Brian walked into the office. There was a hint of coldness on his handsome face.
Stella instinctively felt diffident. She had no idea why she felt this way. Maybe it was because Bernard:

“Didn’t I make myself clear this afternoon?” Brian looked at Bernard.
Bernard was silent for a moment. Then, he left without saying anything else. Stella watched in confusion
as he walked out of the office.

Stella immediately returned to her senses and asked, “What did you tell him this afternoon?”
“Nothing.” Brian didn’t want to answer her. He simply held her in his arms and sat on the swivel chair. His

“To take you to dinner,” he replied.
“Sharon is awake. Aren’t you going to visit her at the hospital?” she asked.
“I went to see her this morning. Since she just woke up, she needs to rest. Stella nodded.
Brian said, “Tidy up your things. We’re going for dinner.
“Okay.” Since it was time to get off work, she got up to pack her things. Then, she asked Brian, “Can we have spicy food?”
“No,” Brian refused without a beat.
Stella’s face fell. “It has been two or three days since I recovered from my fever.”
“You can have spicy food again the day after tomorrow. Brian said. Since he had decided to ban her from eating spicy food for three days, he’d keep his word.
Stella was disappointed. However, going out for dinner was good enough for her. She packed her things
and picked up her bag.
Brian smiled when he noticed the pink diamond bracelet on her wrist. He held her hand and walked down
from the second floor.
He drove his Bugatti Veyron today. As soon as they arrived at the mall, Brian’s car caught the attention of countless people. Brian put a hat on Stella before taking her hand and getting out of the car.

Stella tugged the corner of Brian’s clothes, feeling a little nervous. Brian could feel her nervousness and adjusted the hat on her head.

Stella didn’t dare to raise her head the entire time. She only sighed in relief when she entered the private room “It’s too dangerous to go out like this. We almost got photographed.”
“You have to get a pair of sunglasses next time,” Brian said. “We’ll buy a pair later.”
“Okay.” Stella simply nodded. She didn’t know the intention behind his words.
Did he want to protect her, or did he not want people to find out about her? Did he think she wasn’t worthy of him and didn’t want others to find out about them?
“What do you want to eat? Brian asked her.
Stella returned to her senses. She picked up the menu and said absentmindedly, “I’ll have anything.”
“You normally don’t just eat anything, do you?” He looked at her. “I remember how much of a foodie your
are.”
“Of course not.” Stella flipped through the menu. When she saw some steak, she said, ‘I’ll have this steak.
It looks delicious.”
Since this dish wasn’t very spicy, Brian allowed her to have it. “All right. We’ll have some Dungeness crabs,
mushroom soup…
