Blake’s POV~

Crazy! That’s all I can think about the current king! He’s crazy! He still believes he holds the power. Not realizing almost all his warriors have either surrendered..or died! And now.. Loren decides we are all going to sit and chat. This should be fun!

I walked over to Cody “You do know your sister is probably going to die this time..right!? The only reason she’s stayed alive this long has been out of respect for your family. So.. contact your parents, bro. They have the right to say goodbye “ He nods..”She stopped being my sister a long time ago. I don’t know how she went so wrong!”

Damon got everything set up he needed to go live..and Loren sat at the head of the table. He sat his son on one side..and his son on the other. Several reporters sat in a cluster of seats off to the right side..facing them. To the left..sat the rest of the Royal family. With the exception of Alexis, Olivia and myself. We sat behind Loren. Alexis had given Abraham and Jeremiah truth potions…and froze them in their chairs…this is going to be fun!

The cameraman pointed to Loren and he smiled…”My fellow wolves, As promised, I am in Capital City. Before you sit three Kings..two former..one present. My father and My son…both have quite the tale to tell. Today, you will learn how my father manipulated and molded the entire wolf species into believing true mates were detrimental to the proper wellbeing of the kingdom. You will be told of his attempt to eliminate all witches in existence. Burning them in their beds.. Killing entire families..even infants. He will tell you how he and my mother killed my true mate…because she was a witch. How they wanted my daughter..from that union..dead! You will hear how my entire family were aware of my parents trying to kill me..to force me to relinquish the throne to their protégé..their puppet. The current King will tell you of the atrocities he has committed.. the slaughter of high ranked wolves.. so he could be the ultimate authority.. your almighty wolf god! Unknown to them, they were given truth potions.. created by the very same witches they had hoped to eradicate from our realm! Ask your questions! The floor is yours!”

The first reporter stepped to the podium, and spoke into the microphone “King Abraham.. what was the ultimate goal in killing King Loren?” Abraham responds “Loren refused to comply. He wanted to be his own kind of ruler.. allowing you peasants a say in how things are done. He would have undone everything my father had worked for! We would be overrun by witches. He is a fool” The reporter stepped aside for the next one.. “King Jeremiah..why would you allow your grandparents the ability to kill your own father? He was a good king..a kind king.. He cares about all wolves. He is your father!” Jeremiah spat “You answered your own question.. but you didn’t add he is weak! Incompetent. Ignorant of how a monarch should rule! A monarch’s decisions are absolute! No one has the right to question his methods! The voice of the King should be the Only voice” The reporter looked taken aback “So..because your father cared about the wolves of his kingdom he had no right to live? He had to be forced off the throne?” And Jeremiah laughed “Now you’re understanding!”

The reporter stepped away with a look of disgust..and another took his place “Jeremiah.. why would you believe we wolves would follow you blindly.. after you had killed all alpha and beta born wolves? Not being high born.. does not predicate lack of intelligence. You are not now..nor have you ever been my king! My loyalty will always lie with King Loren” Jeremiah tried to jump up..only to stay in place.. like his ass was superglued to the chair..and Alexis let go a laugh “I AM KING! And you will address me as such or I will have your head!” And everyone heard Charles say “Again with the queen of hearts famous line! Rabbit hole coming up!” And our entire group laughed.. especially Loren!

The reporter smirked “There are fewer than a thousand wolves that would follow you, Jeremiah. Polling has been happening all over the realm, since King Loren’s enlightenment of this regime’s practices. Did you miss that speech?” And all the reporters laughed while Jeremiah screamed “None of you will survive past this day” while the reporter responded “Oh.. I believe we will”

Loren took control of the press conference again “We all know who will not live past this day, Jeremiah! Now, my friends! I wish to introduce my True family.. the one the Goddess intended! Mother Moon has found me worthy.. and in replacing the soul she needed.. by taking Jeremiah’s mother.. she allowed me to have my True Mate..back with me..” He stood and looked over his shoulder.. holding his hands out to Olivia and Alexis.. he pulled them forward “This is your true queen.. the Goddess’s choice.. Olivia Morris.. and this is your true princess..a hybrid witch/wolf… a White Wolf…my daughter..my heart.. my pride and joy.. Alexis Morris Sterling!!”

The reporters went wild.. snapping pictures.. asking questions.. roaring in joy of the white wolf. I stepped up behind my mate.. not fully trusting anyone.. now that Loren had exposed her. I wasn’t aware he was going to tell them she was the white wolf..and it has me pissed!

A reporter yelled out “Won’t the people supporting Jeremiah come for the White Wolf? Is she in danger?” And I stepped forward “Goddess have mercy on any fools crazy enough to come for my mate! I will burn this world to the ground, should anyone try to harm her!”

Someone yelled out “And who are you!?” I smirked evilly “I am your worst nightmare! My name is Alpha Blake Sterling of Sterling Moon.. if you do not know me by reputation.. I suggest you do your due diligence!”

Loren said loudly “My son, by marriage, is a formidable man! He has always been.. but since his mating with my daughter..he has been Goddess blessed! Making him even more of a threat! He also has the full backing of the crown..not to mention, my daughter is a force to be reckoned with! My suggestion would be, to anyone thinking they would go easy… Think long and hard before you forfeit your life!”

A reporter asked “Where do we go from here? Are you retaking the throne? Will Jeremiah abdicate? What of King Abraham?” Loren called for calm.. “Jeremiah will be allowed to abdicate and be imprisoned .. if he refuses, this becomes a coup..and I will publicly execute him. The only choice for Abraham is life imprisonment or death!”
