The Supreme Man: Took Everything in Power

Chapter 960 Don't Know Better!

Kingsley waved his hand. "Alright, now that you, military personnel, are here, go ahead and handle these people who illegally sealed off the road."

"Yes!" Kevin snapped to attention, almost raising his hand in a salute. Then he asked, "So... how should we handle it? Should we arrest them or give them a lesson right here and now?"

After a moment of contemplation, Kingsley instructed, "Don't waste any more time. Just handle it right here."

Kevin stood rigidly, nodding. "Understood. As you say."

The dialogue between the two had dumbfounded everyone.

Isn't this a lower-ranking officer seeking approval from a higher-ranking one and then receiving orders?

Then again, it didn't seem like this military officer knew the young man. Moreover, who was this young man to have this regiment commander follow his orders?!

For a moment, everyone felt bewildered, unable to comprehend the current situation.

Meanwhile, Maverick, who had been observing from the side, looked at Kingsley with complex emotions, his mind in turmoil. As a leader in the Cole Gang, he was different from the ordinary spectators.

He had a faint feeling that the arrival of these military personnel for the exercise might not be a coincidence. Yet he doubted that Kingsley had sent them here.

He couldn't fathom how a young man like Kingsley could command a regimental commander.

He couldn't convince himself.

Amidst everyone's profound confusion, Kingsley walked up to Quintus, casually grabbed a folding chair, and sat down.

This type of folding chair was commonly used on production sets, and Robert had been sitting on it earlier, guarding the intersection. Nonetheless, his action shocked everyone in the vicinity.

What the f*ck?! The regiment commander hasn't even had his seat, yet this young man has already taken one for himself nonchalantly! However, when they looked at the military officer's expression, he seemed unfazed, leaving everyone even more bewildered.

Now, everyone in the field was standing, with only Kingsley sitting there. It was as if he were an emperor enjoying the masses' adoration. Robert's eyelid twitched, and an inexplicable thought emerged in his mind.

Can it be that this young man is the son of some military bigshot?! That's why he can dispatch all these soldiers over and dare to act so presumptuously in front of the regiment commander?!

The more Robert thought about it, the more reasonable it seemed.

Otherwise, there was no way to explain why such a young person dared to disregard the Lawson Family why he was the first to know about the kidnapping of Kendall, and why he dared to sit down in front of a regiment commander Without a care in the world!

With these thoughts, Robert knelt on the ground with a thud, saying to Kingsley, "Please forgive me for not knowing better, sir! Please forgive me for my ignorance and rudeness!"

Upon hearing Robert's words, the muscles on Quintus' face twitched. Immediately, he produced the same thought as Robert. So, he quickly knelt on the ground, begging Kingsley for mercy. Kingsley snorted disdainfully in response. "I told you earlier, didn't I? Since you insist on being tied to River, don't cry for injustice when you suffer later!"

"I..." Quintus regretted deeply. If he could return to half an hour ago, he would give himself a good slap in the face!

If he had known that the young man

before him might be someone influential scion, he would have distanced himself from River at the first opportunity and obediently left. But now, it was too late!

The crowd was shocked when they saw Quintus and Robert kneeling before Kingsley, and amidst their awe toward Kingsley, they whispered.

"I think I understand now. Those soldiers were brought here by that young man!"

"No way! I thought the military officer didn't know him. You must be overthinking it. It's just a coincidence!"
