Speak To Me

Chapter 158 –

(Gabriella)

"Just, keep your eyes closed a little longer..we are almost there." Jamie whispered, his hand gripping mine as I felt nervous butterflies fluttering through me.

"Y-you won't even give me a h-hint?" I asked sweetly, trying to get any information about where we were going that I could.

After meeting with my dad, Jamie had Ray pick us up and we had been driving for a good thirty minutes before my husband told me to close my eyes.

I have no clue what this could even be about..maybe he is surprising me with a date? Whatever it is, he seems excited to say the least.

"No, I don't want to give anything away. Now, take my hands, the car is about to stop..and no peeking Princess! I'm serious.." Jamie ordered, causing a laugh to spill from my lips as I suddenly felt a soft kiss planted against them.

I felt the car come to a stop. The anticipation almost made me open my eyes as I fought the urge and decided to humor Jamie. Last thing I want to do is ruin his surprise.

"Come with me." Jamie whispered, tugging on my hands as he helped me out of the car.

"Okay, now walk this way but be careful, there is a small step."

I began to move my feet, keeping my eyes closed as I felt a cool breeze blow past me. It was late fall now and winter was coming fast.

"Step up." Jamie instructed, placing his hand on my lower back as he continued to guide me.

"Now stop."

I stood still, waiting for my next instruction as my heart began to race.

"This doesn't have to be the one if you don't like it..but I thought you might. I know it will be a suprise..but I think it's time we take this next step together..for our family." Jamie's words soaked into me, his hand sliding across my stomach as I leaned back into him. "I love you with everything I am Gabriella..now open your eyes."

My eyes began to flutter open as I let out a shuddering breath..and then a gasp..

What I saw before me was a large mansion..the outside walls were white with gorgeous vines of ivy climbing up them. It was like something straight out of a fairytale..

I couldn't help but take a tentative step forward, letting my gaze travel across the well-manicured lawn and gorgeous garden off to the left. "W-where are w-we?" I whispered, unsure of why we were here.

"Well, I came to the realization that our apartment might be a little too small for our growing family..and perhaps we should upgrade. Considering I plan on keeping you pregnant as often as I can.." Jamie's voice tickled the shell of my ear, causing goosebumps to prickle my flesh as I felt all my words disappear.

Was he saying that this could be ours?

"I know I kind of kept this a secret..but I wanted to make sure the house was perfect before I brought you here." Jamie rushed out, and I just kept looking at the beautiful home that sat infront of me. "Do..do you want to look inside?" My husband asked, and I just nodded my head before letting him guide me towards the front doors.

The closer we got to the house, the more I fell in love with it..there was even a swinging bench on the front porch.

"I remembered how much you loved going outside at your old house..and I thought since this already has a good-sized garden, it would be nice to have picnics out here. Especially with the kids when they get older." Jamie explained as he reached for the double doors, his large hand slowly turned the handle as he pushed it open..and then my mind was blown yet again.

I swear this home had to be made for us..every single detail it had was like something I would dream of having. The dark hardwood floors led into a gorgeous sitting area with a small library.

"The seller is moving out of the country, so they offered to leave a lot of the furniture if we wanted it."

I slowly stepped forward, letting my fingertips drag along the elegant wood paneling as silence still surrounded me. I didn't know how to put what I felt into words.

I walked through all of the rooms, letting my eyes absorb every detail as Jamie just watched me intently.

Then we made it upstairs, and that's when excitement filled him.

"Look here..this is where the twins can go..it's right next to our room and it's more than big enough for two cribs." Jamie rushed out, bringing me into a gorgeous white room that had a huge bay window, looking out towards the garden..and that's when the tears came. I felt a lump forming in my throat, the emotion almost choking me as I tried not to break down.

"Or, we can keep looking..we can even build something if you want..to make it perfect."

"N-no..this..this is p-perfect." I finally found my voice, turning to Jamie as he began studying my face carefully.

"Really? You think so? Because if there is one thing you don't like, we can change it." He stated while wrapping his arms around my waist.

I nodded my head eagerly, feeling those tears spilling over now.

"It's e-everything I have ever d-dreamed of.." I sobbed before throwing myself against Jamie's chest.

"No Gabriella..it's everything you deserve."

Jamie began kissing my head, his hands reaching up and cupping my cheeks as he tilted my head back before peppering my face with kisses next.

"I love you so much..and I want to give you everything..I want to give our babies everything and I promise I will." He added, while brushing my tears away.

"As l-long as I have y-y-you, I do h-have everything." I stuttered, letting my emotions take over as Jamie's honey-brown eyes seemed to sparkle. Then those kisses turned into something else. Something more passionate and raw.

"This will be all ours..our own home..a place for us to grow old in." I felt my heart burst, that realization settling in as I kissed Jamie back fervently.

"I am s-so lucky."

I felt like I was in some type of fairytale..like Jamie was my prince Charming and rode in on that white horse..saving me from a life filled with misery. I don't know how I will ever repay him, truthfully, I don't know if I can..but one thing I can do is love him for the rest of my life. Jamie pulled away, leaving me gasping for air as he peered down at me lovingly.

"I guess we better put in our offer then..and in a few months, we will bring our babies home right to this room."

"H-how many r-rooms are there?" I asked Jamie curiously, seeing a mischievous glint fill his eyes.

"Ten total."

I could see the smirk already forming as my jaw dropped open. That's a lot of rooms..

"We can add more later on if we need to..who knows how many sets of twins we might have." Jamie teased and I swear I was close to fainting.

He can't seriously want that many kids...right?! That seems like a lot, even for me..

"In fact, maybe we should keep practicing as much as possible..you know, so we don't get rusty when the time comes" My husband purred, his hands starting to grope my body as he lowered them to my ass before squeezing.

"Jamie!! We c-can't do that h-here." I rushed out, looking around the large room nervously. What if someone walked in? And besides...the house isn't ours yet..

"Mmm..I beg to differ..I say we christen this bad boy now, you know, for good luck."

And with that, Jamie pounced, leaving me a giggling mess as the man I loved began to pull up my dress. It's hard to say no to the guy..especially when he just made all of my dreams come true. "F-fine..but let's t-try and be quick."

I can't believe this mansion is going to be ours..I really am the luckiest girl in the world.
