Blake’s POV~

We are waiting. On this stage… the visiting Alphas.. our pack.. Elder Armand… and my inner circle. I can’t remember ever being this anxious. Not even when we held my ascension ceremony!

And then… there she is. Holding on Max’s arm… stands a vision! My mate! My world! My life! Her hair is tied in a high messy bun, with little tendrils framing her angelic face. Her dress…a diaphanous number in lilac!! A high low hem.. tight fitting bodice…Crystal spaghetti straps. And she’s barefoot!? She’s barefoot and has never looked so enchanting!

Slowly, they begin walking towards the stage. I am antsy as hell.. practically bouncing. How did 20 feet become 200 hundred!? And finally,,,her hand is reaching for mine and I practically grab hers! Standing before Elder Armand, he recites the ceremony and she repeats what he says. Then he asks “Sterling Moon.. do you accept Alexis Morris Sterling as your Luna?” And the crowd went wild! Armand sliced her palm, and then mine.. we clasped our palms together and as our blood mingled.. A moonbeam shined directly on to our joined hands… a flash of energy rode through our territory..and every member of our pack went to their knees.

The pack took off on a run… Alexis decided to wait to shift away from everyone who is not of our pack. Keeping Arielle a secret a little while longer. Our pack knows why.. and Cody took them in the opposite direction of Athos and Arielle.. They shifted to run together for the first time. He led her to a secluded cove and they completed the mating process in their true form.. marking one another as wolves. He locked in place, as he knotted and they felt themselves come into their power. Athos was larger.. much larger than before. Arielle felt her speed, agility and strength increase, as she too, grew larger!

There was a huge celebration…everyone danced, ate, drank and simply partied… late into the night. Max brought Alexis to the dance floor.. he spun her around and back into him and he said “I have a serious question and I need an honest answer” … She smiled and nodded… He grinned saying “I love Helena. I want to spend my life with her. I am asking your permission to ask her to marry me” eeeeeeeep… Poof! He stood there looking stunned… and turned circles looking for her. I stepped over and asked “What did you say to excite my mate?” Max responded “ I asked for her blessing to propose to Helena” i nodded “Yup… that would do it!”

Alexis poofed back in….with suds in her hair… Raising an eyebrow at her I asked “How?” She said “I don’t want to talk about it!” And went to the bar and got a drink. Max asked “where’d she go?” I started laughing and said “If I had to guess..it’s either the dishwasher.. or one of the commercial washing machines…but I’m not allowed to ask” and he cracked up!

I walked over to my beautiful mate…wrapped my arms around her and whispered in her ear “Dance with me”.. her whole body shivered and I will never not love the feeling of that! A whisper..and she melts! We danced four songs…when the crowd got hushed and we all saw Max on one knee, in front of Helena.. I smiled “My sweet babygirl, I know you’re going to be very excited.. but can we not poof out of here and steal your aunt’s moment?” She laughed and said “I love you..but that was mean!” And we both laughed.

Max spoke so poetically… Helena cried and nodded.. and ge swung her in a circle yelling “She said YES!” Like anyone would think she said anything different! The next thing I knew Helena had Alexis off to the side… discussing flowers and colors and whatever makes a wedding special for a woman!

By the time we all headed to bed… the Alphas had agreed to a meeting in the conference room.. to discuss what is happening with the packs. I figured a ten a.m meeting would be best!

Somewhere, to the north, in a remote location… Violet eyes popped open wide! He whispered “I have a daughter!” Jumping from his bed… he yelled through his mindlink 🐺 CHARLES!!! Get up! I need you now! 🐺 I’m on my way, Loren… are you hurt? 🐺 No! We have to find someone!

Charles runs into Loren’s office. Begging to know what has his best friend so upset.. Loren looks at him with worried eyes and says “A white wolf came into her powers tonight!” Charles catches his breath…. “But that would mean… “ Loren nods… tears filling his eyes “I have a daughter….and I have missed her entire life til now!” Charles paced… then he growled low “ But who!? Why would they keep your own child from you?”

Stepping to the window… Loren spoke “Take a seat. There’s something you don’t know. Almost nineteen years ago, I was traveling through Georgia… I met my true mate! For three wonderfully glorious days, I was whole. I was happy. I never lied to her. She knew I couldn’t be with her. She forgave me… she loved me. And she let me go… I have never seen her or contacted her again. I live with that pain… every day. When I felt that awakening power tonight… I knew we had created a child! And I know that child is a white wolf! We must be discreet.. But we must find her.”

Charles set still for several minutes “Fuck me! What will you tell Juliet? What the fuck are you going to tell Jeremiah?” Loren snarled “Not a Goddess damned thing! They both have what they wanted from me! They can go fuck themselves before they take my Goddess blessed child! We pack! I want to be on the road at daybreak!” Charles bowed his head…bearing his neck from the power he felt and replied “Yes, my king”
