Chapter 175 

Everything became awfully silent. Brian wordlessly opened the door and walked out of the bathroom. 

Stella was arranging the pillows in the bedroom. When she saw him walking out of the bathroom, she asked, “Have you not showered?” 

Brian remained expressionless. He simply walked out of the room without even talking to her. 

Stella’s heart skipped a beat. She went after him, but Brian had already walked downstairs and left the house, slamming the door behind him. 

There was heavy rain and thunderstorm outside. Despite that, Brian simply walked under the rain without saying a word. 

Stella went after him to the door, wondering why he left and why he was upset. Why did he always act like this? He always changed his tune the moment they got along. 

Stella stood at the door, tears in her eyes as she watched his receding figure.

Meanwhile, Brian drove down the mountain road. The windshield wipers kept working to keep the windows clean. He was expressionless, but then, he vaguely remembered that Stella was afraid of 

thunderstorms at night. 

Every time it rained heavily, she would run to the study with a pillow in her arms. He would coldly question her about what she was doing. 

Then, Stella would say miserably, “Brian, I’m afraid of thunder. Can I sleep in the study? I won’t take up a 

lot of space. You can keep working while I sleep on the sofa.”
