Chapter 88
Chapter 88
About 20 minutes later, they arrived at Star Kindergarten.
“There’s a bit of traffic ahead. I’ll pull over and park the car here. We can walk the remaining fifty meters,” Randall said.
Christine replied. “Okay.”
Randall parked the car about fifty meters from the entrance of Star Kindergarten, and Christine got out of the passenger
seal.
Randall opened the back door, and the three children also got out. Together, they walked towards the kindergarten
entrance.
Randall was tall and handsome, and Christine was beautiful. The two little boys were good–looking, and the girl was adorable.
Wherever this combination went, they were a striking presence that attracted attention.
Onlookers stared and exclaimed. “This family is incredibly good–looking! The man is handsome, the woman is beautiful, and they definitely haven’t had plastic surgery. Look at those three children. The boys resemble their father, and the girl takes after her mother. Are they triplets? They look like a happy family.”
“Now I understand what they mean by a ‘blessed family. They’re incredibly good–looking.”
Christine felt embarrassed hearing the comments from passersby.
Who would have thought she would be associated with an arrogant man like Randall? It was like being cursed for eight lifetimes.
However, it was true that people thought she was beautiful and the children were attractive. Christine shamelessly smiled. Suddenly, Randall embraced her and whispered in her ear.
“Are you happy when you hear others say we’re a family? You’re not even trying to hide it.”
Christine felt a tinge of anger. Annoying, just annoying. Who wanted to be a family with Randall? Who would be happy to hear that? She wished she could stay away from him.
“Why are you hugging me? Let go.”
Christine glared at Randall, but he smirked and said, “Didn’t you hear what others were saying about us? They called us a blessed family I not only want others to know we’re good–looking but also that we have a great relationship, making them
envious.”
Christine didn’t expect someone as cold and aloof as Randall to have such a childish side.
“You’re so childish.”
Christine directly removed Randall’s hand from her shoulder.
At that moment, the three children who were walking ahead seemed to have heard the commotion and turned their heads.
But it seemed like they didn’t notice anything unusual.
Christine felt relieved that she hadn’t let the children see Randall embracing her.
Otherwise, the consequences would be unimaginable.
Lindsay might have mistaken her for her mommy.
Oliver and Milo might have pounced on Randall and attacked him furiously.
Christine was trying to protect Randall’s reputation. If he continued to act recklessly, it would affect his company’s reputation and attractiveness to other women. She was meant for his good, yet he kept pushing the limits.
He was courting death!
Taking just fifty meters of the road felt mentally exhausting for Christine.
Finally, they arrived at the entrance of the kindergarten. Rebecca saw Randall and Christine together and said, “Lindsay’s daddy, Oliver and Milo’s mommy, what a coincidence to have you both here at the same time!”
At that moment, Lindsay looked up with her innocent face and said in her childish voice, “Ms. Clark, we came together.”
Rebecca was extremely shocked. How could they have come together? What shocked her more was that Lindsay could speak now.
Lindsay’s words left Christine speechless.
It was quite misleading.
Suddenly, Christine felt like Rebecca was looking at her with different eyes. It was like Rebecca was imagining some ridiculous storyline in her mind.
Rebecca said in astonishment, “Lindsay, you’re amazing! You can speak now. That’s wonderful.”
Randall’s eyes turned cold as he said, “I’ll leave the children in your care.”
Rebecca nodded repeatedly and smiled. “Children, go to the classroom first. I’ll be here to receive other students.”
The three children walked together into the classroom, and Christine politely said to Rebecca, “Ms. Clark, we’ll be going
now.”
“Alright. Goodbye, Rebecca replied.
Just as Christine turned around, Randall’s hand was once again placed on her shoulder.
Rebecca stood there and was utterly stunned. Why was Lindsay’s daddy embracing Oliver and Milo’s mommy?
Lindsay’s daddy was none other than Randall Reeves, the CEO of the Reeves Group.
He was the man that women in Archiland wanted to marry the most.
What was going on here?
Christine was utterly speechless. Why did Randall have to embrace her at this moment? It only made the situation even more ambiguous. How was she supposed to explain this?
Christine was angry, and she exclaimed furiously, “Randall, did you do it on purpose? Why did you have to make those misleading gestures?”
Randall acted nonchalantly and replied, “Even if I didn’t make any misleading gestures. Ms. Clark would still have misunderstood we are a family since Lindsay told her we came together. I was merely confirming her thoughts.”
Seeing Randall’s innocent appearance, Christine felt the urge to hit him.
She walked away quickly, not wanting to have any more involvement with him.
Randall asked, “The car is here. Where do you want to go?”
“You can go. I’ll take a taxi.”
Christine spoke impatiently and swiftly ran across the street, feeling that even a second’s delay would be unlucky, which amused Randall.
Christine stood on the street, eagerly waiting for a taxi, but there wasn’t a single one in sight.
She anxiously opened her ride–hailing app, but it was rush hour, and getting a taxi was difficult.
She could tell that she was going to be late.
At that moment, Randall drove his Maybach over and stopped by her side again.
“Get in.”
Randall’s voice was indifferent, low, and carried an unquestionable dominance.
Christine refused to get in.
She said, “Mr. Reeves, please go ahead. I’ll take a taxi. I can go to the hospital by myself
Why would she take a taxi instead of getting into his car? What was she implying by rejecting his offer?
“Get in the car. I don’t like talking to a street girl.”
Randall’s voice grew heavier, driving Christine to the brink of flaring up in anger.
The situation was made worse when a middle–aged man with a big belly walked past and glanced at her curiously.
She felt like she was losing her mind.
Was the CEO of Reeves Group this uncultured?
Could the term “street girl” be casually thrown at a woman? Could he use a more appropriate word? He should return to elementary school to improve his language.
She was standing on the street, yet he dared to label her that way? It was simply unbearable!
“Mr. Reeves, can you choose your words wisely? I’m only standing on the street, not a street girl. Do you understand the difference?” Christine retorted.
“I simply don’t want to talk to a street girl, Randall replied nonchalantly.
At that moment, another middle–aged man walked by. He cast an even more curious gaze at Christine.

She was infuriated. Was Randall doing it on purpose?
Not wanting to endure more judgmental gazes, Christine hastily opened the back door and got inside the car.
“Drive quickly.”
She just wanted to escape this place. After all, the two middle–aged men who had walked past before were still turning their
heads from a distance.
They looked like they were eagerly waiting for them to break up and take the opportunity.
Christine’s face turned red with anger, all thanks to Randall.
“Why don’t you sit in the front?”
