Chapter Insomnia



Symons became stable but slips into a coma. A coma so deep the doctors fear he may not recover from it. So known Symons lies in his hospital bed eyes facing the sealing for a strange peculiar reason his eye leads refuse to shut. Making the patient appear shocked or in a frightened state. His family is worried and has to take the decision of keeping him alive on life support two days later. It was settled Symons would be kept on life support as long as it takes.

Deep in the depths of Symons mind. He is stuck a trance like dream but the dream feels very vivid and real. Symons happens to be stuck in some kind of maze. He is being pursued by shadows appearing on walls of the maze, the shadows show faces, roman numbers, and Full sentences. Comic impressions, renaissance art imagining. As to say you could look on to the wall of the maze and see a detailed image which could pass you a message, an understanding, a mode of incepting thought into Symons mind. The maze felt like a prison with nothing but the shadows to torment Symons.

In real time its day six of since Symons has being in a coma, the hospital runs their daily checks on him. Moments and time go by. Symons is visited by friends and family, his mostly visited by his mother and girlfriend. The case in the hospital is some worth significant to the regular medical situations around the hospital. Symons is visited by student doctors, different medical staff even veteran doctors. I visited Symons on day twelve. It was a quiet but sad scenario

On the seventh day deep in the depths of Symons mind, Symons begins to feel frustrated and in rage egger to break free out of his trance dream. The shadows after so much torment make it clear to Symons, although his vessel the body is possessed by pathogens. His dreams are still semi-created by his own imagination and mind (brain). This is to say the pathogens are only additional variables to the equation. Upon understanding this, Symons begins to boil with and internal rage. In reality its day seven ten thirty-six P.M. all the hospital apparatus begins to read out of control, back in Symons mind he begins to head to the middle of a maze. Were he is imagining he could see a hammer he takes the hammer and begins to smash the wall. He keeps smashing until he his reaches the last wall of the maze. He starts to yell; how can I be doing this to myself? As he pounds the last wall water floods out and washes him away.

Symons wakes up into reality shocked, in a split second his optic nerves begins to function. He tries to shout but he can’t move his mouth, he tries his hand no response. As a matter of facts Symons seems to have woken up to some sort of paralytic state. Symons can’t move his body; all Symons is able to see is his vantage view. He sees the sealing and the drip connected to his hand by his side. He can hear voices and people walking all across the hospital. He feels so much agony as he is unable to reach out for help.
