Chapter 165

Chapter 165.

“Your favourite,” Jayden said with a wink, as he handed me a sandwich, his hand lingering over mine.

How they knew so much despite hardly ever being around me, beat me. But the saying was definitely ‘there’s more to the eyes then they meet.‘ And Kayden and Jayden were just that.

In the midst of the beautiful setup, amidst the stars and under the flickering lanterns, we began our second date. We talked, we laughed, and we shared. We reminisced about the past, shared our hopes for the future, and celebrated the beauty of the present.

Kayden switched the track on the gramophone, and the melodic tunes. of an old classic filled the air. He stood, extending his hand towards me with a roguish smile.

“May I have this dance, sweetheart?” he asked, his eyes twinkling with

amusement.

Laughing, I placed my hand in his. He pulled me to my feet, and we began to sway slowly to the rhythm of the music. Jayden watched us, a warm smile playing on his lips. His gaze held a softness that made my heart flutter.

When the song changed, Jayden cut in, stealing me from Kayden for at dance. We laughed and twirled around the makeshift dance floor, our

The night was perfect, a bubble of happiness and love that we floated in. The peaceful meadow, the star–studded sky, the melodious songs, the delicious food, the enchanting dances, and their endearing company everything made the night unforgettable.

As the night deepened, they walked me to the hammock strung up beneath the large pine tree. I curled up there, their strong arms. wrapped protectively around me as we gazed at the sky littered with twinkling stars. The electricity from their touch makes it all the more wonderful.

For the first time in many days, I felt a sense of peace wash over me. The anger, the confusion, the fear – everything seemed to fade away under the magic of their attention and devotion. As I closed my eyes, my heart filled with the sweet memories of the day, and I realized something they were right.

They had always been right.

Love was not just about perfection. It was about imperfection, about acceptance, about forgiveness. It was about finding a home in someone else. And as I drifted off to sleep in their arms, their warmth seeping into me, I knew I had found my home.

In them.

And I couldn’t wait to see what the future held for us. Hopefully

The stillness of the night brought with it a sense of tranquillity that wrapped around us like a warm blanket. With me nestled in between Kayden and Jayden on the hammock, my head resting against Jayden’s chest and my legs entangled with Kayden’s, I couldn’t help but close. my eyes, letting the peaceful atmosphere lull me into a relaxed state.

“I’m glad you enjoyed tonight, sweetheart,” Kayden murmured softly, his fingers gently tracing patterns on my arm.

His touch was light, but it still sent shivers down my spine, a testament to the connection that bound us together. Jayden’s arm tightened around my waist, pulling me closer into his warmth.

“We wanted to make it special, love,” he admitted quietly, his breath fanning over my hair.

I looked up at him, meeting his gaze. His eyes were full of sincerity, his words echoing in the silence of the night. It warmed my heart to see the lengths they were willing to go for me.

There was a contented silence that stretched between us, a comfortable quietude that allowed us to enjoy each other’s presence under the starlit sky simply. The night’s chill was kept at bay by their warmth, their heartbeats a soothing rhythm in the otherwise silent meadow. The soft rustling of the leaves in the gentle breeze and the distant hoot of an owl were the only sounds that accompanied us.

“Look, sweetheart,” Kayden pointed upwards, and my gaze followed his finger to the sky above.

The night sky was a canvas of deep black, dotted with countless

twinkling stars. The moon, almost full, cast a silver glow that bathed. the entire meadow in a soft light.

“That’s Orion,” Jayden whispered in my car, pointing towards a distinct group of stars.

I followed his finger to see the hunter etched against the sky, a celestial artwork that left me awestruck. As we lay there, stargazing, they started pointing out various constellations – the Big Dipper, Cassiopeia, Cygnus. They shared stories of ancient myths associated with these constellations, their voices creating a magical symphony under the twinkling canopy.

Gradually, the conversation dwindled, replaced by the simple sounds. of the night the hoot of an owl, the rustle of the leaves, the hum of the breeze, and our shared breathing. It was serene, it was beautiful, and it was intimate in a way I had never experienced before. A sense of belonging swept over me. This was where I was meant to be-

sandwiched between the twins under the stars, my heart full of love

and contentment.

The night was indeed unforgettable, a testament to the effort that Kayden and Jayden had poured into it. Their thoughtfulness had left me speechless, my heart bursting with love for them. As I succumbed to the lull of their heartbeat and the gentle swing of the hammock, a smile tugged at my lips. This night was the perfect reminder that despite their flaws and the turmoil we’d been through Jayden and Kayden were indeed in a way my home.

And for the first time in a long time, I drifted to sleep feeling truly at

peace, secure in their love, and hopeful for the journey that awaited us.
