Theo’s P.O.V. 

“Don’t let her go back to the dungeons, Theo. You stopped her today, but there is nothing that can assure us about the future.” William said in a stern tone, and I scoffed. 

“Do you think that your sister is an obedient one?” I asked him in a mocking tone and he glared hard at me. 

“Don’t give me this look, William. We both know that she is the stubborn one. If either of us ask her to stay away from the dungeons, she will try more to go. there,” I said further, and he slumped his shoulders in defeat. 

I scoffed again while jerking my head lightly and looked in the direction of my room. “It’s already late. You should go back to your mate as I am going to mine,” I said to him, and he sighed. 

“Yeah…take care,” he said in a low tone, and moved towards the stairs. I watched him going down the stairs. I didn’t know what the Moon Goddess had decided for him, but his situation with his mate was the worse one. 

I slowly moved towards my room where Crystal was now sleeping after I brought her back from dungeons. William was right. According to what Nelson’s doctors told us after analyzing Crystal and Marcus‘ blood sample that Marcus‘ blood was a kind of sweet poison for Crystal. The bitter truth of her life was that she got the serum of his blood inside her system when she was inside her mother’s womb. 

I slowly opened the door and slowly entered the room. I closed the door while looking at her cautiously. She didn’t stir, making me take a breath of relief. I removed my shirt, and threw it on the couch before going to the bed. The lights were already closed but I could see clearly. 

I gently hopped on bed, and sl*pped myself inside the sheet behind her. She suddenly fl*pped her b*dy towards me, making me stop breathing. She wrapped her hand around my torso while snuggling into my chest. 

I smiled and gently pulled her head up on my shoulder while wrapping my hand around her b*dy. She sighed lightly in her sleep, making me rub her arm gently. “What took you so long?” she asked me in a tired and sleepy tone.

“I was talking with William,” I told her in a low tone while rubbing her arm. It had been more than month that we slept together like this. During the whole. period, she was either sick or we were busy in doing other things. 

“Is he okay?” she asked me again in the same tone. “Yeah.. he is ….. but he is worried about you,” I replied to her in the same tone while closing my eyes. I opened my eyes when I felt her moving her head. 

“What is it?” I asked her in a concerned tone when I saw her trying to open her eyes. “Am I really that bad?” she asked me in a bit sad tone. 

“Of course not… Who said that you are bad, huh?” I immediately replied her in an irritating tone. “I am not a pure wolf, Theo. A…. are you ashamed of me?” she answered me but her question in the end took me off guard. She had tears in her eyes and it seemed as if she were in severe pain.

“In the past one month, I… I can’t tell you how many times I felt that I lost you forever. I don’t know how many sleepless night I had when I saw you so close to your death so many times. I love you so much, my love. I can’t even think a second of my life without you,” I continued pouring my heart out in front of her. 

“I am sorry,” she whispered, making me take a deep breath. “Don’t be… but never… Ever say anything like this,” I replied to her while holding her tightly this time/She also tightened her hold on me. I closed my eyes while taking a deep breath again. 

“Theo,” she called my name once again after I didn’t know how much time. I just hummed in response as I was now sleepy. After a long time, we were having a peaceful night. Well, I couldn’t say this to a few people close to me, but I was at peace right now.

She smiled and pulled herself up while wrapping her hand around my n*eck. “We are almost close to our anniversary. After facing so many difficulties together, I think we are strong enough to have our pup now,” she said while closing the distance between our faces. 

I couldn’t contain the happiness inside my heart, and immediately put my hand on the back of her head and pushed her head towards me in a passionate k*ss. We both gasped aloud and our bodies trembled when the jolt of
