“Dr. Garcia” nessa called me from the nurses station “you look fantastic doc what’s the secret” she asked. Italia was right it’s been three months and I look fantastic I’m wearing size 6 you would never have thought that I was size 16 3 months ago. “ Nessa love you are always complementing me” I smiled at her “seriously you have lost so much weight and I’m loving this new you” she said “thank you nessa love” I said making my way up to my office. I finished early today because I had a parents evening at Hannah’s school which meant I had to pick up the boys and take them to grandpa Pedros house. I looked at my self in the mirror as a i changed out of my scrubs and into a pair of jeans and a shirt and some converses. I really did look good didn’t I. I ran out of the hospital trying to make it on time for the boys pick up time. After dropping them off at pedros house, I went back into the car my phone start to ring it was Samuel Thompson “ hey samuel what’s up?” I spoke into the phone “hi Evangelina it’s been 3 months and still nothing from James about the divorce so I’m going to have to hold the custody battle until you can get that divorce” he said. “He’s doing this on purpose I swear to you, he’s cooking up a storm I know it” I said “ let’s not get ahead of ourselves we are going to continue pushing for him to sign the papers in the meantime i just wanted to update you that’s all” Samuel said. “Thanks Samuel call me if anything changes okay” I said “ of course Evangelina you have a good evening now, bye”

“ bye” I replied. I hung up and took a breather before making my way to Hannah and Scarletts school.As I entered the school I could see Hannah surrounded by a group of teenagers. She was miss popular in year 10. Scarlett found it really hard at first to fit in but because of how popular Hannah was Scarlett became the it girl of her year. All the parents were sat with each other gossiping I went over to. Jasmin who was Rebeccas who was Hannah’s best friends mum. “Hey Jas, how have you been hun” I said sitting next to her. “I am exhausted I had the longest shift today” she replied Jas was a nurse at the same hospital I worked in “ tell me about it the new CEO has got us working our butts off am I right?” I frowned “yes he has but he’s so handsome if I wasn’t married I’d be all over that” she laughed “omg Mrs Bernard you dark horse” we laughed together for a bit. “Mummy let’s go Miss Richards from maths is waiting” Hannah said “okay girl I’m right behind you” I said grabbing my bag. “ I’ll see you later Jas” I said waving whilst trying to keep up with my daughter. “Mum couldn’t you have worn something a little bit more sexy I mean you are single now” Hannah said. “Hannah!... I’m not here to get a man I’m here to make sure you are getting good grades madam” I pushed her into the maths department. Scarlett was in fits “I mean she’s right mum dads moved on why can’t you” Scarlett laughed. “Me and your father are still not divorced so he isn’t moving on just yet” I replied.

When we reached Miss Richards room I felt my phone vibrate. After months James finally decided to call me during parents evening “seriously” I muttered. “Excuse me?” Miss Richards said. “Oh I’m so sorry I wasn’t talking about you Miss Richards” I quickly replied “shall we get started then?” She questioned. “By all means miss” I said. I quickly sat down before Miss Richards began yapping. My mind was elsewhere, why now? I mean why is James calling me now like seriously just sign the papers so that we can be done with each other. After what felt like hours we were done with maths Hannah has been doing really well in maths I’m so proud of her. “ okay off to Mr Mathias in English now mum” Hannah said dragging me across the hallway. “ you girls have got such long legs and your old mother here has short legs I can’t walk as fast as you” I pleaded for them to slow down. Before I knew it we were outside English “let’s go mum, I don’t wanna miss love island tonight” Hannah groaned. My phone buzzed 4 missed calls from Samuel and a voicemail from James this cant be good. I just wanted the meeting to finish after about and hour we were finished finally. “That’s was bloody long weren’t it girls” we laughed. We finally got to pedros house for dinner and to get the boys. The girls went into the living room to watch love island with Italia.
