Don’t Look Back I Won’t Continue to Love You Here by Lychee Jackfruit

Chapter 8

Chapter 8

As soon as I walked out of the cemetery, I called the police. Then, I called the mayor’s hotline to

complain about the cemetery manager.

When I met Timothy and Mia at the police station the next day, Timothy looked hurt.

“Evie, do we have to do this?

“I know it was our fault, but the mistake has been made, and we have already apologized. What else do

you want?

“Will you only feel better if I go to jail? Are you really so cruel?”

“I’m cruel?” I sneered in my heart.

I looked at him and refuted,

“Didn’t you go so far as to dig up my grandfather’s grave?” Timothy’s expression froze, his eyes filled with disbelief.

“So you are taking revenge on me now?”

“Timothy, how could you blame me?

Isn’t it you who forced me to do all this?

Our relationship was doomed from the moment you escaped from our wedding and obtained the marriage certificate with Mia.” I thought.

“Timothy, you are such a self–centered, selfish, and conceited man. You don’t deserve to be loved at

all!

“I will sever our relationship myself!”

Timothy scratched his head impatiently and took a few deep breaths.

“Evie, what can I do to calm yoù down?

“I told you that I won’t abandon you. I just need some time. Can you please stop being unreasonable?

“I admit that I made a mistake, and I’m sorry. Are you happy now?”

I never thought of looking back from the moment my grandpa closed his eyes.

Giving up a relationship that had lasted for ten years would hurt a lot, but I didn’t regret it.

“Timothy, I don’t need your apology. I just want justice!

“I won’t accept mediation today!”
