Chapter Warming 43
Chapter 43
Sabrina looked so gentle and hesitant that anyone would want to protect her. It also happened to be the best weapon in her arsenal.
Lorelei turned to Lucille and snapped, “Listen up, Lucille. Harry loves Sabrina, so you should forget about being with him and stop trying to ruin their relationship. If you don’t, I’ll teach you a lesson every time I see you.”
Lucille looked at her like she was a maniac. At the same time, Sabrina lowered her head as a trace of smugness flashed past her eyes.
Suddenly, Lorelei switched tacks. She looked at Lucille with the haughtiness that only a spoiled daughter of an affluent family could have and sneered. “How can someone like you come to Zaytun Pavilion?” “What’s wrong with that? Everyone can come here, right? Why not me?” Lucille smiled coldly.
Lorelei wanted to retort with a slew of curses, but she suddenly got an idea.
It had always been tough to get a private room at Zaytun Pavilion–she and Sabrina were only there that night because Harold had used many connections to get them a room there.
She was positive that someone like Lucille wouldn’t have been able to reserve a room.
She said smugly, “You should know that the private rooms at Zaytun Pavilion need to be booked in advance, right?
“We’re only here tonight because Harry booked a room a week in advance to make Sabrina happy. Do you want us to allow you to tag along?”
Lucille gave her a cool look. “A week, huh?”
Lorelei’s tone immediately turned mocking. “Ugh, you’re so uncivilized. You can’t just come here and get a private room as and when you want… unless you have their platinum card. But how can someone like you possibly have something like that?
“People who want to eat at Zaytun Pavilion generally have to make reservations a month in advance, and they might not even necessarily get it.
“But look at how Harry managed to book a room here within a week for Sabrina’s sake. Not everyone is capable of that, you know.”
Lucille looked at her and asked, “So?”
“I was just thinking that we could do something kind and allow you to tag along with us since you’ll never have the chance to eat here.” Lorelei smiled mockingly
She already had a plan laid out in her mind. As long as Lucille ate with them, she had plenty of ways to humiliate the former. 1
Lucille immediately saw through her and said, “Sure. Why not?”
Lorelei held Sabrina’s hand happily and said, “We’re in room 202. Follow us.” (1
Lucille said nonchalantly, “Fine. I’ll be there after making a trip to the restroom.”
Lorelei couldn’t care less what she wanted to do. She dragged Sabrina over to the front desk and gave

them their room number. A server led them to the reserved room.
As they walked, Lorelei continued to mock Lucille. She told Sabrina, “I knew she would say yes. It’s an honor for someone as uncivilized as her to have the chance to dine at Zaytun Pavilion.”
A hint of slyness flashed in Sabrina’s eyes as she said gently, “Don’t say that about Lucy, Lorelei. She’s-”
Lorelei cut her off impatiently. “Come on, stop worrying about her. I’m going to humiliate her so badly tonight that she won’t dare show her face in front of you in the future!”
Sabrina didn’t say anything else. Her lips curved upward slightly in a conniving smile. She had plenty of ways to deal with Lucille, and she didn’t even have to do anything herself.
Lucille stood at the front desk and watched them disappear. Then, she sneered. She turned to the employee at the front desk and smiled sweetly. “I want to see your manager.”
