Third Person POV~

Every Alpha on Sterling Moon’s territory had twenty pack members answering phones or returning emails. The response was overwhelming and gratifying! An entire species coming together.. to reunite in one belief! Every pack calling for the abdication of Jeremiah!

In the conference room, the alphas watched the catastrophic meltdown of the King. He ordered trackers out to bring in every rogue they could find.. by force, if necessary. He ordered combat training every day for six straight hours. He ordered Virginia to find him witches.

What he failed to realize was.. a lot of rogues had seen the broadcast and gone to ground.. not wanting to die for what they knew was a lost cause already. The witches had all been warned by the High Priestess.. helping the King of Wolves was a death sentence.

Loren and Blake were systematically cutting off any additional aid for Jeremiah. Damon had hacked into the palace’s computers. He had already frozen all bank accounts. Seized all assets in the name of King Loren. Blake had men blocking all trade routes into the kingdom… stopping supplies from arriving.

It was becoming a siege.. without the violence of one! The systematic, strategic plan to push Jeremiah into desperation. Everyone knows a desperate man makes mistakes! And it’s only a matter of time.

During the day, Olivia spends time with her sister and her daughter. At night, she spends every second rediscovering the man who held every bit of her heart from the second she saw him.

The atmosphere in the territory was jubilant. They were putting all the finishing touches on the ballroom… Alexis had painted the windows in Christmas themed murals.. everything was in a winter wonderland theme. Beautiful icy blue and white fairy lights adorned the ceiling that had been draped in a midnight blue.. giving the illusion of a winter night. Alexis idea of bringing a midnight clear indoors.. without the cold.

There had been ten different trees brought in and decorated and placed in a romantic path pattern.. with benches for strolling lovers to sit. The menu had been decided.. chefs were prepping everything. Bartenders had stocked the four different bars.. hor d’ouerves carts were placed strategically close to the bars.

The five witches were all in the Alpha’s quarters.. dressing in their beautiful gowns. Cornelia is wearing a baby blue silk one shoulder mermaid style gown..while Dahlia had a crimson red satin ball gown.. fitted bodice and off shoulder cap sleeves. Helena had chosen an emerald green empire wasted chiffon, that displayed her baby bump adorably.

Olivia wore an off the shoulder long sleeved black stretch velvet a-line flared bottom gown that hugged her curves like a second skin. Elegantly sexy.. and a show stopper!

Alexis, on the other hand, had a royal purple halter necked, backless gown that fit her tightly to her hips.. then flared out to the floor, with a slit up her right leg to her upper thigh. Her hair was pulled into a low messy chignon..tendrils of curl framing her face.

Alexis stood at the top of the stairs.. watching the guys’ faces as the girls descended down to them. It was her very favorite part of any romantic event. Dahlia went first to be met with other girls to dance the night away. Then Cornelia… Troy stood at the base of the staircase… in a black tux, with a bowtie the exact color of her gown. He looked up seeing her.. and his lips lifted in that left sided signature smirk of his, but his eyes deepened color and almost twinkled. Two steps from the bottom, his patience wore out and he grabbed her.. lifting her into his chest and kissing her like his life depended on it!

Max stood off to the side of the base. His palm resting on the finial of the bannister… smiling that adorable smile that makes him Max. Hie eyes danced repeatedly over Helena.. from the top of her head.. to her feet and back again. Every nuance denoting his joy! As she reached the final step, his hand lifted, palm up and she laid her dainty one into his.

Olivia stood at the top.. beside Alexis. She squeezed her mom’s hand and whispered “Only good things from this day forward, Momma!” Olivia nodded and dropped her foot to the first stair. She glided down the stairs.. as Loren stood gazing intensely at her. He stood tall, proud.. and every inch a king! Anyone else seeing his face, would have been intimidated.. frightened! His violet eyes were piercing. Not a trace of his dimples slipping past the stony visage. But his focus was true… never deviating from the face of the woman he had loved for so long.. only in his dreams! When she reached the landing, he wrapped one arm around her waist and pulling her to him, his forefinger under her chin, he lifted her face, as he brought hias down to meet hers… and when their lips met.. Alexis swore the bannister melted! Those were the moments that brought Alexis the most joy! She’s standing there thinking ‘Damnit! Goddess should have made me Cupid!’ Then she giggles.

She starts down the stairs.. never taking her eyes off Blake. He is looking up at her and linking her she is the most exquisitely beautiful woman he has ever seen. The smile is glued to his face and he can’t get over how lucky he is to be able to call her his. He reveled in the feeling of the Goddess’s blessing.. every time he saw her. She finally reached him.. and he realized his palms were actually sweaty by the awe-inspiring beauty before him! He lifted her hand to his lips and kissed her knuckles. As he lowered her hand, he was dropping to a knee.. “Alexis, until you, my life had no color. Before you, I lived the mundane. Being with you, I am finding me. Beside you, I am invincible! Loving you is my greatest joy. Will you do me the incredible honor of becoming my wife?” And when he opened the ring box …Eeeeeeep!.. Poof! And he says “Goddess! I hope that’s a yes!” And his family.. who knew this was happening laughed with him! Within seconds, her hair covered in snow.. and missing a shoe she reappeared.. flinging herself into his arms squealing “Yes! Yes! Yes!” And again everyone laughed!
