Chapter 123
Chapter 123
William’s P.O.V.
“Who saw her first?” I asked his guards while looking at the girl lying on the ground completely unconscious. I could tell that her all injuries were severe, and she was in urgent need of medical help.
“I saw her first, Alpha. We detected the presence of rogue a little far away from the border inside the forest. We tried to get their location and found that they came towards the border but soon diverted their direction far away from us. Their movements were quick as if they were chasing something,” one of the guards answered me truthfully.
“What you want to do, William? She needs urgent medical help,” Vincent said to me in a worried tone. “Do you also feel a sense of familiarity towards her?” I asked him through mind–link as I didn’t want to voice out my thoughts..
“You felt too?” he asked me through mind–link in a surprised tone. I took a deep breath to calm my furiously beating heart. I didn’t know why but I felt that I would lose something very dear to me if I don’t help this girl.
“Call–Ethan, and tell her to ready a medical team,” I instructed Vincent in a calm and firm tone and went to the girl lying in front of me. She was thin and skinny. It was clear that she was malnourished. It was a common thing for a rogue but somehow the fact made me feel heartache once again.
“Bro……brother.” Suddenly Vincent called me in panic. I was thinking about how to pull the girl up as her whole b*dy was covered with serious wounds and due to a frail b*dy, I felt that her broken bones would break more if anyone put even a little pressure on her b*dy.
“Sh… she is not breathing… sh… she h.. has no heartbeat,” Vincent continued in the same tone but my heart skipped a beat and I immediately put my finger under her nose. I gulped hard in fear when I felt nothing on my finger.
“Her heart also stopped. Do something William.” My wolf, Aero, also screamed in the back of my mind in panic. Without wasting a second, I immediately sl*pped my hands under her n*eck and knees and pulled her up in my embrace in bridal style. She was lighter than a feather.
I started running at my full speed, and Aero also gave me his strength. I knew that Vincent was right behind me. “Did you also feel a connection with her?” I

asked Aero in an anxious tone while running towards the pack hospital.
“I shouldn’t say this but yes… I did feel a connection, and the strange thing is that this is very similar to our connection with Crystal and Luna,” he answered me in a very confused tone. I knew what he said was right because this was the same thing that I felt too. She was surely not related to us by any means, but something was confusing here.
“Alpha… Put her here,” Ethan said to me in a hurried tone while stopping a stretcher in front of me. “She is not breathing, and her heart has also stopped beating. You have to save her, Ethan….. at any cost,” I told Ethan in a hurried tone while putting her frail and wounded b*dy on the stretcher. I was cautious, but I still felt that I was holding on with a little pressure in my
embrace.
He nodded and immediately instructed the staff to start CPR. I stepped aside while looking at them anxiously. Vincent was now standing beside me a little far away from them. We both were panting heavily as we covered a distance of almost 10 kilometres only in 3 minutes maximum.
“Who is she, William? Why am I scared that something will happen to me if she dies?” Vincent asked me in a panicked tone. I couldn’t answer him because this was the same feeling that I was having right now. Only Crystal could make us feel like this.
At the same time, I felt a pressure at the back of my mind as if someone was trying to mind–link me. I opened the mind–link for that person and my mother’s echoed at the back of my mind. “Where are you? Theo just called you and asked you to call him back as soon as possible,” she told me in a panicked tone.
I raised my brows and looked at Vincent, who was now biting his nails anxiously while having his eyes glued to that girl. “I am in the hospital, mom….. Please send my phone with someone,” I requested my mother through mind- link.
“Hospital? What happened? Are you injured?” she asked me so many questions in a row in panic. I groaned while rolling my eyes. “We are fine, mom…. Nothing happened to us. Just send my phone here,” I answered her
annoyingly, suppressing my annoyance in my voice. She was our mother, and her concern was genuine.

She just huffed before cutting off the mind–link. “What happened?” Vincent asked me at the same time. “Nothing… Mom mind–linked me,” I told him, and once again I looked at the medical team. I took a deep breath when I saw Ethan covering that girl’s nose with an oxygen mask. We immediately walked to him.
“Is she alright now?” I asked him in a worried tone. Ethan didn’t look at me as he was still treating that rogue girl. “We managed to revive her, Alpha, but …. I … I can’t say if we manage to save her,” he answered me in a bit worried tone.
“What did you mean by you can’t say….. you have to save her,” Vincent yelled at him angrily. Ethan’s shoulders moved up and down but his hands didn’t stop. “I will try my best, Vincent…. Let’s pray to the Moon Goddess for her,” he answered Vincent in the same monotonous tone. After that, he instructed the staff to take the girl to the operating room.
“Vincent,” I called him after the door of the OR closed. “Yeah,” he answered me in a daze this time. “Go and investigate what exactly happened there. It was sure that those rogues were chasing her, but by the condition of her b*dy, I could say that she couldn’t run for long. She must be hiding or being imprisoned somewhere near us. Go and find whatever you can find in this matter,” I instructed him in a cold tone.
“Okay…. But you keep updating me about her condition,” he affirmed my command but also instructed me in the end. I just hummed in response, and after that, he walked away. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. My upper b*dy was covered with her blood. It was still racking with the rogue’s scent. I hated this scent from the bottom of my heart
I decided to talk to her and accept her as a member of this pack after she wakes up. She couldn’t die. I was still confused about why both I and Vincent felt a connection with her. It was more like a bond between a brother and a
sister. I knew
y that my parents didn’t have any other child after Vincent, and Crystal was not our biological sister. Yet this feeling was rather suffocating.
“Alpha.” I came out of my thoughts when someone called my name. I looked at the
person and found Bruce standing in front of me with my phone in his hand. “Thanks, Bruce.” I thanked him while taking my phone from him. He just smiled and bowed a little in front of me before going back,
took a deep breath and tried to clear my mind before calling Theo. “You need to talk Adam, William. This is about Crystal,” Theo said as soon as he

picked up the call. “What? What happened to Crystal?” I asked him in panic.
“I don’t know what’s going on with her, William. All I know is that her nightmares are still haunting her. Now she had an episode when we were about to enter the car to go to the Royal Palace. She is now unconscious,” he explained to me in an irritating tone. I could feel his irritation. This was about not able to help your mate when she was in dire need of help. We were both in the same boat.
“So what do you want from Adam? How can he help in this matter?” I asked him in a calm tone this time. I knew about those nightmares. They should be gone after we found the queen. So why the hell they come back?
“It’s our queen who suggested that Adam can use his vampire’s ability to enter Crystal’s nightmare and find who is calling her for help?” he answered me in the same tone but he was calmer this time. I narrowed my eyes while looking towards the closed door of OR. Calling for help??????
“Yeah… things are very complicated and I can’t explain them to you over the call. Call Adam and ask him to come to the Royal Palace as soon as possible. If possible for you… please come too with Vincent.” He requested it in the end.
“There is no need to say this, Theo. It’s about Crystal. Of course, I will be there, even if you don’t ask. I… I have something to take care of and after that, I will leave for the Royal Palace as soon as possible. “I am calling Adam first,” I said to him in a firm tone, still having my eyes on that closed door. What exactly is going on now?
