“Diego!” Helene was confident it was Diego since he had retreated upon seeing her. She noticed the elevator had stopped on the first floor and rushed down the stairs. 

However, when she reached the first floor, Diego was 

nowhere to be found. 

At that moment, the hospital called again, informing her that her grandmother’s surgery was indefinitely postponed until she paid the full surgery fee. 

Helene hurried back to the hospital. 

When she left Bamford Group’s building, Carlisle picked up the phone and called the receptionist on the first floor. Upon learning that Helene had come looking for Diego, he felt relieved and informed the receptionist that she had been fired.
