18 - Chapter Eighteen - Forest Dawson's Point Of View
It was eight months ago that I proposed to Thanatos, he cried and said yes, he said he would marry me as many times as I needed for me to understand that we were forever together. I bought Five dozen roses for his dressing room for the wedding. I also had my father bring him a note that I wrote for him. the note said ~
Dear my soon to be husband Thanatos,
I can't wait for you to walk down the aisle towards me, I can't wait to exchange vows and to put a ring on your finger and give you my last name. I can't wait to see you, don't make me wait long, my beautiful husband.
Your husband, Forest.
The wedding would begin in less than half an hour, my father pulled me out of my dressing room after fixing my suit and walked me to the front and told me where to stand and wait for my lovely husband to be. I was just as worried as I had been when Than gave birth to our children and i couldn't push that worry away. I just wanted everything to be perfect for him. It all had to be perfect for him. There was no other way I would take it.
I looked at my boys who were sitting up at the front, they were both in cute little suits. Finally, I heard the wedding music begin to play and I saw the doors open up. Thanatos stepped out with his father, he was breathtaking, his eyes were on mine the whole time his father walked him to the altar. I could feel through our bond that every step he took was only making it grow stronger. He must have felt the same thing. When Thanatos met me at the altar we took each other's hands and waited for the preacher/ A council Alpha to begin speaking. His eyes were filled with so many emotions I was lost in all the feelings I felt for him. He was the best thing to happen to me.
* Dearly beloved, we have joined here to bear witness to the marriage of Thanatos and Forest, As they become one may we all feel the joy in the deepest parts of or hearts knowing that they will prosper and grow for now and forever, Forest your vows please”
I looked forest dead in the eyes and saw the tears rimming his eyes, my chest filled with pride in a few moments he would be my life-mate. "Thanatos, I offer you, my love, I offer you my strength, I offer you my weaknesses, I offer you my support, I offer you my loyalty, I offer you my faith For as long as we both shall live I will always be your life-mate. "Thanatos, do you take forest to be your life-mate?”
"1 do, now and forever"
" Thanatos, your vows please”
" Forest, I offer you, my love, I offer you my strength, I offer you my weaknesses, I offer you my support, I offer you my loyalty, I offer you my faith & For as long as we both shall live I will always be your life- mate.
" Forest do you take Thanatos to be your life-mate?"
"1 do, Now and For Many Forever's"
The rings were brought up by my little brother Atlas, he gave us the rings and sat back down. We exchanged rings.
" You may now kiss and join as life-mates”
Thanatos and I kissed and everyone cheered before we all cleared out and went to cut the wedding cake that was like fourteen tiers high and was made of many different cake flavours. Our boys were covered in cake and I watched as Emerald twins tried to feed Atlas cake but he refused with blush and ran off to hide. I clearly wasn't the only one to see it because Forest laughed and whispered that we would be going to that wedding next. I could see the way the twins followed my little brother, If i was seeing this my birth father definitely had to know about this, unless he just wasn't paying attention to this current event unfolding. I was, I wanted to see how far they would take this and to see if Atlas would accept their actions and so far he didn't he just walked away or shook them off. When I met Benji, I was pretty sure they were mates, I nodded at him and kept my mouth closed. This wasn't any of my business and I wasn't going to say a damn thing about it. After all, if they were mates then i was proud of them, they had someone they could love and care for. I wasn't totally thrilled they were my little brothers mates but the Moon goddess picked mates for a reason and who was I to go against the moon goddess.
