The Unwanted Luna

Their Mate, My Saviors Chapter 49

-POV

Ayame-

After a long shower, I came out to see the room had been cleaned and Vil was missing. I wandered around for something to wear and came across some swimsuits on the bed. These three really are attentive. I stared at the options and only one of them didn't look too complicated to get in and out of. I slipped on the top while it pressed my chest up and in and a piece of fabric looped around my neck. I grabbed the matching bottoms with a high-rise, hipster vibe to them. I looked at myself in the mirror as the crimson colors made my skin tone pop. I slipped the sheer black wrap around my waist and stepped out of Vil's room, letting my wet hair fall wherever it may lie. I'm sure it'll get wet again after I go into the ocean. No use messing with it now.

I did get a little turned around, but I finally made it up to the deck and the guys were there to meet me. They were all in swim trunks and, ironically, I matched Vil over the other two. I'm not sure when the shift happened but it was nice. I'm much happier now than I was before...or would it be better to describe it as lighter? "Hey Princess. You look lovely." Edon said, hopping off the cushioned area lining the perimeter of the bow and kissing my forehead.

I looked up at him and his brow furrowed before he sighed, knowing exactly what I was going to ask him. "He's alright. Just...give him a minute." Edon warned, and I have a feeling that sums up as stay out of his way for now.

Noted.

I walked up to Vil and he wrapped his arm around my waist, letting his hand wander possessively up and down my side as I leaned into his shoulder. "Edon is so tame." He pulled me onto his lap and kissed me, hard, before letting me come up for air. "You look hot as hell." Vil confirmed before leaning into my ear. "Almost as sexy as last night."

I immediately grabbed some grapes and did my best to ignore him. I swear he does this on purpose! I jammed them in my mouth and Edon started laughing as he pointed towards me. "Babe, you look like a chipmunk."

I winced and did my best to chew the food in my mouth, shaking my head. Edon laughed harder and Vil joined in. "Enough you three! Let's just go." Conri said, standing to his feet and heading off the boat.

I finally finished the grapes and the laughter faded. I already felt the gears turning while I felt the missing piece of our little quad. Constantly wondering if there was something I could have said differently last night. "Angel, remember what Edon just told you. Give him some time." Vil kissed my shoulder and I shifted my weight on his lap. Wait, how did he - oh yeah...werewolf hearing.

I nodded and he kissed my cheek. "Let's get that sexy ass of yours moving. The water is so clear here you can see the sand." Vil said.

I smiled as he led us off the boat and Edon grabbed a few items for me to snack on, including some of those tiny sandwiches I really wanted to try. Once we made it on the sand, I felt like we were in an oasis that hadn't been touched by man. There was nothing here but the items we brought with us and the crisp, warm sand beneath our toes. I'm glad I had foregone my shoes.

"Here you go, princess." Edon fed me another cucumber sandwich and I moaned happily while Conri sat, engrossed in his book and Vil did some laps in the ocean. He said it was good for him to get some cardio done after wasting two days relaxing at the villa. He really takes his exercise seriously.

Once all the food was done, I sat in Edon's lap while he yelled out to see if Vil would come in for a minute. Vil responded promptly with a...finger to his brother. "So..." Edon asked, randomly tracing circles up and down my arm.

"S-so what?" I countered, looking out at Vil finally heading in from the ocean.

"How was it?" I flinched and Edon kissed my neck. "Now you've had your...time with all three of us."

"It was... I mean...." I did not know how to answer this! None of them has asked me before and I really don't want to make it awkward between them.

"Yes, we could have that discussion, but I think it's time you met my wolf, angel." Vil said, catching his breath. Thank you Vil for the save! Wait....

I looked up at him while he rubbed his hair on the extra towels we brought from the boat. "You were out there for like two hours. How can you have enough energy to shift right now?" I don't know why I was so shocked by this but his eye roll confirmed that it wasn't as big of a deal as I was making it.

"I did that on purpose. The cardio is nice for training and all, but like I told these two, it will be a challenge for me to shift in front of you without allowing my spirit to uh...mark you." He cleared his throat and I could feel the discomfort from here.

I...I have to choose. I felt so sure of myself this morning, but now all of my thoughts are thrown to the wayside, especially after dinner last night...and those strange dreams. No matter how many pleasurable moments I went through with Vil, it still didn't erase the fact that I'm a stranger to myself. If I really am part of this royal bloodline, maybe my bear was just as suppressed as my memories. I want to ask Conri so badly, but the entire time we have been on shore, he hasn't said a word. "-me!"

I mean, what if I really am a werebear and all this stress was for nought? That is a strong possibility, but I also want to know why I can't remember anything before I choose and - "Ayame!" The three of them shouted and I looked at three concerned pairs of eyes staring right back at "Y-yes?" I whispered.

me.

"Where did your mind go?" Edon asked, holding onto me tightly.

"Do you...not want to see my wolf? I'm fine if you don't, it will be less stress on me." Vil said, worry coating his every word.

"Yes, I mean, no, I do want to see your wolf, I just don't have a decision for you three yet. Wha-what if I'm actually a werebear and that's been suppressed just like my memories? What if I've been putting all of us in such a stressful situation for no reason?! What if -"

Vil rested his finger over my lips and kissed my cheek. "Let's just meet my wolf for now. We will deal with your suppressed memories when we get back. Nothing that a visit to doc can't fix."

I nodded slowly, not having the heart to tell them that he's the one who pointed out my amnesia in the first place. Vil stepped back and pulled off his trunks while his teeth were replaced with canines and his eyes shifted to the delicious orange I loved so much. Then, in a second, I was face to face with a large brown and gold alpha werewolf.

"Vilkas." I whispered while his wolf started stalking towards me, licking his lips and growling lowly. So this is what Vil was talking about.

"Vil!" Edon shouted, immediately standing to his feet and pulling both of us closer to the trees.

He growled and snapped his teeth. When I saw the three of them shift, Edon was pretty easy to be around, Conri was holding back his Lycan, but Vil... Vil looked like he was completely absent. He gave full control to his wolf and his wolf wanted me. I could feel it in every inch of my being while his eyes were glued to my body. "Vil!" Conri bellowed and that made the wolf freeze in its tracks. I looked at Conri just long enough to see his eyes completely shift to the black I had become familiar with. "Come on, brother, you can do this. Get back control, now!" Edon added.

Vil turned his attention between the two of them before shaking out his head and sitting on his haunches. He barked once and Conri and Edon visibly relaxed. Edon kissed my neck and rubbed my arms. "He's fine now, you can approach, slowly." Conri warned.

I turned to him wanting to make some snarky comment about his ability to finally speak to me, but decided against it. Vil needs me just like they did. My annoyance with Conri's one-eighty personality shift is irrelevant right now. I took a deep breath and walked towards him while the subtle wind caught my locks, letting them flow behind me. "Hey Vil." I smiled softly and walked over to him, slowly raising my hand towards his snout.

He looked at me, then his eyes glanced at his brothers behind him. I could feel that the tension was easing. Vil took this time to lay on his paws and closed his eyes. He was concentrating so hard. I kind of had a feeling that Vil would be the one with a harder challenge, holding back his spirit. Conri and Edon have much stronger spirits than Vil's but, in ranking order, Vil's spirit would be the first one I would expect to mark me. Without my permission. He purred softly and snorted and I realized he was probably rolling his eyes at his situation right now. Once I grazed my hand over his head, he growled lowly, but the sound felt sultry and seductive. He liked the touch. I giggled lightly and he slowly brought his head up to stare into my eyes. "I know you needed them here with you. I'm glad you didn't mark me, but I hope I don't have to keep you waiting for too long." I rubbed my nose on his and he pulled his head back in shock.

If he could show emotion on his face, I would have to say it would be his eyes bugging out of his head while his jaw hung slack at the amount of affection I'm showing him. "Yes Vil, she's not afraid of us at all and, from our experiences, I think she wants to be as close to our spirits as she is to us." I could feel him sigh in relief as he stood to his feet and walked to the blanket behind me. He sat down like a domesticated dog as he turned his head to point towards his torso. I tilted my head for a second until I realized he wanted me to sit with him.

I got to my feet and walked up to him, snuggling myself into his fur and he rested his head over my torso. I felt so warm. It was perfect. I yawned, not noticing I was still exhausted from last night's escapades. "Do you want to spend the afternoon on the beach princess?" Edon asked, pulling a lock of hair away from my cheek.

I nodded and snuggled in further. "Okay, we will give you two some time together. Don't fall asleep on him though." Edon smirked and kissed my cheek before I could feel their presence disappear, leaving me alone with Vil's werewolf.
