I heard the whistling of someone approaching the room. I had thought it was Leo, but when the person emerged, I couldn’t help but stare in embarrassment. A stranger 1 didn’t know from Adam, staring at my naked body. That wasn’t even the most embarrassing part. I was cuffed to the bed, in a very, very embarrassing position

After about five minutes of a staring contest, I blinked and he began to laugh. “I won” he said cheerfully and I watched in amusement.

“I am Collins by the way. “Maybe if you’ld just act like a normal human would and get the fuck out of my bedroom, I wouldn’t be yelling” I pointed out

Chapter 23

“Didn’t your mom teach you manners? Don’t you have a sense of decency? Why can’t you? Was was he was he crying! Oh my God! Yes! He was crying, I mean real tears. I have never seen a grown mans shedding real tears in all my years of existence, literally. And I knew that whatever made a grown man shed tears was definitely something deep

“Tin. I’m shy..why are you crying! did did 1 say something did I say something wrong?” I stuttered, not knowing the right words to say, “You made mention of my mother. I didn’t grow up to know her, as a matter of fact she she died giving birth to me” his head was bent downwards while he tried to wipe off the line tear that kept rolling down his check

“You reminded me of her” My palms flew to my mouth almost immediately and I stared at him, guilt eating me up

“..I didn’t know, I’m sorry. I’m really sorry” I apologized from the inner depths of my heart. I lost a mother, and I knew just how much pain one would feel. Talk about not even getting to know her. Crowing up without her. Must have been really difficult. Instantly, I regretted saying those things to him. But not growing up with a mother doesn’t mean one has to be shitty towards others you know? Keira said and yes, she was right about that. But I believe the reason he was acting that way was because he had no mother to teach him how to be a gentleman. That is definitely not an excuse Raquel she pointed out and 1 sighed.

Looking up to him to tender another apology, I found him smiling ear to ear. Seeing the surprised and confused look on my face, he bursted out laughing

I wrapped the duvet around my body and walked to the wardrobe to pick up another dress, seeing that Leo ruined the first one. After selecting the dress, I went to the bathroom to get into it

Up until this day, I still don’t know the reason Leo did not have a walk in closet. Collins watched me go about my business without saying any more words and I couldn’t be more grateful. By the time I emerged from the bathroom, I found him by the dresser, checking out my skin care products

“Looking spectacular dearest Luna” I chose to ignore that and walk out of the room, but I bumped into Leo at the door. He looked ured and exhausted, but upon setting his eyes on Collin, everything change. He looked surprised, and at the same time, tensed up.
