Alexis’ POV~

Upon waking, I watched Blake walk toward our bathroom and realized..he’s bigger! Taller..broader! I started giggling.. then, jumping from the bed, I ran next to him “Am I taller? Did I get to be bigger, too? Check me! Am I more than 5’? I want to be! Let’s measure me!” He laughs at me! Laughs! Telling me he don’t think so!? I get dressed…my clothes fit the same! The exact same! And he had to link Damon to get him new ones! How is that fair!? Even a little?

After breakfast, we walked into the conference room..and the Alphas had already been seated. Alpha Ian too one look at Blake and smirked “Good Goddess, bro! You grew into a ‘Holy Fuck! You’re gargantuan’ overnight!” And the whole table laughed. Then Alpha Raymond asked “Can you explain what’s happening? This is a lot more than packs being decimated and Alphas being taken out.”

I looked around the table, feeling their energy and feeling deceitful because everyone drank coffee laced with truth potion and even Blake didn’t know. Helena thought it would help us know where we are going to be with allies in whatever this fight would be. I made sure each of them saw my eyes…then I spoke “My mother was a powerful witch. Nineteen years ago…she met her true mate. He couldn’t be with her. He was force mated in an arranged relationship. His obligations to our kind outweighed his right to happiness. My mother understood this..and made the conscious decision to mate with him anyway. I am the result of that. If you have noticed the color of my eyes.. you should be aware of the legends. Our Alphas are being targeted and assassinated. Our people systematically wiped out. My mate’s wolf, Athos, is a first wolf. Born again, each generation, in search of his true mate..his only mate. My wolf, Arielle, is a first wolf. She has always been Athos mate…until now…since they were first mated, in the beginning of our species, they had been prevented from being together. Usually, she was found and killed, before she reached maturity. My mother sacrificed her own happiness so we could be together in this generation..for the first time, in centuries. Mother Moon and Hecate, the Goddess of Earth joined together for this to happen. Had it not… wolves would cease to exist. We would die out, because of the stupidity of a group of wolves believing they are superior..and should be the only ones to control the population of our species. Athos and Arielle need help in preventing this…. Now is the time we all have to band together and rise up against eradication!”

Alpha Raymond spoke first “Are we supposed to just take your word for it? Just believe there is someone out there willing to go against the whole of the werewolf nation and commit mass genocide?”

Blake said “Absolutely not. We are prepared for you to not believe us at all. We are asking for your help because we do not want to lose anymore than we already have. I am not a fool! I know who my true allies are. I know who would stand with me at the gates of hell banging for entry, if needed. The three of them sit at this table. But, I also know…the more allies we have.. the stronger…more powerful we become! Damon…play Laura’s confession.”

The end of the video had everyone erupting into anger..Blake held his hands up.. “I am sure Michael is not the only Alpha these rogues have approached. We have proof this has been happening in Canada.. over the last year. After Ian nearly died..several men from the attack had ran away before it happened..and came here. Their Alphas had been murdered. Today is not only a day of decisions.. it is a day of action, gentleman. Michael is in my cells. He will be brought here..you may ask as many questions as you’d like.. in the end, you will decide his fate”

I had been watching Alpha Byron. His eyes kept shifting around the room. He was uncomfortable during Laura’s video. He hasn’t really asked any questions. “Alpha Byron…what’s on your mind? You haven’t asked any questions. You’ve had no input…haven’t contributed to the conversation. Are you not concerned?”

He smirked at me “With all due respect, Luna Alexis, whether I contribute to a conversation or not, is my business. Whether I believe these ludicrous assumptions or not..again is my business!” And I laughed “Did y’all ever notice when someone starts a sentence with ‘all due respect’ it’s because they know they are about to be disrespectful as hell.. it’s like when I end my sentences with ‘bless your heart’ because everyone gets pissed off if I end it with ‘dumbass’! Again, Byron…no offense!”

Blake busted out laughing “Baby…no offense is another one…. Knowing you’re being offensive” and we all laughed again. Alpha Bernard speaks up “I have no problem asking Michael a few questions. Turning on your own kind.. for money! For any reason… But greed!? Let’s get that trash up here!”

My mate says “He is on his way.. What we are going to need to do, is each of us contact our allies… report what is happening..have them contact their allies.. and so on! I would like to keep it low key. Not blare it over a loud speaker, so to speak.”

Matthew brings Michael in… looking a little worse for the wear..and cuffs him to a chair, facing all 13 Alphas. Everyone sat silently a few moments.. just staring at him. And then, Ian spoke “You came to my home.. not because it was your duty as an ally.. but because Blake threatened you. You had already been there, though. Hadn’t you! You came with the men who attacked me. You showed them the easiest way to get to my pack house…the quickest way to murder me! And, yet.. you still had the balls to sit at my table and break bread, after Luna Alexis healed me! You didn’t know that.. did you!? You just thought your buddies fucked up! You are going to die, Michael. Painfully! And I am going to have a hand in it!”

Byron yells “We can’t go around executing Alpha’s. He has a right to a trial… a hearing! Why have you not notified the king? Contacted the monarchy?!” I snapped “Because they fucking Know… you insipid twit! Where do think the money is coming from to fund this farce?! You aren’t that much of an idiot! So you must be in on it. When you leave here…and contact the people who’s asses you’re kissing… You tell them… You make sure they fucking know… The White Wolf is coming!”
