Blake’s POV~

Alexis and Helena got quite a bit of information.. and now, as I listen to Helena telling Max about the hemlock, I am ready to destroy the entire coven! Has the entire world gone mad? Our own king has decided to kill off all alpha leadership..so he can become a dictator to the surviving ones! Insane!

Cody yells..”Watch! Pouty pants has just realized his father has been misplaced! Listen!” I laugh “Misplaced?” Cody nods telling us yup.. that’s what border patrol said! Idiots! The kingdom is run by idiots!

Jeremiah is throwing shit.. yelling at Juliet.. screaming to bring him the witch.. and as soon as Virginia shows up.. he orders “ Do a location spell on my father! This instant! How did he sneak away? Where could he be! How long has he been gone?” Virginia looks at the two girls.. Alexis sits up and walks to the screen…. Looks back at Helena.. then back at the screen “I want those two girls out of there! Watch their body language… look at their wrists.. Cornelia’s arm.. and Dahlia’s throat! Those are bruises! Fuck that! As soon as Virginia is not in the room with them.. I will go grab them! Aunt Helena.. they can return to the coven.. can’t they?” Helena looks at the girls.. then at Virginia.. she nods, “Virginia is the king’s lover! Watch her.. she takes every opportunity to make contact with him.. his fingers.. his forearm…. There! His hand… and I’m not sure if the coven will take them back. I could always just start my own coven, right here.. as long as Blake agrees!” I nod at her..”You are family! You don’t need my permission!”

Dahlia looks at Virginia “You need something of personal significance to him, correct?” And Virginia slapped her! Lightning struck right outside the window at the palace and Alexis looked sheepish. Helena exclaimed “Holy fuck a duck! Was that you!!?” Lexi nodded and looked embarrassed. Everyone was blown away! I pulled my angel into my lap and whispered “You have nothing to be embarrassed about! Nothing! That was Arielle! And we both know your tender heart cannot tolerate injustice in any form!”

Jeremiah is screaming “Find out what the fuck that was! An attempt on the king’s life??? Find the person who did it! Now!” And that made Alexis giggle.. Loren smiled “That giggle can soothe the most feral beast! … But, here’s a thought.. why haven’t they figured out they can call me? My number hasn’t changed in twenty years!” We all started laughing! Really laughing! And Alexis lost her embarrassment! It was just what she needed!

Cody spoke “Not to rain on anyone’s parade, but Blake… Alpha Richard and his pack arrives today…and Umm… well.. my uncle is his Beta.. So..Yeah! Cynthia will be here.” Alexis mutters “Fuck me! Better order extra tables! Her face is gonna be bouncing off a few!” I laugh.. hard!

I look at Loren “Hey Dad? Want to go to the cells with me? We have four Alphas in custody that were helping Jeremiah.. maybe they’ll be more open to talk, if they see you.?” He nods and claps his hands “And if they don’t.. we can always snap a couple necks! Sounds fun!” I laugh and say “She is definitely your daughter!” And we both walk out, laughing. Knowing Alexis is going to be arranging supplies and ordering more….tables, too… I’m guessing!

Walking into the jail, we head down to Byron’s cell. Loren walks close enough for him to see his face “Hey Byron! You really stink, brother! Damnnn! Is that from sucking Jeremiah’s ass? Dude.. you should have stopped that shit! Hah! That was a pun! A funny one.. when you’re on this side of the bars!” And I realize the king is actually funny!

Byron.. apparently missing the entire point the king was making.. said “Sire, I need to get the kingdom… there are four packs heading there.. we have to strike while the iron is hot! Six alphas were removed in Canada, already.. and I have succeeded in taking two here in the northwest! I know your son is planning on cleansing the land of the tyranny all alphas represent. The ones loyal to the crown will be first lieutenants to the throne. Once the new king draws the country into quadrants! So, when do we leave?”

Loren smiles at me “Why are you keeping him alive, again!? I really see some neck snappage in my future!” And I step into the light.. laughing “That was fucking entertaining as hell! Thanks Byron.. But seriously.. if that’s all you know.. it’s been a waste of our time. Since we already know that shit! Hey Dad! Have at your neck snappage funfest!”

Walking out.. Loren keeps laughing “Okay! He pissed himself!? Just gross!! And I didn’t snap his neck. But that’s something we have to discuss when this is over. They are traitors!”

I nod… and agree..”He nearly cost a man’s life..pairing with Rogues and attacking in the dead of night. Apparently, the king was funding them! He did help them kill two other Alphas. It feels a little too dictatorial than monarchist… which speaks to insanity!”

Walking back into the pack house, I hear Cynthia’s nasally voice and I grabbed Loren’s arm… pulling him through the kitchen to the other side of the dining hall’s entry… Cynthia is whining…and I can’t see who she’s talking to.. although I have a good idea “Blake is going to want to see me! He needs to hear that he’s going to be a father! And then we will be together like the Goddess intended! And you can’t stop it!” And we hear THWACK! then Alexia calmly says “First of all moron… Mates 101… A mate can only get their true mate pregnant… whether mated by souls.. or by mark! Do you wear my mate’s mark? Look carefully… it’s going to look like This one! Take a good look, dumbass! I have had it with you! You selfish, spoiled, immature, irrational psychopath! Come near my mate again! I fucking dare you! I will turn you into the PIG you are” anddd THWACK!

I round the doorway… laughing so hard! “Twice, baby? Two tables? Is she pregnant?” Alexis said “Nope.. I wouldn’t smash her face into tables, if she was.” She shrugs.. I walk around Cynthia and lift Alexis up.. she straddles my waist and I kiss her.. long, wet and deep.. Loren reaches down and grabs Cynthia’s arm as she was reaching for me…telling her “I don’t know you. But I don’t like you! You ever bother my son in law..or my daughter again, and I will snap your neck!” Alexis looks at me with a question on her face and it was my turn to shrug “He has a thing about snapping necks… he’s definitely your father!
