Chapter 69
Chapter 69
Finn had been with the company for several years, taking on numerous large–scale projects.
While each project initially seemed promising due to his connections, they all ended in failure, Equipment failures, delivery mishaps, and safety incidents led to project shutdowns.
Despite the massive upfront investments, the projects resulted in losses, and the company often had to pay penalties for failing to deliver.
It was difficult to pin the blame on Finn as he was only responsible for the initial introductions and not the actual signing of contracts
Consequently, when projects failed, the issues were often attributed to internal problems within the company rather than Finn’s involvement. Several project accounts showed significant defirits.
The anonymous email comained nothing but details of the projects Finn had been involved in
Ella was shocked and terrified after reading it. If Finn truly had ulterior motives, it was clear he intended to bring down the Willow Group,
She had been the one to recruit and promote hum, giving him significant power within the company. If she had facilitated this, how could she face her grandfathert
Another troubling question emerged. Who had access to the company’s internal financial records? Was it someone who disliked Finn or an
outsider?
Regardless, she needed i
Ito find this person and talk to them, as they might have more evidence of Finn’s actions.

Distrusting anyone else, she called Jenny, remembering that Jenny had a foreign senior who was a computer science graduate and a top hacker despite his young age. Jenny, understanding the gravity of the situation, immediately assured Ella of her help
“Don’t worry, I’ve got this covered Jenny said confidently.
“Thank you, then.” Ella said..
“No need to thank
- me. We’re best friends, Jenny said.
“Alright, I won’t stand on ceremony then. Let’s have pizza after this is over,” Ella said.
“Great” Jenny said
Meanwhile, in Jaden’s room, Hank called and said, “Sir, it’s done. Ms. Willow is now aware of Finn’s true colors.”
Finn’s car accident was genuine. However, when he went to get money, the overseas partner the Willow Group’s senior executives had been counting suddenly requested a video meeting to review the company’s assets. This caused the executives to be overwhelmed and miss Ella’s call for help
With Finn’s accident cutting off her last hope, Ella was left stranded. If Jaden hadn’t arrived in time, no one knew what might have happened.
Finn distanced himself from the fallout, and while others might be deceived, Jaden, who had been investigating the Willow Group, was fully aware of Finn’s underhanded tactics
He felt it necessary to alert Ella. Moreover, Finn’s increasingly blatant hostility towards him was becoming evident.
Ella had been busy with company matters but finally found time to work on her fashion design project.
The subsidiary, under Denison Group, was named “Jaden“.
They started from a small studio, striving to break through the national borders and move towards international recognition, making foreigners also begin to admire domestic brands!.
Yale became her top assistant, handling miscellaneous tasks, including hiring designers, assistants, cleaners, and receptionists, as well as overseel the interior design of the studio.
Though she felt like she was tricking him into a burdensome task, Yale was enthusiastic, working tirelessly
A month and a half had passed, and Ella finally had time to inspect the office.
Everyone was in place, performing their duties. Ella’s office was particularly bright and spacious, with a large floor–to–ceiling window next to a bookshelf filled with the latest fashion trends and information.
Yale was discussing something seriously with the staff, already showing signs of becoming a great designer.
“Look, that’s Lucia! She’s so beautiful!” someone exclaimed.

Yale turned and saw Ella, immediately turning mure and bhishing deeply
Yale said, “Ms. Willow.”
Ella asked, “You were late!”
Yale said. “No, no… Ms. Willow.
Ella asked, “Did you s
stutter the hra time we met? I don’t remember that
Yale wished he could slap himself. Talking to such a beautiful lady was very stressful.
Ella said. “Are you free? Let’s go to the market. New products from major brands are out, we should take a look.”
Yale nodded eagerly, and they left together. At a brand store, the sales assistants greeted them warmly, knowing Ella was a valued customer.
Ella said. “This bag is nice. This summer outfit looks good, the crocodile skin belt is a great touch. These shoes look good, they match that bag. I
take them!”
Ella made her purchases. Vale felt he was there to carry bags rather than evaluate the products. Ella didn’t hesitate while shopping
“What do you think?“ Ella said
“You’re rich,” Yale said.

Ella rolled her eyes and said. “I know that I meant what do y
o you think of the new products.”
They seem to have a vintage feel” Yale said,
“Not bad. Do you know our next steps then? I predict vintage caramel colors will be hot this fall…” She continued to explain her vision, leaving Yale in awe.
“Take the
items to the car. I’ll look around some more,” Ella said.
Yale nodded obediently and carried the bags, but ran into his old friend Foster Donaldson at the exca
escalator.
Foster had changed a lot, now wearing a suit and shiny shoes, carrying a briefcase, with two subordinates following him.
Yale, bent under the weight of the bags and dressed plainly, looked like a lowly worker in comparison
Fister greeted him with a smile and said, “Why and
are you carrying so much stum?”
Yale said. “My boss bought it. I’m taking it to the car”
Foster said, “Isn’t she treating you like an errand boy? You’re a designer, you shouldn’t be doing such menial tasks. Corne on, help him out.” Foster gestured to his subordinates, who immediately took the bags for Yale.
Foster put an arm around Yale’s shoulders and said, “What have you been up to this past month?”
Yale said. “Renovating the office, buying furnishings, hiring staff..”
Foster asked. “Nothing serious?”
Yale said, “I just went shopping with my boss. She took me
Foster interrupted him, “You haven’t done any real work? That’s wasting your talent. Did you get a raise?”
Yale said, “No, it’s still the same.”
Foster said, “I’m making twenty thousand dollars now, Want to work with me?
“No, thanks. I signed a labor contract,” Yale said.
“You’re too stubborn” Foster said.
After escorting Yale to the underground parking lot, Foster turned away with a cold smile and said, “Just a lackey. I used to see you as a rival, but you’re not worth it. Give me some time, and 11) shine in the design world.”
Yale was waiting by the car when Ella arrived.
Ella asked, “I saw your classmate. What did you talk about?
Yale, honest as always, told her everything.
