Betrayed by My Pack – Wolfless Hybrids Escape

Chapter 80 –

Kevin's POV Monday Afternoon

I knew that Kylie was trying to mask her desire to hurt Luna under the guise of sparring for training purposes. Liam had mind-linked me everything. I already knew she would try, but I had to work, and Casey wanted to stay back with our parents. I had my ranked wolves looking out for Luna, but I had walked up right after the sparring match began. Luna didn't need their help. Kylie never even noticed that Luna was wearing her down until it was way too late.

My beautiful mate stood there, looking down at Kylie. I could tell that Luna was trying to control her anger at what Kylie had just done. "Attention! This chapter belongs to Jobb.. If you're seeing this elsewhere, you've found a copycat. For fresh, authentic content, come to ob. directly. We appreciate your support and know our true fans will enjoy the original content with us."Kylie had gone way too far trying to kill her Luna here in front of everyone. I had already decided I was going to transfer her to Blood Tracker. She was banished from Black Moon. I just needed to complete the paperwork. I won't allow her to return here again.

I knew what Kylie's real aim had been. She wanted to test the water to see if she could beat Luna. She was going to challenge her to a match for the Luna position. I would never allow that to happen. We had done away with that archaic way of thinking in our pack. The Werewolf Council will sometimes allow it if an Alpha petitions for it. I was not going to go along with it. I want my mate. I only want Luna. She is all that I desire. I have never been interested in Kylie. I won't allow her to take Luna's Goddess-given position, not in the pack or in my heart. I had already mind-linked Trevor to ask him to do this favor for me. I was already running here before their match started when Liam told me what was happening out here. Originally, I was going to put a stop to it. I knew that Kylie was testing Luna's strength by conning her into this match. It was no secret that Kylie still wanted to be my Luna despite me finding my mate. She knew better than that, as I would not take a chosen mate. My parents warned me not to do that. They wanted me to find my true mate. I did, too, as I wanted a love to last a lifetime. My parents cared greatly for each other, but their love for their current true mates was much deeper than what they had together. They both told me to wait for my mate, and I am so glad I did. My beautiful mate stood there, almost daring Kylie to get up. I knew that Kylie wouldn't be getting up without assistance. Luna kicked her several feet away, and that blow had hurt Kylie a great deal. I heard a vehicle coming. I was glad that I had told the gate guards that Trevor and his men were coming.

I am not sending Kylie to my hospital. I want her out of here right now. She can go to the hospital at Trevor's pack. I already told him that if she gives him any problems at all, he can also banish her. I won't allow her to cause him any issues. I was done with her. She has gone too far today, and we all saw her try to kill her Luna. I was glad that Liam had recorded the whole thing, as that would be more than enough evidence for the Werewolf Council.

I was covering all my bases so she couldn't come after me or Luna. I was so angry that I didn't even realize that I was shaking. I wanted to end Kylie for pulling this underhanded trick. I am so glad it backfired on her so spectacularly. I can think of no one else so deserving of this outcome. Kylie was moaning even louder in pain as soon as she saw me step out of the crows and walk forward. I knew what had happened, but Kylie didn't know that.

"Luna, are you OK?" I asked as I walked up and kissed her temple. My mate is the most wonderful woman that I have ever met. I love her even more than I love my mother, who was previously my number one. My mother had saved me from Graham and my father, and I owed her my life. My mother will always hold a special place in my heart.

Luna turned towards me and gave me a hug. She sensed how upset I was and wanted to comfort me. "I am fine, Kevin, but your warrior here needs some help," Luna told me.

"We were only sparring for training purposes, Kevin. The Luna intentionally hurt me," Kylie ground out as she tried to get my attention. She was lying there naked, and I was not going to turn around to look at her. That would be giving her what she wants: attention.

"I was here, Kylie. I saw the whole thing. You attempted to kill your Luna. That is punishable by death. I personally think that Luna went too easy on you, but I plan on making sure you get everything that is coming to you," I told Kylie.

I pressed another kiss to Luna's temple. I was so frightened for her when Liam told me what Kylie was doing. Kylie is known for not fighting fair, but she has never gone as far as she did today ever before. I was disgusted by her actions, but Luna had anticipated Kylie to do just what she had done: cheat. Liam had told me that he reminded Kylie not to phase several times. He even warned her again after she phased that she needed to stop. She didn't care then because she had been humiliated in front of so many.

Kylie had done this for years to others. Pushing them into doing her bidding. Telling others that she was going to be the Luna. That was happening even before I came back here to Black Moon. She had originally been after my older brother, Forest, at that time. It showed that she had

no real love for either one of us. The love she had was only for the title and nothing else. She wasn't alone in wanting that title. There were more of them in the pack, not just my pack but most packs.

She-wolves were willing to do anything to become the Luna of a pack. I gave Kim and her cohorts a pointed look. I wanted to make sure they were there as the vehicles were now pulling up. I wanted them to see what was about to happen.

"Kylie, you deliberately attempted to kill your Luna. Along with it being an unforgivable act, it was also an act of treason against your Luna. Instead of invoking the death penalty, I have decided to banish you. You are no longer allowed to stay on Black Moon pack land. Andrew, will you please help escort Kylie to her home and help her pack? She needs to be off my land in forty-five minutes. Is anyone willing to help her pack?" I requested the group in a cold tone.

A hand rose in the crowd, and a shy she-wolf named Elizabeth stepped forward. I had heard from Liam that Kylie had started all this by yelling at Elizabeth. This was only the third training for Elizabeth, as she had not wanted to train before, but she had just turned eighteen. She couldn't avoid it anymore. She had to train now. Kylie was obviously trying to push Luna into defending her, as Luna was a gentle soul. After seeing her in action today, I was seriously impressed. Luna was a powerhouse. She wasn't intimidated by anyone here. She had been glaring at Kylie but had calmed down when she heard that I was banishing her from Black Moon.

"She isn't your Luna yet, Kevin. Your ceremony isn't until Thursday night. This isn't fair. My parents will be upset if you do this. You need to think before you make a terrible mistake," Kylie whimpered, trying to garner sympathy.

"She Is my Luna. The ceremony is just a formality. You knew the moment I announced it at the town hall, yet you still attempted to kill her. You are very lucky I don't tear your neck open and let you bleed out here like you intended my Luna to do. I am only giving you the banishment because of your parents and no other reason. I would have preferred to kill you myself, but your parents have been loyal members of the pack their whole lives. I will allow them to stay here, and go and visit you there. I will also understand and approve their transfer if they want to accompany you. I didn't do anything wrong, and neither did Luna. This was all you today, and you need to accept the blame for it," I announced.

I don't think I have ever been as afraid as I was five minutes ago when Kylie tried to kill Luna. I felt helpless as Luna evaded Kylie's sharp teeth and then took care of Kylie all on her own. I didn't even have time to call out in warning. I wanted to protect and shield my Luna from harm, yet she just showed me that she doesn't need to be rescued. She is highly capable of dealing with whatever comes her way. My pack members were lining up to congratulate and welcome her to our pack. Some of them had listened to the rumors about Luna and had held back. But they were all enthralled with her now.

I didn't think it was possible for me to love Luna any more than I already did, but I was wrong. I have never been so proud of my mate. My pack members were all around us as they waited patiently to introduce themselves. She had won over several of them before, but she had won all of them over now. I knew that Kim might want to give her a problem before, but now they are in the same line to greet her and thank her for putting Kylie in her place.

I felt bad, as clearly Kylie had gotten away with too much. I was going to make sure that didn't happen again. I will do another town hall soon. I will make Luna the head of the committee to ensure no one else gets bullied in my pack. This wasn't an isolated incident. Kylie had clearly been doing this for years but had been running under my radar to this point. I will ensure everyone knows that we will set up a tipline if people are too scared to come forward. I know that Luna will have our straightened out soon. She hates bullying as much as I do. Her sister suffered from bullying in their last pack; Luna won't allow it to happen here.

We watched Kylie get packed up and loaded into the back of an old ambulance that we shared between our two packs. She was pissed off and probably not going to let this go. I briefly wondered if I should just end her now to prevent any further issues, but Luna could feel what I was thinking.

"It is fine, Babe. If she comes back, I will make sure to deal with her quickly. I was playing with her this time, but I won't be next time. If she comes back to Black Moon. I will not hesitate to kill her," Luna told me in a serious tone."Good, I have no problem at all with you doing that. Let's go get you cleaned up," I told her as we headed back hand-in-hand to our apartment.
