swallowed the food in his mouth in excitement.
He blinked his eyes. Then, he said in a soft and adorable voice, “Can I ask for anything? Mr. Reeves, are you like the genie from Aladdin?”
Aladdin’s genie?
“You can say that. What do you want?”
“Um… I want…” Milo pinched his little finger, indicating that he had a lot of things in mind. Suddenly, he looked at Randall and said. “Mr. Reeves, I haven’t decided yet. Can you wait until I figure it out? Is there a deadline?”
This little rascal was quite shrewd.
Randall replied. “You can let me know whenever you’re ready. I’ll fulfill all your requests.”
Milo was delighted to hear this, and Randall inexplicably felt a sense of accomplishment. Indeed, children were easy to please.
“Milo, you can’t do this,” Christine said, addressing Milo’s behavior.
Milo heard his mommy’s words and quickly explained to her.
“Mommy, this is something Mr. Reeves wants to give me on his own, not something I asked him for.”
Milo played with his little finger and pleaded, “Can I have it just once?”
His mommy had told him before that doctors should never ask for gifts or favors from their patients. “Rewarding the child for curing my sense of taste wouldn’t be excessive, would it?”
Randall also joined in, speaking like a father advocating for his child within a family.
Christine looked at Randall and thought to herself that Randall was someone who wasn’t short of money.
“Alright, understood. Consider it a reward from Mr. Reeves. As long as it’s not excessive,” Christine responded.
Milo applauded excitedly, clapping like a seal.
“I’m so happy! Let me think carefully. Oliver, do you have anything you want?”
“No.”
Oliver was unfazed and continued to eat elegantly.
After thinking for a moment, Milo suddenly realized that what his scumbag dad had, his brother had them too.
No wonder his brother showed no interest.
“Okay, I’ll think about it and let you know, Mr. Reeves.”
When Milo spoke, he was especially cute. It was rare for Randall to smile..
After finishing their meal, they went to Lindsay’s room. Lindsay had also finished eating by this time.

“Lindsay, have you finished eating? How’s your appetite?” Christine asked.
The servant attending to Lindsay answered, “Miss Lindsay surprisingly had a good appetite today. She had two plates of pasta
and some salad.”
Because Lindsay had Mommy and her brothers with her today, she was in a particularly good mood and had a good. appetite.
At this moment, Milo approached Lindsay and said, “Little Tail, it’s so pitiful that you can only have lighter food when you’re sick. But it’s okay. When you get better, I’ll make steak for you too. I think my steak is even better than what I had for dinner. Can I make it for you next time?”
Wow, her big brother could even make steak. How impressive!
Lindsay clapped happily and nodded vigorously.
“Lindsay, come to my house one day. I will make you ravioli. I may not be able to make steak, a seafood feast, or mushroom soups like Milo. But everyone likes the ravioli that I make.”
“That’s right. Mommy’s ravioli is so delicious.”
Christine, Milo, and Lindsay started an animated discussion about food while Randall sat back at his desk. There were still unfinished documents from the afternoon.
It was a proposal to acquire overseas distribution rights for mobile games. Their company planned to buy the distribution. rights of a popular foreign mobile game.
Randall was reviewing the materials when suddenly he heard a voice beside him.
“Reeves Group wants to acquire the distribution rights for Beast Summoners“?”
Randall turned around and saw Oliver. Oliver’s eyes were coldly fixed on the computer screen.
A project proposal would probably be boring for a child.
However, this little guy was following behind him and reading along.
“Yes. ‘Beast Summoners‘ has gained great popularity at the latest mobile gaming expo in Honwales, receiving rave reviews. It has a high chance of becoming the Game of the Year. From the initial development to the release of the first in–game footage, it utilized the Unreal Engine excellently, combining smooth special effects and rich gameplay content, capturing the attention of mobile gaming enthusiasts worldwide. We are interested in acquiring the distribution rights in Archiland,” Randall explained.
“The game is good, but it won’t become the Game of the Year. If Reeves Group wants to enter the gaming industry, I suggest you acquire the distribution rights for The Last Ark,” Oliver calmly responded.
Randall furrowed his brow. “Are you referring to The Last Ark,’ developed by SilverMoon Interactive in Honwales”
With mobile games currently dominating the market, online games were clearly in a weaker position. In particular, MMORPGs had declined in recent years.
Oliver nodded slightly. “Yes, I’m referring to “The Last Ark,’ developed by SilverMoon Interactive in Honwales.”
“But under the influence of market–driven factors, such as pay–to–win mechanics, the proliferation of game studios, and the prevalence of cheating, the once–dominant position of MMORPGS has faded. Due to licensing issues, the number of MMORPGs released in recent years has been scarce domestically. This has caused countless players to lose confidence, leaving only not many veteran players. Buying the distribution rights for an MMORPG game now wouldn’t be the best choice for a businessman, Randall said.
“Indeed, the mobile game market has a larger market share than online games. In the fast–paced environment, very few good MMORPG games offer innovative gameplay, regardless they are client–server games, browser games, or mobile games. Take ‘Beast Summoners,‘ for example. It lacks gameplay depth, but its marketing is well done. They are willing to invest in promotion, and currently, there are quite many online players. It’s a hot trend at the moment, but I estimate it will cool down within two months. Trying to compete for the distribution rights with other companies in Archiland would simply be falling into their trap,” Oliver explained confidently.
Randall couldn’t help but become interested. This child was so young yet had a clear and confident analysis.
“So, do you think “The Last Ark‘ has the value to acquire its distribution rights?”
