Chapter 112 

Crystal’s P.O.V. 

“We have cleaned her blood, but she will take time to heal properly,” the doctor told me about Mom Elena, and I took a deep breath of relief while patting my chest. “She will survive, right?” I asked Albert and he smiled while nodding in agreement. 

“Due to wolfsbane, her other wounds are also healing at a very slow pace, but there is nothing to worry about now,” he told me and a small smile appeared on my l*ps. “What about Mom Martha?” Theo asked him in a worried tone, and I narrowed my eyes in confusion. 

“What happened to her? You didn’t tell me that she is injured too?” I asked him immediately, and he tightened his grip on my shoulder. “I told you that she is lightly injured, but Dad just mind linked me and said that Dad Warrick is not able to mind link Mom. She is also not here,” he told me, and my heart skipped a beat in fear. 

I immediately looked at Albert with worry. My heart almost stopped beating when I saw a stiff expression on his l*ps. “What are you hiding, Albert?” I asked Albert in a fearful tone. He took a deep breath and looked at Theo first. 

“Your mother is a strong woman, Luna. She… She is also badly injured and has more wolfsbane in her system than Luna Elena. Yet she managed to bring Luna Elena here. She collapsed after reaching here,” he answered me, and I gasped aloud. 

“And you are telling us this now?” Theo asked him in an angry tone. “I am sorry, Alpha, but she used her beta tone to command me. She is a strong beta female, and… and to my surprise, I… I was not able to refuse her command even when she is not a part of our p collapsed in Theo’s embrace. 

Albert replied to Theo, and I almost 

“Where is she?” I asked him in a cracked tone. “She…. She is in ICU,” he answered me but his voice went one octave low in the end. I gasped again and put my hands on my mouth while widening my eyes in horror. 

“Crystal.” I gulped hard in fear but didn’t look at Dad Warrick when he called me. Theo’s grip was still tight on my shoulder as I was in his side embrace now. Tears were now streaming down my eyes like a waterfall.

Chapter 112 

“Where is Martha?” Dad Warrick asked me in a fearful tone as soon as he stopped behind us. Theo slowly moved towards them, making me move with him in the process. “She is in ICU, Dad….. She… she hid her injuries,” Theo answered him, and a loud sob escaped from my mouth. 

“Ca…can I see her?” Dad asked Albert in an anxious tone. Pain of losing your mate is the worst pain in this world, and I didn’t want my father to experience that pain. “Yes, Beta Warrick… please come with me,” Albert answered him in a low and cautious tone. 

We all followed him. I was already feeling weakness, and this news had made me feel so exhausted and broken. Theo was still holding me tightly. “Come here, Crystal,” Dad asked me in a stern tone when we reached the door of the ICU. 

I slowly moved away from Theo and went to my father. He put his hands on my shoulders and squeezed them lightly. “Look at me, Crystal,” he asked me in the same tone, but there was a light gentleness in his tone. I blinked hard to get rid off the tears, and lifted my head up. 

“Do you want her to be sad in this condition, huh?” he asked me in a gentle tone this time. I immediately shook my head negatively while pursing my l*ps into a thin line. “She is a strong woman, love. And we need to stay strong for her. She endured all the pain so that we couldn’t worry about her. We have to assure her that we are okay, and she will be okay soon,” Dad comforted me in the same tone. 

I whimpered and hugged him immediately. Everyone said that I was a strong girl, but I was not. I was just a daughter whose mother was on her deathbed right now, and she couldn’t do anything to save her mother. 

I felt dizzy because of all the crying. Dad tightened his grip on me when my knees go soft, and I almost limped in his embrace. “I got you, honey… you are not alone… you are not alone…. we are together in this,” Dad said to me in a gentle tone while holding me tightly. 

“I need to take her to the dungeons. She needs to drink,” Theo told them, but I wasn’t in the right state of mind due to dizziness. “Where is Adam?” Dad asked Theo immediately. William was with us, and I could feel that he was also worried for our mother. “He is with Alpha Adrian. They are coming here too, Theo answered him again in a calm and firm tone.

“Okay… then take her to the dungeons first,” Dad instructed him, but I immediately shook my head negatively and slowly moved my head up. “I want to see Mom, first,” I requested in a choked tone. “She is unconscious and isn’t going to wake up soon, Crystal, but your condition is not good. Listen to me, and go with Theo,” Dad refused and instructed me. 

“Please, Dad… Just one glance, and… and I promise th.. that I will go after that,” I pleaded because I was desperate to see her. I wanted to assure them that they were not hiding anything from me and that she was still alive. Marcus was going to pay badly for what he did to my mothers. I would drain all his blood. He should feel the pain that my mothers had to endure because 

of him. 

“Let her, Dad. You know how stubborn she is,” William said this time. I kept on looking at my father with a pleading gaze. “But,” Dad protested, but paused. while looking at him helplessly. Within twenty–four hours, both my father and my brother endured the fear of losing their mates. What an irony that both my mother and my sister–in–law were in the ICU because of that bastard leach. 

“Is William’s mate also here?” I mind–linked Albert while glancing at him. I didn’t want anyone that I wanted to see William’s mate too. “Yes, Luna. She is in the next room,” he answered me through mind–link. “Okay…. What can I say now?” Dad gave up, and looked at me with a defeated look. 

I smiled this time, and looked at Albert. He nodded and opened the door for us. My father was still holding me tightly in his embrace and I was really glad. that he didn’t loosen his grip or else he would have thrown me to Theo so that he could take me away from here. I knew that I needed to drink some blood to get my strength back, but anything healthy would also do. 

To be honest, I didn’t have any to drink from them. I didn’t know how I and Adam could eat and drink normal food, but this was an advantage for us. We needed blood, but that wasn’t as important for us as it is for Vampires. We entered Mom’s room, and a loud whimper escaped from my l*ps. 

“Wh… why do they have so many tubes attached to her?” I asked Albert in a panic tone while trying to reach my mother, but my father didn’t let me go near her. He was afraid of losing her. This was the first time that I sensed fear in my father’s b*dy, and it was very difficult to endure. 

“She has more wolfsbane in her system than a normal wolf can endure, Luna. Her external injuries were also deep, and the presence of wolfsbane in her

I slowly released myself from my father’s embrace and looked at Albert. “How are the people whom we rescued from the coven?” I asked him in a light tone. He took a deep breath and looked at William first. 

He didn’t need to say a word because his expressions were enough to tell what he didn’t want to say. “O right!” Dad suddenly exclaimed and looked at William. “How is your mate? Where is she?” he asked William in a worried 

tone. 

William’s eyes filled with tears, making Theo hold him by his shoulder. At the same time, Alpha Adrian, and Adam entered the room. “How is Martha?” Alpha Adrian asked hurriedly, with a worried expression. 

We all looked in her direction once again. “What the hell?” Alpha Adrian exclaimed in shock, and I once again felt tears in my eyes. Alpha Adrian’s eyes widened in shock and his eyes were glued on Mom Martha. 

“She will be alright, Adrian,” Dad said to him in a weak voice this time. Alpha Adrian didn’t move even a muscle and stayed like a statue, still having his eyes on Mom Martha in the same state. 

Dad slowly approached him, and wrapped his hands around his shoulders, pulling him in his embrace. I whimpered and hid my face in Theo’s chest, making him wrap his hands around my torso. There was silence in the room, and it was suffocating.

rest,” Albert said in a low tone. I looked at Dad, who was still holding Alpha Adrian in his embrace. He slowly released Alpha Adrian from his embrace. He was trying to stay strong, but I could feel fear in his aura. The fear of losing hist 

mate…… 

“Let’s go, Dad,” I whispered to him. “Let him stay for a while,” Theo said to me, and I nodded in agreement. “Go… Go to her, Warrick. Sh… she needs you,” Alpha Adrian reacted this time and said to my father. Dad slowly walked to her and sat down on a stool near the bed. We all silently walked out of the room. 

“Did you see Luna Elena, Alpha Adrian?” Theo asked him in a calm tone when we stepped outside in the corridor. “Yeah… I… I am going back there… but why is Martha like this?” he asked Theo, but in a confused tone. 

I looked at Adam, who was still looking in the direction of the room where Mom was now resting. Theo told Alpha Adrian what happened to Mom Martha. “I am going to see William’s mate,” I said to Theo after he finished telling Alpha Adrian everything. 

“His mate????? When did he find his mate, and why is she here, in the hospital?” Alpha Adrian asked in a confused and panicked tone. William immediately moved in the other direction, having his back towards us. 

“We…. We rescued her from Marcus‘ dungeons… sh… she i.. is one of the blood bags,” Adam answered Alpha Adrian in a stiff and low tone. Alpha Adrian roared aloud in anger, shaking the whole building. “I will kill that leach.” He roared angrily. I heard a light whimper. I looked at William who still had his back towards us. 

“Let’s go, brother,” I whispered when Alpha Adrian calmed down a little. “I am coming with you,” he said but I shook my head negatively. “No… you go and check on the pack. You have so many things to take care of. I will be with you after seeing her,” I replied to him. He wanted to say something more but nodded only in the end. 

He then k*ssed my forehead gently. “Take care, and don’t exhaust yourself,” he whispered to me in a worried tone. I smiled and gave him a curt nod. He, then, left me with William. As the alpha of the pack, he had so many things to 

take care of. 

“Let’s go,” William said to me while taking me in his embrace. “I am not that fragile,” I frowned while shrinking my nose. “Yeah… that I know,” he said while 

tightening his grip on my shoulder. I wanted to move away, but he held me firmly in his side embrace. I sighed and continued walking with them.
