The Return Of The Amazing Single Mom By Wendy Titus

Chapter 91

Chapter 91

The children responded enthusiastically, and the teachers started handing out Rubik’s Cubes.

“Now, let’s begin the preliminary round. Those children who can restore all six sides of the Rubik’s Cube within ten minutes. will advance. Then, the outstanding children from each class will proceed to the competition platform on the playground

for the next round.”

The children held their Rubik’s Cubes, and their eyes were wide open. Just solving one side of the cube was challenging enough, and now they had to restore all six sides within ten minutes. It was really difficult.

“The countdown begins now”

Anna was dumbfounded. Why did it start so quickly? She didn’t have time to prepare yet.

Most of the children started twisting their Rubik’s Cubes Restoring all six sides was incredibly challenging.

While the children were struggling. Lindsay was the first to raise her Rubik’s Cube Rebecca was completely surprised that a child could finish so quickly.

She exclaimed excitedly. “We have our first child in the class who completed all six sides of the Rubik’s Cube, and it’s Lindsay!”

All eyes turned to Lindsay She was the first one to restore all six sides of the cube. She was amazing

“Lindsay is incredible! She solved the Rubik’s Cube so quickly.”

“Anna said she couldn’t speak and was dumb. I wonder if she’s really dumb?”

Anna was instantly enraged How could that dumb girl solve the Rubik’s Cube completely

It must be a fluke, just a coincidence. She could do it too,

Anna started desperately twisting the Rubik’s Cube, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t solve even one side. Oliver and Milo had already completed their Rubik’s Cubes, although they were slightly slower than Lindsay

They didn’t go easy on Little Tail, and she didn’t disappoint them

Time was up By then, five children in the class had completed all six sides of the Rubik’s Cube within ten minutes.

“Lindsay, Oliver, Milo, Sasha, and Aaron, the five of you have completed the Rubik’s Cube within ten minutes. Now, you will represent our class and compete against other classes. Let’s give them a warm round of applause and wish them good

results”

The class erupted in enthusiastic applause, and Anna stared fixedly at Lindsay in anger.

“Lindsay is so amazing. Do you think she can win first place?

Upon hearing the discussion, Anna scoffed. “She just got lucky. It’s a mere coincidence. There’s no way she can win first place

Milo raised his brows and looked at Anna. He replied, “Seems like you have pour character. That is why you have such bad

luck. It’s karma.”

Anna was furious, almost fuming with anger

At this time, Rebecca said, “Children, let’s go to the playground now.”

Rebecca led the children to the playground, and children from other classes gradually arrived.

The new principal stood on the stage with a microphone and said loudly. “We want to express special thanks to Jasper Holdings for this event. All the tablets on-site, including the prizes, are provided by Jasper Holdings.”

The principal applauded first, and applause followed from below.

The principal continued, “Now, let’s begin the semi-finals. All the children who qualified for the semi-finals, please come to the stage, take your seats in order, and use the tablets in front of you.”

“We get to play games together again. I’m so happy.”

Milo happily spoke to Lindsay, and she instantly felt less nervous.

Excited to play with her big brothers, Lindsay nodded enthusiastically, full of enthusiasm.

Anna’s eyes almost popped out of her head in frustration

How did a dumb girl who couldn’t even speak end up on the stage?

After the children settled into their seats, the principal continued speaking

“The semi-finals will test your memory and reasoning skills with the game Three-Color Mate: Once the game starts, you

can click on the blocks to change their colors. The challenge is to make all the blocks the same color. Once you have successfully changed all the blocks to the same color, you will have completed the challenge. There is a specific pattern. among these blocks, so think carefully and use your intelligence.”

The children below were in an uproar.

“This looks so difficult.”

“Oh my, how do they even do this?”

The principal passionately declared, “Now, let the competition begin.”

Lindsay stared at the screen, her fingers sliding rapidly, as fast as her brain could process.

Before long, she pressed the completion button.

The entire audience, including teachers and students, was astonished. How did she do it so quickly?

Lindsay’s classmates were dumbfounded.

Lindsay was truly incredible. They finally understood that there would always be individuals who were superior and performed better than them.

Anna’s jaw dropped in shock as well.

How was this possible? She had been staring at Lindsay intently, afraid that she was cheating.

But even though she had been watching so closely, she hadn’t noticed anything unusual. It was truly battling.

Luck, it had to be luck. There was no other explanation.

Next time, Lindsay would not be this lucky again.

Oliver and Milo exchanged a smile. Their sister was truly remarkable.

She had the ability to impress others with her brilliance and even shocked them.

After the second round, out of the original eighty children, only ten remained.

The principal declared with enthusiasm. “It’s time for the finals. The final challenge is ‘Beehive Circuit. This game tests the children’s reasoning abilities. After the game starts, a honeycomb-shaped plane consisting of numerous points and numbers. – will appear. Each number represents the number of lines surrounding the hexagon. You have to connect all the points with

straight lines. But remember, all straight lines cannot overlap or branch. Children, are you all ready for the challenge?”

“We’re ready.”

The principal then continued, “Okay. Let’s begin!”

After an intense mental battle, Lindsay lived up to everyone’s expectations and pressed the completion button first.

With that press of the button, Anna’s heart shattered.

How was this possible? No, Lindsay couldn’t possibly win first place.

Anna had been staring at her intently, but she hadn’t even seen how Lindsay’s fingers moved.

“Lindsay is incredible. Did any of you see how she completed it?”

The screens displayed the videos of all the participants’ actions, projected onto a large screen.

Since Lindsay had been in the lead previously, everyone’s attention was on her.

However, even with everyone staring intently, nobody could figure out how Lindsay had completed it. She was already in the first place.

“I couldn’t see it. Lindsay has a keen mind and a fast reaction. I’m just slow and dull.”

“That’s right. Lindsay has a smart brain in her head. My head only adds to my height.”

The children were all amazed and convinced. Oliver and Milo were very satisfied with everyone’s shocked expressions.

Milo shouted loudly, “Lindsay, you’re amazing!”

The whole crowd joined in, shouting. “Lindsay, you’re amazing!”

Lindsay stood on the stage, accepting everyone’s praise.

Suddenly, she felt her heart fill with something.

She realized that she, too, could stand under the gaze of the crowd.
