The Unwanted Luna

Their Mate, My Saviors Chapter 51

-POV

Ayame-

What am I thinking?! We just decided not to do this crap anymore and here I am fuming like a child again. I huffed as I heard a knock on the door. "Baby, angel, please open the door. Edon is going to kill Conri!" I heard the two of them straining at the door and I let them in They aren't the reason why I'm in here. Edon started pacing and he looked like he was about to smash something while Vil slammed the door behind them. Once he fell back on the bed, his eyes closed. "I'll fix this." I said, breaking the silence.

immediately.

The two of them looked at me and Edon glanced at the door. "No, I will." He growled and stormed towards the door. Short tempers, the both of them.... No...all of them. I stood in his way and he barred his teeth at me. "Out of my way princess." He spat through his teeth. I slid my hand over his chest and he froze. I looked up at him and shook my head. "No. You stay here with Vil please."

"I'm not going to let you out there to get hurt again. I already stupidly brought you over there. Now.... Now you are going to postpone our mating again!" He was shaking but I could tell by the yellow in his eyes that his spirit was taking over.

"Wrong again, babe. I'm not going to postpone anything. We need to talk about this. I need to talk to Conri. Please stay in here and calm down." I ordered and shocked myself. The tone of my voice was much more decisive...assertive than I remember it. Vil and Edon looked at me in shock and I looked back. "Wow angel. I never thought you would get your Luna aura before we mated. That was pretty hot." Vil added with a smirk.

I cleared my throat and fumbled my way out the door, closing it behind me. I heard the lock click and I thanked Vil for keeping that wild bear secured. I walked over to where Conri was when I stormed off and he was still typing away on his computer but I saw the bruise healing on his cheek. Sh*t. I caused another fight between the three of them.

How can I call myself their mate when I'm the reason for so much of their stress and pain recently?! I took a deep breath and stood in front of Conri while I pulled on the cuffs of my baggy sleeves. He continued typing and I waited patiently. This is how he is even when he's not angry. I'm not about to test the theory when he's pissed.

"What?" He growled after slamming his finger on the last key. I'm shocked the keyboard survived the impact.

His eyes met mine and I bit my tongue. Getting angry at him is what started all of this in the first place. I need to stay calm, just like I told Edon to do. "Talk to me." I pushed and the same voice as last time came to the forefront.

He raised a brow, shocked at the shift, then a small grin fell on his lips. "So, you got your Luna Aura then." Conri noted, but it wasn't a question.

"Luna Aura?" I've heard it twice now. It doesn't hurt to ask.

He rubbed his nose and I noticed the slightest wince in his eye. "Yes. It's what happens when you accept your alpha mates. When you decided who you would like to mate with first, you accepted the bond, therefore, Luna Aura." He explained through a clenched jaw. "Great, but you and I both know that's not what I came out here to talk about."

"Well aware."

"Then why are you changing the subject?"

"Because the subject is bullshit!" He shot back.

"So, that means you get angry at me?! Didn't we just have a three-day weekend to discuss with each other how to communicate better? The minute something goes wrong, you recess into your own problems and become someone who was even worse than first-impression Vil." His hand rested on his forehead and he looked up irritably. "Are you scolding me?!"

I took another deep breath and walked up to him. He continued to stare but said nothing else. I took the opportunity to straddle his lap and wrapped my hands around the fabric of his shirt. I don't care if it wrinkles. "I am only scolding you if you think you did something wrong. Conri, you know that we are trying our best. Do you know how hard it is to be in a relationship with three of you when I just got out of a horrible relationship with just one man? Do you know how many times I've thought about what the three of you could do if you were just as evil as him?! There are three of you and I couldn't hold my own against one of him. Even better, he was just a human! You three are not. But that isn't your problem. It's my problem to fix. Now, do you see what I'm talking about?"

I could pretty much see the cogs turning at this point. "Ayame." My name came out breathless and his eyes closed while he pulled both of us back. His arms went around me as his head lightly rested on the divider behind him. "I don't care what is or isn't your problem to fix. You aren't alone anymore. You shouldn't have to fix it yourself."

And there is the reason. "So, you get angry at everything because this one time you can't help me?"

His arms tightened and my breath hitched. "One time? One time?! No, one time would be us allowing you to think that we were angry at you, then disappear to an alpha conference because it was a 'prior commitment! One time would be us stupidly letting you out of our site at your ex's wedding. Hell, we can add going there in the first place to the list! One time would be if we ignored you for two weeks while we did absolutely nothing to prevent you from coming in contact with Chaz." His breathing quickened and I continued to stare at his unopened eyes. "That's too many fuck ups. I cannot call myself your mate and continue letting you down over and over again!" He shouted.

I jumped, noticing our precarious situation and forcing my mind to not think about a possible re-rejection. I was held tightly by the raging Lycan and there was no way I could make a swift get away if I needed to. I'm glad Vil was handling Edon in the other room. "C-Conri." I stuttered, trying to stay calm. "Daddy please." I begged. It might not have worked on the yacht, but maybe it'll work now.

He leaned forward and rested his head into the crook of my neck, breathing slowly. "Little one...that is not going to calm me down in any way. Now, I have a hard-on to deal with." He growled as his teeth grazed my collarbone.

I hummed in satisfaction and released his shirt so I could wrap my arms around him. "I'm not trying to...um...arouse you right now, I just want to talk to you. I want you to know that we are in this as a unit. Please come to the room when you are ready. I want to tell you three my decision before we land. I need to get this off my chest. It's important and...and I was hoping it could happen sooner rather than later. Chaz will be there whether we enjoy ourselves or tear each other apart, but the one thing I have learned from my time in Bodhi Cora is this, mates are our world, and we are much stronger with them than when we are fighting against them. It's time I gave you three my answer."

I pulled away from him and he willingly let me go. "Give me five minutes." Conri kissed the top of my head and I sighed in relief as a smile grew on my lips. "Thank you, little one." He whispered.

I stood to my feet and nodded before giving him a kiss on the cheek. "Always, daddy." I whispered, and he growled possessively before I disappeared back into the suite.

Once I closed the door, Edon engulfed me in a hug and buried his face where Conri's was only a second ago. I really need to be marked so these three don't have to hold back so much. "Princess." He growled from deep within his chest.

I hummed in acknowledgement, and he held me tighter. "Just give him a minute. He'll pull away in a second. Your scent will help." Vil said, chewing on some pretzels from the mini-bar like this was totally normal. Well, I can't blame him. This has been totally normal lately. "Edon, baby can you please let me go, Conri will be in here in just a minute and I need to talk to the three of you about my decision." He growled at the mention of his brother's name and I shook my head. "No holding grudges. Okay?" Edon huffed and pulled away almost immediately after that. I crawled up on the bed and sat on my heels patting either side of me. "Are you two going to make me sit up here by myself?" I asked, arching my back.

They both looked at each other before grins fell on their faces. The possibilities behind those smiles made my face flush as I felt concern flow through me. I leaned back as they walked up to the bed. "Guys?" I whispered and, before I knew it, Edon pulled me up to his chest, holding my legs apart with Vil slipping in between them. "Wait...no......I need to focus." I whimpered as the heat pooled faster than ever before.

The door slammed open and Conri stared at the three of us while I did my best to get out of the situation. He shook his head and closed the door. Edon let go of me and the first thing I did was close my legs, catching my breath. "We will continue this later, angel." Vil kissed my jaw and fell back on the foot of the bed, propping his head up on his hand.

I snuggled into Edon and brought my legs up to my chest, while Conri sat on the one armchair across from us. "We are here to listen, little one."

"No! You don't get to do that!" Edon shouted, throwing his finger towards his brother while I pushed all my weight to keep him behind me on the bed.

"Please, Edon. Conri and I have already talked out there. Please let's just get to the point." I leaned up and kissed him right under his tensed jaw. He huffed, but stayed right where he was. "Well! This has been a very interesting weekend and I'm glad I've had some time with all three of you. So, I wanted to say that I've made my decision on who to mate with me first. My reason is purely based on how I can be an asset to the pack and protect myself."

"So?" Vil said, glancing at his brothers.

"I want Vil." I whispered, and the three of them stayed completely silent. Yeah, I didn't think I would pick him either.
