Omega Lost

My emotions are already skewed and the urge to bring Elena and Eli into a more secure location has my mind focused on one destination. So this impromptu visit is making my mood even darker. I climb out of the car and fight the urge to let my anger show. Alpha Samuel already sees me as a young and incompetent Alpha who isn't right to lead my pack. If it were up to him he would try and take over, but he is smart enough to know that because I'm young I'm also stronger. If he tried to take my pack he might end up losing his and he isn't going to let that happen.

I walk casually his way and stop a few feet from him. As soon as his scent hits me my hackles rise. I've met his family enough times to know the scent all over him isn't his mate's. He's just like most Alphas in that they don't respect the bond between them and their bonded. The idea of being with another woman now that I've met Elena makes me sick to my stomach. I could never do that to her...ever. "Sebastian." He says with a slight tilt of his head.

My anger rises at the disrespect of his greeting. He isn't supposed to address me like that but once again he is trying to show how little he respects my position. "Samuel," I say coldly...two can play at that game.

His smile falters and his nostrils flare but he keeps his cool.

"What brings you here?" I ask.

He smiles. "I heard you were going to the Omega Presentation but never arrived. Our alliance can only be strong when both of our packs are secure. You without an Omega Luna makes you seem weak which makes you a less than ideal ally. Now that brings me to the reason for my visit. My daughter, you remember her yes?"

"Chloe," I say simply and his smile widens.

"Yes. My Chloe will be presented next month. A bond between you two would be a good thing to show other packs that our alliance is strong." He raises a brow at me like what my father used to do.

He's expecting me to bend to his will. Bonding to his daughter would be highly advantageous for him, but as I said...I could never do that to Elena. I know deep in my soul that she's my mate and if what I'm feeling is any indication, that is a bond stronger than any other. Why would I sacrifice that?

"I'm sorry Samuel but I will not be attending another Omega Presentation," I tell him.

His brows furrow. "Why not? How do you plan on finding an Omega? My daughter is well trained and would make a great Luna."

I want to tell him that I already found my Omega but Elena and I haven't officially bonded or even spoken about the next steps. Telling her that I will be her Alpha is only the first step.

"I do not doubt your daughter's capability as an Omega but-"

My voice haunts when I catch the first whiff of her scent. A small hand touches my arm a second later and I tense a little. What is she doing?

"Sebastian?” Her voice is soft and shy but it is enough to catch Samuel's attention away from glaring at me.

"Well well...who do we have here?" Samuel says as his eyes follow down Elena's body.

My wolf bristles and a low growl rumbles in my chest. Samuel chuckles and steps closer ignoring my warning. "Hello sweetheart, what's your name?" He asks Elena.

I'm not sure what I was expecting her to do, but she slips her hand through my arm and holds her head high.

“Elena. I'm Sebastian's omega, who are you?" She asks with a little snark in her voice.

I cover my mouth with a hand to try and hide my smile. Samuel thinks he is a well know and highly respected Alpha, her not knowing him will piss him the hell off. Samuel scoffs but covers it quickly with a smile. "Alpha Samuel of the Beachwear pack."

"Oh." Is all she says before looking up at me. "I'm sorry to interrupt..."

"You aren't." I quickly say and she gives me a shy smile. "Sorry, Samuel but my family is waiting. We'll speak soon."

I don't wait for him to reply. Instead, I turn around with Elena still on my arm and walk back to the car. I stop next to it and turn Elena so that we're facing each other.

"I'm sorry. I felt...I had this feeling that you were upset and didn't want to talk to that guy. Aria suggested I help." She says quickly.

Aria you sneaky little...

"I'm glad you interrupted," I tell her.

"You are?"

I nod slowly. Neither of us moves, and the more I look at how beautiful she is the urge to kiss her hits me like a punch to the guts.

"Seb-" I close the space between us cutting off my name from her lips.

I wrap my arm around her and pull her flush against me. She's stunned and tense at first but the longer I kiss her the more her body relaxes into me and she lets out a small whimper. The sound goes straight to my dick so I quickly move my hips away so she won't feel how hard I am right now. A kiss is one thing, but I'm not going to give her the idea that I'm expecting anything more. This is a delicate situation, and I'm taking it very seriously. This a fling, this is my Omega and she deserves to be cared for and courted properly before taking on the role of Luna in my pack.

So I break the kiss. When I open my eyes to look down at my sweet Omega she has her eyes closed still and her lips are slightly parted. I want to lean back in and steal another kiss, but I resist. Her eyes flutter open and I smirk when her face begins to flush and she lowers her eyes to my chest. I chuckle at how adorable she is and when she hides her face against my chest I wrap my arms around her and hold her to me.

She makes a sound of embarrassment that makes me tighten my hold on her.

"Hey love birds can we get going I'm a busy person here!" Aria calls out when she rolls the window down and sticks her head out.

I narrow my eyes on her and she gives me a cheeky smile before disappearing back inside of the car.

"What was that for?" Elena asks when I loosen my hold on her so she can look up at me again.

"You said you are my Omega." I remind her.

"Oh...you said I was... was that wrong? Did I misunderstand?" She's starting to panic.

"You are. Of course, you are. It just felt good to hear you say it because I'm hoping that means you accept the role....and all that goes with it." I say carefully.

I don't want to scare her by coming off too strong but I hope she knows what I mean by 'all that goes with it'.

Her face flushes and she bites her lip before lowering her eyes and nodding. "I accept all the terms that go with accepting the role as your Omega."

"Good," I say sealing our agreement with a quick kiss on her lips. "Come on. Let's go before Aria drags us back into the car. She looks small but she's very strong.' That makes her laugh.

"I heard that! I am not short!" Aria calls out.

I shake my head and step around Elena to open the door for her to climb in first. Before I follow her I signal the guards to open the gates for us. As soon as I'm in the car our driver heads through the gate which is promptly closed as soon as we pass through. Elena is crowded against the opposite door looking a little embarrassed which won't do. She probably feels weird because Aria caught us kissing, but she shouldn't be embarrassed since wolves tend to show affection a lot. Even in our human form we're affectionate and I'm not going to stop because she's worried about others seeing us.

So I move closer to her and wrap my arm around her. She looks up at me and then in Aria's direction, but I pinch her chin gently and tune her attention back to me.

"What's wrong? Are you embarrassed for kissing me?" I ask her quietly.

She swallows and lowers her eyes and that's all the answer I need.

"Don't be. It's normal and nothing to be ashamed of. You're my girl and I won't hide that ever." I promise her.

She gives me a small smile.

"Please don't ask me to stop kissing you," I say.

"I won't." She says and that's all the permission I need to steal her lips again.
