Chapter I Died 6

Chapter 6

Chapter

Logan knew I loved him, and he knew I would do everything for him, and he definitely knew that the best way to get back at me was to keep me close while reminding me every day that he would never love me.

The day of our mateship was March 17th, but he always bought me flowers on February 17th–the day he and Isabel first crossed paths.

It was devastating. If only I could redo my past. If only I refrained my heart from loving him. If only.

After a year of mateship, I got pregnant, but Logan told me to get rid of the child. It was the biggest betrayal I had ever received in my life. I could not believe what I was hearing when I heard his plan. It almost drove me insane.

“You’re not worthy of carrying my pups.” Those were his exact words.

My world shattered- regrets, pain, anger, everything almost made my dying heart explode.

On the other hand, I didn’t want my baby to grow up in a loveless home, so I followed his orders and asked the pack healers to get rid of the baby inside me.

Who would have thought that after telling me to kill my child, he would use it as a weapon against me? The moment his parents found out about it, he betrayed me once again by lying. He claimed, “She did it all on her own. I had no clue.”

I knew back then that his parents, who used to see me as their own daughter, were furious, and since then, they have done nothing but look down on me. They pointed fingers and hurled insults, and as someone still reeling from a miscarriage, I didn’t have the strength to fight back. So, I just took it all in silence. I embraced everything… I cowered and cried myself to sleep afterward.

Logan sat beside me without saying a word, not even sparing me a glance.

Later on, I found out I was pregnant again. This time, I decided to play it smart and went straight to another healer.

When I came back, I showed him the written report from the healer outside the pack- and showed it before him.

And at that point, Logan lost it. He slammed the table, stood up, and yelled in my face, “What the hell did you do, woman? Why did you get rid of our child?

I shot back, “Am I worthy of carrying your pups now?”

He clenched his jaw and muttered, “What’s the point of arguing? The baby’s gone. You wench, I know you did this on purpose, didn’t you? So fucking cut the act and stop using the baby as a pawn to get sympathy from me.”

“Do you realize how sickening her behavior is?” Logan’s outbursts were heard all over the meeting room and left everyone in stunned silence. Some thought he was losing it

already, while others wondered what he would do next.

Meanwhile, Beta Dimitri looked tense, unsure what to say. Logan saw his reaction and suddenly burst out laughing, “Ha! I knew it was a setup!”

After that, he started shouting at the door, “Aurora, come out! Enough with this act, I know you’re just playing around!” He shouted my name countless times after that.

I smiled to myself. Unfortunately, this wasn’t an act, dear Alpha. It was real.

I saw how Dimitri rubbed his forehead, looking helpless. The poor man didn’t know how to handle the manchild Alpha they had. “If you don’t believe it, ask every pack healer we have. You’d recognize your Luna’s body, right?”

Upon hearing that, Logan’s smile faltered. He glanced around and saw everyone” s serious expressions. No one was joking. Not even one of them was countering what his Beta was saying.

He grabbed the written report that the pack healer had with him, it showed everything they had investigated about the victim’s body, and there he saw the bright red seal with the logo of Crimson Crescent Pack, one he’d seen countless times. There was no way it was fake.

Logan’s face went pale. He dropped the written report and bolted towards the room where my body was.
