Our Journey Back To Love

Chapter 180

  1. Chapter 180

“I’m done.” Brian let go of her after licking off the milk, feeling satisfied.

Stella’s face turned crimson, and she turned around and fled as quick as a hare. Brian smiled. Did she

    have to be this shy?

After he finished eating, he went upstairs to see her, but she wasn’t in the room. He yelled, “Stella!”

“I’m over here.” Stella adorably poked her head out from the attic, holding a book in her hand.

“What are you doing up there?”

“This is my secret hideout. Do you want to come up? Stella invited him up. Her eyes were bright, filled. with anticipation

Brian was not interested in the attic. But when he saw how enthusiastic she was, he didn’t refuse her. He climbed up the ladder.

Stella said with a smile, “Look! My secret hideout hasn’t changed at all.”

When the house was cleared out, the court had forgotten about this attic. So, the things in the attic hadn’t been moved away and were still in the same place.

Brian looked around and saw dressing tables, bookshelves, hundreds of dolls, and many photo albums. He could tell that Stella had grown up in a loving environment. That was why she was so innocent

She flipped through a photo album and said with a smile, I’m looking at photos of me and my dad.” Brian wasn’t interested in looking at Simon’s photos. He asked softly, “Were you and your father close?

“My father treated me very well,” Stella said with a smile. “People used to introduce women to my father, but since I wasn’t fond of it, he didn’t get me a stepmother.

“He said that if he remarried, the woman had to treat me well, and she had to be someone I liked. Otherwise, he wouldn’t marry them,”

Stella looked very gentle when she talked about Simon. This was the first time Brian had gotten to know

    her.

Previously, he had thought she was quite innocent and foolish. She would always leave her home, find a cafe, and call him to say she was lost

Then, after tricking him into going there, she would say that she wanted to go on a date with him. If he refused, she would stubbornly stay there until he agreed.

Brian used to find her annoying, but he no longer thought so after getting used to her mannerisms. Strangely, Stella seemed to bring some fun to his dull life.

“What about your mother?” Brian asked when he noticed there wasn’t a woman in the album.

“I’ve never seen her,” Stella said sadly. “I heard she fell ill and passed away when I was very young. I don’t

even remember what she looked like ”

Bran remained silent. It turned out that both of them only had one parent. He didn’t have a father, while she didn’t have a mother. However, the difference was that Jasper and Sharon weren’t in love with each

    other

Jasper and Sharon had an arranged marriage, so they never had feelings for each other. Therefore, Sharon never felt sad after Jasper died, nor did she care about the reasons behind his death.

Bnan was the only one who had always remembered Jasper’s death. Jasper wasn’t a good husband, but

    he was a good father

At the thought of this Brian didn’t say anything else. He walked to the bookshelf and picked up a

sketchbook, wanting to flip through it

Upon seeing this. Stella quickly dashed over to him in fear. “You can’t look at that onel”

The sketchbook was filled with sketches of Brian! She had drawn them in secret. If Brian saw them, she

he snatched the sketchbook and shoved it into the depths of the bookshelf

    “What’s that?” Brian asked curiously

Those are drawings I havent completed. You can’t peek at them. It’s rude,” Stella said with a blush.

    “You know how to draw?”

“Of course Design and art are related in the first place! She refused to show him the sketchbook and

drove him out of the attic. “Okay, Your time in the attic is done. You should go down. From now on, you’re not allowed to come up here without my permission”

“Why? Do you have some secrets hidden up here?” Brian turned to ask her.

Stella refused to answer him and tried to push him out of the attic with a blush. “Well, this is my private spot You can’t just come in here. Hurry up and go down the slide!

dont want to That’s for kids” Brian refused. He didnt want to use the slide.

its convenient! You don’t understand how interesting my room is When you climb out of the window from the attic, you can just jump into the swimming pool below.”

Brian was speechless. He didnt understand the concept behind her room. “Wasn’t your dad afraid that you’d fall to your death?

She could climb out of the attic to the peach tree and jump down into the pool from the tree. Wasn’t she afraid of an accident happening when she designed this room?

I’m just being young at heart! An old man like you wouldn’t understand! Stella insisted on making him use the slide. However, Brian refused to go down the slide

In the end, the two of them somehow ended up going down the slide together. Brian was worried that she would fall off the slide, so he hugged her tightly

When the two of them reached the bottom, Stella fell on top of him Her face turned red at the contact

Brian hugged her tightly, and Stella met his gaze with widened eyes. He languidly sat at the bottom of the

    slide

“What?” Stella was surprised. She placed her hands on his shoulders, her face flushed.

“Don’t you like my touch?” Brian smirked and pulled her head over, making her meet his gaze.

Stella’s heart raced at his actions. She said nervously. “No.”

“But you liked it last night.”

His words reminded Stella of what had happened the night before…

“As if!” she refuted with a blush.

“You duplicitous liar,” Brian scoffed and brushed his fingers on her cheek.

    “Brian. Her eyes were hazy

“I’m. I’m going to take a shower. She made an excuse to escape.

Hang on, Brian said hoarsely, grabbing her waist with both hands. He moved his lips closer to her.

Then, the phone rang Stella opened her eyes and looked over. Brian’s phone was ringing, and Jessica’s name was on the screen. He took the phone and put it to his ear

    “Hello?”

Stella felt a little annoyed. She didn’t want him to answer the phone, so she nestled into his arms. She moved closer to him, yanked his shirt, and kissed him.

Brian took a deep breath at her touch. He said, Take it easy.”

“No way!” Stella purposely bit his neck.

On the other end of the line, Jessica heard the noises, and her face turned pate. “Brian, are you with Stella?

“What is it?” Brian asked while keeping his breathing even.

His voice held a hint of allure that Jessica had never heard before. She narrowed her eyes and said calmly, “Mrs. Foley is awake.”

When Brian heard her words, the passion in his gaze faded away. I got it. He hung up the phone and glanced at Stella’s blushing face. “My mom is awake”
