Alexis’ POV~

I’m standing here..listening to him berate me for something that was an accident…and trying not to get pissed…keyword ‘trying’

I remove my earphones from my ears..having turned my music off when I fell “Are you fucking kidding me right now? It was an accident! An easily rectifiable accident! I didn’t mean to bump into you…and I certainly wouldn’t have chosen to turn you into a 7’ tall bunny! My choice would have been a jackass! If you had even an ounce of a sense of humor you would have found it funny! But noooo..because it happened to the big bad Alpha… there’s no way that would be humorous! Tell me something…if it had happened to Cody, would you have found humor in that!!? That stick up your ass must’ve turned sideways!”

I turn to walk away and he grabs my arm to spin me around and I plant my feet, twisting my body, flipping him over my back and placing my foot on his chest! “Don’t touch me without my permission.” Walking into the back I tell Helena the Alpha wants to see Her!

I empty the vacuum cleaner of the powders I spilled and I hear him asking Helena what she can tell him about some girl…I don’t catch the name. I am listening and trying to tune out Arielle but she won’t stop giggling…and it makes me laugh. Then I hear Aunt Helena raise her voice saying she didn’t know…and I storm back to the front of the store. Blake is saying something about closing her down for immoral practices and how careless she is…and my aunt is in tears! I am livid!

“What the fuck is your deal!? Helena…go to the back…I will handle this. Now You! What is your problem?” He sneers “Your aunt sold love potions to this Girl!” Flashing a picture in my face from his phone.. I didn’t see it..he moved too fast “Andddd?” He stomps back and forth in front of the counter. “And I will shut her down! She is not allowed to practice black magic! Selling a potion to make people fall in love is wrong! I don’t love this girl! Up until two weeks ago, I thought of her as a sister! And now she’s all over me and I can’t make her stop!” I nod…looking at his two friends…and back at him.. “First of all…a love potion is not black magic. Next, that particular potion only lasts two hours.. in order for it to last longer, it has to be ingested every Two Hours! Third…the potion would only work if feelings are there…something to build on..an enhancement, if you will.. even if those feelings are merely lust! So if you fucked her, under the influence of the potion…you had to have wanted to fuck her anyway, and just hadn’t acted on it! Fourth! How dare you fucking come in here and threaten my aunt, after everything she has done for you and your pack! YOU have no authority to shut her down! And no proof of black magic.” I pull a book from under the counter…open it and point “If you Can read, you will find, this shop and My Aunt are under the protection of the council! She has been granted immunity from any persecution of any kind for her acts of kindness and devotion to not only the council..but the Monarchy! Your problem is with the person who willingly purchased a product for nefarious reasons! Now Leave!” He stormed out and Cody looked at me “I want to apologize for his actions. He’s going through some things!” I laughed and said “Yeah…becoming a bunny will do that to you!” He laughed and waved as he left.

I walk over and lock the door. Stepping into the back, I send a text to Max telling him Helena needs him. Then I pull her into my arms and tell her from now on, I deal with the customers and she works in the back. “I’m not letting any fucker come in this place and upset you like this again! Alpha or not, he best stop wearing his ass for a hat!” She was calming down when I heard a knock at the door and went to let Max in… I said “Take her home! Have her soak in a warm bath…then work your magic! She’s had a rough day!” He nods and runs to the back! Damn! What a day!

A bunny! A fucking bunny! Swear to Goddess! Had I known he was gonna act like such a prick….I would have made him wait on the antidote for a whole day! Big bad Alpha parading around his pack with bunny ears and tail! I giggled..wish I had taken a picture! Man! I hope his Beta did!

Hearing the bell above the door, I step to the front.. a pretty girl is standing there. “I need to speak to Helena.” I smile and tell her I’m her niece and she had to go home. “Maybe you can help me…I’m a regular customer and have need of more of her love potion.. I’ve run out.” Hmmm…so this is the girl… “I am so sorry! That product has been discontinued. We will no longer be selling it. You see…the local Alpha found out a girl he was sleeping with had been buying it in bulk and he came in earlier…completely irate..and demanded we cancel it…” Now….that’s a lie! But is it really causing trouble, if I blame it on him, instead of the actual reason we discontinued it? I think not! But I’d sure like to be a fly on the wall when Bunny..umm.. Blake confronts her. And judging by the look on her face…and the fact that it has lost all color…she’s a little worried about being caught out! But com se com sa! Not caring! And, that, my friend, is how you turn a bad day into a good one! Even if I am still pissed about the way he spoke to Helena!
