THE SPIRITUAL AWAKENING

Symons is stuck on the bed with nothing but the sealing to steer at. The morning shift nurse arrives and begins to run check on him. Symons is able to see her but is unable to talk. Several other people visit the room to see other patience. Symons can hear all their conversations; this is the closest contact with human Symons as experience since the day of his crash. Yet he is so confused about what will happen to him. A girl visiting her grandmother in the same ward as Symons begins to listen to gossip about him. The old lady begins to tell her grandchild about the accident and how Symons has been in a coma for eight days. Symons begins to think deeply; will he remain on the sick bed wide awake while everyone around him feels he is in a coma. He begins to think deeply about the good life he had once lived before the incident. Symons begins to hear voices in his head, hearing thoughts that felt external from his own reasoning sort of a split personality. Symons starts to feel tired and has the feeling of falling asleep

Symons has been conscious for several hours but is still in a paralytic state. The situation begins to dawn on him and he becomes more depressed. He feels like his shouting but the voice is only heard in his head. One of his pathogens begins to speak to him in a silent voice, keep screaming no one can hear you. Sometime during the late hours of the afternoon Symons girlfriend arrives for a visit. She seats and starts to reminisce about the good times they had. Symons can hear her but he has grown warier and tired. Symons begins to fall asleep and he dreads it, knowing that if he slips into slumber he will fall back into the vivid dream. He is unable to stay awake as he fades slowly back into sleep. Symons returns the dream world and has an encounter with the shadows. He hears a thought in his mind saying don’t you feel better here at list you can walk in this world. Your body is worthless but yet you face fear in this dungeon and this world of limbo. As at this point Symons this back in the maze and it looks new as no damages have been done to it. Even the places we’re he once left path marks have been erased. The dimension of the place has not changed; it looks intact as the first time Symons appeared in it. Symons is filled with pain, anger, hate and sorrow He continues to see shadows. The Shadows haze writes on the wall we will be with you in both reality and dream. It was still I you looked upon on the sealing in the hospital followed by a grim laugh that echoes down the tunnels.

Meanwhile in reality at the hospital a doctor walks into Symons ward for a general check of all patience. While going true Symons reports he notice’s an anomaly in Symons file. He calls the nurse on duty to ask why he wasn’t informed about the changes in his blood pressure, temperature and vital signs. These chat shows messages on the monitor implying Symons is running a hundred-meter sprint and then the graph slumps back to the normal average of coma patience’s. The nurse claim she was not on duty and whoever was on duty mush have ignored it. The doctor takes the files and leaves the room. He immediately calls a meeting with the hospitals best physicians.
