Chapter 9
The next day, Ava ignored everyone in her house and was still pissed about recent events. She decides to let Serena know about her werewolf nature after school that day.
“So, you change when the moon is full?” Serena was suddenly curious.
“Nope. I can change pretty much whenever” Ava replied.
“What about silver?” Serena questions.
“Deadly to werewolves.” Ava answered, “They say there were high amounts of silver in Henry’s body.”
Serena looked at Ava.
“Yes, I am.” Ava retorted.
“When did you shift? Serena asked momentarily.
“I shifted the second in the hospital,” Ava announced.
Serena was done asking questions but still curious if her friend can turn people. She kept that part to herself. It would only make her seem desperate.
They walked over to Turbo Grill. Both girls saw some familiar faces. Walking to the corner where Margo sat. Margo was busy working on homework when she looked up at the teenage girls. Then asked,” Can I help you?”
“I think you can,” Ava interjected.
“What if I change my mind?” Margo retorted.
“You might want to know what I am going to say. It does involve both of us okay. Being what we are.” Ava was getting annoyed.
“Okay. But I have to do.” Margo sighed, “What is it?”
“You were right about my father being a hunter. My parents never told me anything. I overheard my brother and my mother talking about it. I don’t feel safe. Thinking only because of being a werewolf.” Ava rambling.
“Wait, hold up. Did you say you’re a werewolf? “Margo suddenly confused.
“Yes. I am” Ava said.
“Why would a family of hunters adopt a werewolf?” Margo curiously asked.
“I don’t know. I will find out?” Ava sadly replied.
Margo went back to doing her work and signaled the girls it was time to go. Ava knew she had questions her parents won’t answer. She will get it elsewhere. Serena went home.
At the house, Ava was looking through the mail. She found a weird address written on the back. Curious, so she opened it. It read:
Dear Miss Ava Rose Diggs
You are hereby summoned by the Head of Council. You must not be late.”
Truly

Ava was confused. She was wondering who the hell was Ava Rose Diggs. It certainly was not her name. Ava didn’t know what to do but she would have to ask someone about who she is.
After doing some cleaning in her dads' office, Ava was looking around for anything of her. Not looking at the lower drawers one was locked. Luckily, Ava knows how to pick locks. Ava saw all this important paperwork on everyone in the files. She notices one with her name on it. Taking it out and saw the birth certificate with Ava Rose Diggs on the paper.
Thinking to herself about what was going on here. She knew about keeping this to herself. Ava stole the files from her and locked the drawer again.
In her room, Ava had the folder spread out on her bed. She was confused about everything more than ever. Wandering who was she or where was she from.? It was starting to scare me. Ava feels her entire life was a lie.
“Who am I?” Ava asked out loud to herself.
