Anna’s POV~

We headed out to the council building..after Falcon had arranged to get Alvin and his camp moved onto pack lands. We set them up in a set of five cabins ..four miles up from the border. Alvin opted to be sworn in so that a mind link could be available, in the event of an attack. It allowed my mate a bit of peace..and the way it’s looking..those are going to get harder to come by for awhile!

It is taking everything in my power right now not to bust a gut laughing! The amount of scrambling and ass kissing these wolves have done since we walked through the doors and the spotted Falcon is hilarious. I whispered “Did you like kill somebody’s mother in the lobby here? The way they’re all acting.. they’re terrified you’ve set sights on them!” He smirks “They just know if I’m walking in.. someone is going out. I have earned my ‘don’t fuck with me’ personality!” And I did laugh then!

Brady says “Wait till you see Henderson’s face when he spots us! Falcon almost made him piss his pants last time.. time before he had him crying! Good times!”

Everett Crockett met us in the communal hall “Falcon!! You didn’t let me know you were coming!” And Falcon grinned “For a reason.. my friend.. for a reason! Don’t panic on me now… But you will notice a tablet in Axel’s hands, and a laptop/notebook in my lovely mate’s hands.. There’s a purpose behind it.. All your servers are temporarily controlled by me. Access has been denied to your personnel until you have been able to review the information we have uncovered.. Shall we go to your office?” Everett nodded “Of course… let me grab Henderson..” and Falcon shook his head “Not yet! His computer is one you will want to review first.. then we will continue on to payments and acquisition.. you are about to have a really bad day!”

Getting everyone situated, I asked Everett “Would you mind if I mirrored my notebook to your desktop monitor? I would like to show you Henderson’s emails first.. then play phone recordings from his office.. Afterwards, Axel will walk you through payments.. and the forged contracts we found in acquisition. There have been several assassinations of lone wolves over the last two years, that were council ordered by your second-in-command.. and I am about to provide proof”

He sat with a stunned gaping look then asked “I’m sorry. Who are you?” I smiled “I am so sorry! My name is AnnaBelle Berlin-Rivera. Pleased to meet you!” He looked shocked! “Berlin? As in Malachai Berlin? My investigators told me all of Silver Blade had been wiped out” and Falcon jumped in.. “They were. However, four months before the attack, Malachai had made arrangements with me for sanctuary for his only child.. it was his contingent against the attack he knew was imminent. I granted sanctuary.. to discover this beautiful woman is my mate! We have since discovered one Emmett Culver is the man responsible for the decimation of not only Silver Blade.. but Flaming Rose as well as, three other packs.. in collusion with Nathan Henry, of Hunter’s Glen. As you can see.. by the email on Henderson’s computer.. Cyrus Culver.. the father of Emmett… has created a weapon.. potentially deadly to all wolves.. with the exception of my pack.. but that is a story for later. Right now, you have extensive corruption within your ranks.. and as enforcer.. I am here to help you rectify that. If you look out your window.. you will see 150 of my finest standing ready…and council headquarters is essentially on lockdown. Pending your order.”

He slams himself backwards in his chair.. “FUCK ME! I’m too old for this shit, Falcon! I have to notify the king! On your advice.. do I do that now? Or do I wait to see how far down the rabbit hole this leads?” Anna speaks up “I believe it is in your best interest.. to wait.. until you, at least know all the bugs in your house before you call on yhe exterminators.” He chuckled a little and said “You are definitely from the south..even without the accent.. your colloquialisms are spot on!” And everyone laughed…which broke the tension in the room…

After another hour of reading emails and hearing recordings…Everett says “Let’s call in Henderson” and Falcon nodded his head. Within minutes, the man in question walked in demanding to know the meaning of this and Everett told him to take a seat. Henderson looked around the room.. his eyes narrowing on me.. I smiled “Yes! I am who you think I am..the daughter of the great and wonderful Alpha you conspired to have murdered! You should be so proud of your life choices, right about now! The shame.. the humiliation, you have heaped upon yourself.. your pack.. your family’s legacy! I imagine your son will excommunicate you soon.. making you a lone wolf.. May want to pray to the Goddess that your successor doesn’t see fit to hire hunters to murder you.. out of hand!”

Falcon asks “I am curious.. why the Beckers? Why that she-wolf? What threat did she invoke…gathering wild raspberries to make dessert for her family? Why Roberta Becker?” Everett said “Roberta? Jonathan Henderson! Roberta? The mate you rejected twenty years ago? Why? Why would you do that!!?”

Henderson decided to play it dumb “I have no idea what you’re talking about! Why am I being accused of something so heinous? I am a senior officer of the council! To accuse me of such bullshit is treason!” And Anna snapped “To commit something so heinous is morally corrupt! Treason? You had your Goddess given mate murdered! To what fucking purpose? You rejected her! You murdered her.. killed her only son.. leaving a man to grieve half his family with no answers! And when he applied for the council’s reparation fees.. he was denied! He has literally struggled to feed his twin girls for months! And for what!? Ahhh… You didn’t know she had other children! You thought her death.. the death of her son would kill her mate! Holy fuck Dude! Your soul is going to hell!”

He jumped up and screamed “You know nothing! None of you! How dare she be happy?!? How dare she find love?! The mate forced upon me by my father is an unbearable shrew! Making my life miserable at every turn! Raising our only son to be as reprehensible as her father! You don’t get to judge me! I have lost everything! My wolf is gone! Just let himself wither and die! My son has my pack! And MY mate moved on.. found love.. had a happy family?! Fuck that! Fuck her! And Fuck You!” And Falcon laid him out! One direct punch to the center of his face! Dropped him like a stone! And I lost it! I laughed so hard! I linked Falcon 🐺 Good Times! And he laughed!

Everett sneers “There’s my first arrest warrant! You were right! I am about to have a very bad day! So, I may as well start drafting warrants. Jonathan first… Emmett and Cyrus Culver. I am issuing a command to my enforcer unit.. a KOS order for one Nathan Henry! Effective immediately. A recompense will also be drafted and sent to Alvin Becker.. hopefully, we have an address on file”

Falcon smiles “Address it in care of Amber Mountain. He is a member of my pack now! We felt it was in his best interest to become pack.. any kill order issued on him as a lone wolf, is now null and void!” Everett just shhok his head “Well, aren’t you just full of happy little surprises today!!?” And we all laughed!
