Chapter Fifty–Two: Date 2.0
Kiara, at the age of Seventeen
Three days before her eighteenth birthday
Kiara POV:
With the scavenger hunt over and the promise of a reward waiting for me, my heart fluttered with excitement. I couldn’t help but feel a bit giddy; after all, Jayden and Kayden had gone out of their way to make it up to me. Although the reason behind this fuss was something I still held in my heart, the bitterness was slowly fading away, replaced by the warm, gooey feelings their actions stirred in me.
“Alright, close your eyes, sweetheart.” Kayden’s commanding voice made me grin, and I obediently closed my eyes.
I still couldn’t get over their pet names. Every time Kayden called me ‘sweetheart,‘ and Jayden called me ‘love‘ fireworks went off around me.
Goddess! I was getting so corny!
I heard the rustling of their clothes and a door being opened, and then Kayden’s warm hand slipped into mine, zaps of electricity that used to last for a second or two now lasting longer. I felt Jayden positioning himself on my other side, his hand covering my other one. The same feeling of electricity going ofl. Not to mention that all their touching now had me rubbing my thighs together to elevate some of my uneasiness. Their mere touch was getting my vagina wet like no
tomorrow.
“Remember, no pecking, love” Jayden teased.
I rolled my eyes behind my closed lids and promised to keep them shut. Their hands were firm yet gentle as they led me somewhere. I heard more doors opening and felt the change in the air as we moved, the atmosphere shifting from warm and cozy to something a bit more humid and then I heard the purr of an engine: a car. I wanted to ask where we were going but I knew they wouldn’t budge. So letting them help me into the car I sat and waited. The anticipation killing me.

After what felt like an eternity of winding roads and the gentle the car’s engine, the vehicle finally came to a halt. The silence was thick with anticipation and my heart pounded in rhythm with the quiet ticking of the car’s cooling engine. Their firm grips on my hands tightened as they helped me out of the car, their steps synchronous and sure. The air around us was different. It was fresh, filled with the scent of blooming wildflowers and fresh pine, instantly making me feel a sense of tranquillity.
“Okay, love. Open your eyes,” Jayden whispered, his voice soft and
My breath hitched as I took in the surroundings. The sheer beauty of it was stunning. But more than that, it was the efforts that Kayden and Jayden had put into creating this setting. The attention to detail, the careful selection of my favourite things, everything reflected their
of me, their affection towards me.
“Kay… Jay…” I began, but words escaped me.
The sight was overwhelming, leaving me stunned and speechless. All I could do was turn towards them, my eyes moist with unshed tears. Their faces reflected my awe, their smiles wide and bright, and their eyes twinkled with anticipation.
In the soft glow of the setting sun, amidst the peaceful serenity of the meadow, with the melodic symphony of nature as our soundtrack, we stood. Three hearts, three souls bound by a profound love that transcended and that I could only pray would last forever. And at that moment, with their hands in mine, the rest of the world ceased to exist. It was just us.
“Come, sweetheart,” Kayden murmured, breaking the silence that had settled amongst us.
His strong hand gave a gentle tug, leading me toward the soft blanket spread over the grass. Jayden, never leaving my other side, walked with us, his fingers interlaced with mine in a comforting grip.
The twins helped me sit on the blanket, their movements synchronized and seamless. I settled down cross–legged, the soft fabric of the blanket warm beneath me. The wild grass tickled my bare ankles, the dew-
kissed blades bringing a tickling sensation.
The sun was now merely a hue of orange and pink on the horizon, and the first stars of the evening started twinkling in the sky. The lanterns around us cast a warm, welcoming light, causing the shadows to dance around playfully. It felt as if we had been transported to a different realm, far away from the trials of reality.
Jayden opened the basket revealing a spread of my favourite foods. The aroma instantly made my mouth water, and I couldn’t help but glance at them in surprise. How they managed to bring all of my favourites in such a short time was beyond me. There was a flask of hot chocolate, the rich smell wafting out as Jayden unscrewed the cap. There were sandwiches, made just how I liked them, with extra cheese and a hint of spice.
