Crystal’s P. O. V. 

“I owe you my life for giving Crystal the love she deserves. I…. I was helpless. and forced to leave her after giving birth. I didn’t even have time to… To, ” Mom Catherine paused as she choked on her voice. 

She came to meet Mom Martha in her room. It had been a week since the 

attack. Now, mom Catherine was able to walk on her own and mom Martha got the discharge two days ago because she didn’t want to stay in the hospital for long. 

“You did everything to save her, my queen. I know the whole truth. You are a living example of a mother’s willingness to keep her children safe,” Mom Martha replied to her in a polite and respectful tone. 

I was lying on the bed, resting my head on Mom Martha’s lap, listening to the conversation between my mothers. It was my favourite thing to do whenever I was with Mom Martha in her room. She was gently massaging my head, just like she always did whenever I put my head on her lap. 

“Please call me Catherine, Martha. We are both her mothers first, and then, we are someone’s mate or a ranker in our packs,” Mom Catherine requested, making me smile. I was the luckiest child in the world, having the love of two mothers. 

“I am sorry, my queen, but I can’t do this. You are still our queen,” Mom Martha replied to her in the same tone that she used earlier. I smiled while looking at Mom Martha and then looked at Mom Catherine who was now looking at us in defeat. 

Sometimes I really wonder how I got Mom Martha’s stubbornness when I am not her biological daughter. Whatever the reason was, I was happy that I had something that I got from her. 

“Don’t persuade her, Mom. She will not change,” I said to Mom Catherine in at teasing tone when she was about to say something again. 

Mom Martha immediately slapped my head gently, making me giggle. “They are right; I have spoiled you so much,” Mom Martha scolded me in a stern tone.

“Do you have another daughter to spoil?” I asked her while pouting with an innocent expression on my face. This was my way to make my mother coax

“I really have spoiled you so much,” she muttered angrily but I knew that she would do nothing to make me sad. I grinned once again while looking at her, and she shrank her nose but smiled in the end. I looked at Mom Catherine and she also had a smile on her face. Her eyes were watery, but I knew that they were happy tears. 

“Please forgive her mischievousness, my queen. She is an apple of my whole family’s eyes, especially her brothers, and she took advantage of this fact completely,” Mom Martha complained to Mom Catherine, but I could feel her love in her voice. 

Mom Catherine laughed this time, making Mom Martha smile widely too. “I am leaving for the Royal Pack tomorrow morning, but I will visit you once you recover and go back to your pack,” Mom Catherine told her, and I looked at her with a confused face. 

“Why? You are still not fully recovered?” I asked Mom Catherine in a confused tone. She nodded immediately. You are right, honey, but your father can’t stay away from their packs for long. Also, now it’s time for Killian’s coronation. Everything is okay now, and now we don’t have any major threats to our lives. So, it will be better if Killian ascends the throne and mates with Stella,” she answered me and I bobbed my head lightly in understanding. 

“What are you planning to do with Marcus?” Mom Martha asked her in a serious tone. The smile that Mom Catherine had on her face was wiped away immediately, and a cold expression covered her face. “Nelson will take care of him. I don’t know what I will do if I ever see that leech again. Nelson is also against letting me go to see him,” Mom Catherine replied to her in a cold tone, but it was not directed to Mom Martha. 

“We should kill him,” Mom Martha muttered angrily. “Not now… Nelson is trying to create something out of Marcus‘ blood to reverse what happened to us. I…. I know that it’s not possible as we have already,” she paused and gulped hard. This topic was still sensitive for her.

“They are not wrong. I also feel the same way,” Luna said at the back of my mind. “Let me talk to them. We can’t change our past and it will be better if we accept it and move on in our lives. I don’t want any threat to the future generation,” I said in a serious tone after some time while thinking about something. 

I just asked Theo to have a pup last night, and now, I realise that there was still a threat not only to us but to them too. There was no way that I would let anyone hurt the next generation. I shouldn’t think like that, but it’s not necessary that they will be as lucky as I was to have a loving family when my mother was forced to leave me in a dense forest. 

“Persuade them, Crystal. They will listen to you. Your fathers love you so much that they won’t do anything that can make you sad,” Mom Catherine said in a serious tone, and I nodded in agreement while thinking about how to 

persuade both my fathers. 

I looked in the direction of the door when I sensed Mom Sylvia and Luna Elena near the door. They knocked on the door lightly and entered the room after that. “Good afternoon, My Queen.” Both of them greeted Mom Catherine in a respectful tone while bending on their waists lightly. 

“Please, don’t embarrass me by bowing like this in front of me all of you. I owe all of you my life,” Mom Catherine asked them in an embarrassed tone. Both Mom Sylvia and Luna Elena straightened their backs. 

“You are still our queen, my queen. This is just a gesture to show our respect to you.” Mom Sylvia said it in a polite and respectful tone. Mom Catherine sighed aloud in defeat this time. “I guess it will take all of you to agree not to treat me like a queen,” she said in a defeated tone, but I smiled. 

“How are you feeling now, Martha?” Luna Elena asked Mom Martha in a concerned tone. “What can happen to me, huh? Do you think I am so easy to kill? Those bastards attacked me when I was carrying you. I couldn’t let anything happen to you and that’s why they succeeded in hurting me or else I would have shown them the furnace of hell,” Mom Martha boosted with a proud smile on her l*ps. 

That I can agree with you, Martha. You have always been a fierce warrior. How can we forget that even a strong alpha hesitated to accept your challenge back then when we were in the academy,” Mom Sylvia said in a teasing tone, having a wide grin on her l*ps. 

“Really? This really happened?” Mom Catherine asked in a surprised tone, raising her brows in surprise. “Yes, My Queen…. Martha and I were recommended by the former king to the alpha’s academy. She was mated to my brother back then. The former king visited our pack to attend a function and see our potential as warriors. He, then, not only recommended us to the alpha’s academy but also took care of our training there,” Mom Sylvia told Mom Catherine in a proudful tone. 

“O yes… yes….. now I remembered…. I remembered that two beta she–wolves were recommended by the king to the alpha’s academy. Although I didn’t. attend the academy, neither did Nelson, but we have all the information about that. So, it… it was you two?” Mom Catherine told us what she recalled from her past memories.

I was also surprised to hear this story. They never told me about that. My respect and love for Mom Martha increased immediately. Luna also snorted in pride. Just like me, she also considered Mom Martha our first mother. Mom Catherine gave birth to us by risking her life, but it was Mom Martha who fed us her milk to save us. 

“Where are you?” I got a mind–link from Theo at the same time. “I am at Mom Martha’s room with all my mothers,” I told him about my whereabouts. “Come to my office in half an hour. William wants to discuss something with us.” Theo informed me. “Okay… I will be there,” I answered him in a calm tone. 

“What happened?” Mom Martha asked me in a concerned tone. No one could guess when I was mind–linking someone due to my special ability but Mom Martha always got to know about that. “Uhhh… nothing happened, Mom. William called for a meeting in half an hour. I guess, I should talk with them about Marcus in this meeting.” I answered her in a calm tone, and she nodded in agreement.
