Chapter League 461

Chapter 461

Why are you so against me? Is it because I’m Winston’s friend?” Sean stood in Millie’s path.

Millie nodded at him. “I know you’re aware of the truth. Besides, I’m not into guys younger than me.”

She was exhausted just from dating Winston, and she couldn’t imagine dealing with younger, immature, and frisky guys like Sean.

“Hey, it’s not my fault I’m younger than you! I’m just a few months younger anyway.” He shrugged and stopped her from leaving, forcing her to step back.

Feeling exasperated, she warned him, “Sean, look out. There are people behind me.” It was unsafe,to be walking backward given the amount of guests around them.

“Mills, that hurt.” Sighing, Sean placed a hand on his stomach. Not only was his wound hurting, but he suffered from heartache as well.

Millie flashed him a look of contempt. Sean was about to tail Millie when someone stepped in his path. He frowned unhappily before slumping on the couch. “What’s the matter?”

Winston towered over him. “What are you trying to do?”

Sean shrugged. “Nothing much. I’m just fooling around.”

“Are you fooling with Millie now?” Winston bent over and rested his arms on both sides of Sean with a malicious and furious glimmer in his eyes.

His figure was reflected in Sean’s pupils. Sean lowered his gaze but acted even more frank and boldly.

He wasn’t fooling with Millie. On the contrary, he had developed a genuine interest in her.

Besides, Millie saved his life before. Was he wrong to be nice to his benefactor?

Smiling, he questioned, “Win, why are you so against me getting to know

Winston’s frown deepened. His tone grew irritated. “I’m not against you knowing her. But you and her are incompatible. Do not think of flirting with her.

“Are we incompatible? How about you and Millie, then?” Sean stared right into Winston’s unfeeling eyes. After a few seconds, he was first to look away.

Everyone within their social circle held Winston in high regard because of his capability. Despite his young age, he was the most successful among the younger generation–the man who propelled the Greer Group to dominance.

“So, are you really interested in Millie?” Winston interrogated Sean in a warning tone, his eyes narrowing.

Sean fell silent.

Standing up, Winston looked at his friend coldly. “You’d better think twice.”

After all, it was his ex–wife they were talking about. He wouldn’t allow his ex- wife to date his friend.

He shot a deep, knowing look at Sean before leaving in frustration. When he loosened his tie and entered the elevator, he ran into Megan.

Megan looked so frail. It was as if she could be carried away by the wind. She lost her balance. Seeing that, he grasped her arm and shot her a piercing look.

Megan trembled when she looked into his eyes. I–It was Winston Greer!

She gaped as she tried to apologize, but he had stepped into the elevator and swiftly pressed the button. The doors slid close.

Megan watched as the elevator stopped at the third floor, where the VIP rooms were located.

Even the bedrooms on the cruise were stratified. Guests of her social status stayed on the first floor–the worst rooms, and there were many of them.

She had made too many sacrifices just to get onto the cruise.

“Megan Lake, what are you doing?” A voice suddenly called out to her.
