The rebirth of a new Luna by Alexia Morgan

Chapter 4

Chapter 4

I opened my eyes, blinking against the bright light. I was lying on the ground in a forest, surrounded by tall trees. I sat up, disoriented and confused, wondering how I got here and what was happening.

I stood up, feeling unsteady on my feet. I felt a sense of unease wash over me, and I knew something was wrong. I looked down at my skin and was shocked to see that it was lighter. I had always been darker, but now my skin was a shade or two lighter.

I ran towards the river that I saw nearby, needing to see for myself. I reached the water’s edge and looked into the clear, calm water. And that’s when I saw her. A stranger, looking back at me with my own eyes.

I stumbled back, feeling a mix of confusion and fear. What was happening to me? Why was I in this different b*dy? Had I been switched with Someone else?

I rubbed my face, trying to make sense of it all. But the reflection staring back at me was still that of a stranger. I felt a sense of desperation wash over me. I needed answers, and I needed them now.

I turned away from the river, my thoughts racing. I had to find out what was going on, and I had to get back to my own b*dy. I took a deep breath and started walking, determined to find some answers and get back to the life I knew.

As I ran through the unfamiliar forest, I couldn’t shake the feeling of confusion and disorientation. I remembered getting married to Lucian, my beloved alpha, but beyond that, my memories were hazy and indistinct.

And then there was this new b*dy I was in. It was lighter, brighter, and it seemed to respond to my every command with ease and grace.

I transformed into a werewolf, testing the limits of this strange new form. To my surprise, I was running faster than I ever had before, like a bolt of lightning had struck me. I was once the weakest and slowest werewolf in my pack, but now I felt powerful and agile.

I quickly changed back into my human form, overwhelmed by the sudden shift in my abilities. Where did this sudden speed come from? What was happening to me?

As I walked through the forest, I noticed a town in the distance. It was different from Moonstone. Everything looked different, and I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was off. This wasn’t my town.I wondered how I got here and where my beloved Alpha Lucian was.

As I made my way towards the town, I saw someone running towards me, calling out “Iris!” with excitement in his voice. I was taken aback, who was he calling? I turned around to see if there was someone behind me, but it was just me. Was he mistaking me for someone else?

As the stranger approached me, I prepared myself for any potential danger. But to my surprise, he was just a friendly old man with a kind smile. He looked at me in wonder and asked, “Iris, is that really you? You Took just the same.”

I was taken aback, did he know me? “I’m sorry, I think you have the wrong person. My name is Nadia,” I said, trying to make sense of the situation.

The old man’s smile faded, “Nadia? But that’s not possible. You disappeared for over a year. You look just like her, you’re Iris.”

What was happening? Who was this Iris person, and why was I in her b*dy? I needed to find answers and fast.

Suddenly, I noticed a tall light-skinned guy approaching me from afar, and as soon as he set his eyes on me, he froze and tears started flowing down his cheeks.

He rushed to me and gave me a warm hug, and I couldn’t help but feel a little overwhelmed. He held me tight and said, “I thought I had lost you.”

I didn’t know what he meant, but I could feel the genuine emotion in his voice.

Suddenly, I pulled back, a look of confusion on my face. “Who are you?” I

asked.

Vance was taken aback. How could Iris not recognize him? “It’s me, Vance,” he said gently. “Your mate.”

I looked at Vance, my brows furrowed in confusion as he claimed to be my mate. “What do you mean, mate?” Lasked, my voice laced with

uncertainty. My eyes darted around, trying to make sense of my surroundings. “And where am I?” I inquired.

Vance met my gaze and replied calmly. “You’re home, Oakwood.”

My eyes wandered again, and a deep sense of unease settled in my stomach. “This isn’t Wildemont, is it?” I asked hesitantly.

Vance shook his head, his expression grave. “No, Iris. It’s not, are your okay?”

“You look confused,” he continued. “Perhaps we should go see the doctor. and get you some herbs to calm you down.”

I felt a sense of relief wash over me as he spoke those words. I definitely needed those herbs.

As I looked around the room, I noticed that everyone was staring at me. Some of them even screamed, “Iris! You’re back!”

Seems Iris was truly loved by everyone. It felt like I had just woken up from a dream and couldn’t quite grasp what was happening.

Vance took my hand and led me into the chambers. As we walked down. the hallway, he kept reassuring me that everything was going to be okay.

As we entered the room, the doctor saw me and he let out a loud screa “Iris, you’re back! We thought you were dead.”

I just stood there staring at him and remained silent.

Vance quickly took charge of the situation, he turned to the doctor and said, “Do you have anything that can help her sleep? I need her to rest so she can get herself back.”

The doctor nodded, “Yes, I have some herbs that can help her sleep. They’re natural and won’t cause any harm.”

Vance turned to me and said, “Iris, I know this is all overwhelming, but we need you to rest. The doctor is going to give you something to help you. sleep, and we’ll be here when you wake up.”

I nodded my head, not fully understanding what I was doing in Iris’s b*dy. The doctor handed me the herbs, and I swallowed them down with a glass.

of water.

I felt the herbs take effect almost immediately. My vision blurred, and I felt myself falling. I heard Vance calling my name, but everything was spinning, and my eyes were too dizzy to focus.

The next thing I knew, I was standing in Wildemont. I saw flashes of Lucian celebrating his new heir with Lyra, my best friend. I saw myself telling Lucian I was pregnant, and I felt a surge of joy and excitement. But then the next image struck me like a bolt of lightning.

Isaw Lucian mistreating me, accusing me of faking my pregnancy and

poisoning Lyra’s cup. I saw myself drinking from the same cup, trying to prove my innocence. But then I realized too late that it was poisoned, and I died.

The next thing I knew, I was waking up in a strange forest, in a strange town, in another b*dy. There was no other explanation. It struck me like a ton of bricks – I had been reborn.

I screamed from my sleep, holding my belly and shouting “My baby!” Vance was there, holding me and trying to calm me down. But I couldn’t

stop

the flood of emotions and memories that were overwhelming me.

I had been given a second chance at life, but I was filled with fear and uncertainty. What if the same fate awaited me in this new life?
