Warlords MC – The Complete Series

Warlords MC: Book 1 – Ace (Truman) : Chapter 8

When Ace walked into the cabin, Ben was there waiting for him.

He took a look at Charli and shook his head. Then he peered behind the big guy and saw the man his brother, King was carrying in. His eyes widened but not with surprise.

“Is there somewhere we can hold this jackass for questioning?” King asked the older man.

Ben nodded. “There’s a woodshed around the side of the cabin.”

King smiled but there was no mirth in his eyes as he dragged the unconscious man around the side of the building.

Ace watched his brother disappear then looked back at Charli. “Are you ok?” he whispered.

Charli nodded. “I’ve got a headache but yeah I’m ok,” she whispered back.

“Who is he?” he growled.

“That’s Andy’s buddy, Token.”

“Did he say anything to you before he hit you?” Ace wanted to know.

“He asked me what I’m doing still alive,” Charli whispered. “He said he shot me, he knew he hit me, then when I turned around to run away, he hit me.”

Ace nodded. “When I found him, he was whining about what Andy would do to him when he found out you were still alive. He doesn’t have to worry about Andy finding out. He should be worrying about what me and my brothers are going to do to him when he wakes up.”

“Wait, put me down,” Charli insisted as her eyes widening as she remembered something.

Ace shook his head. “No way sweetheart. I’m putting you to bed, you need to recover.”

“No I really don’t,” she argued. She began struggling in his arms but he wouldn’t allow her to get free of his embrace. “Let me go!”

“Give me one good reason.” He growled at her.

Charli abruptly quit struggling and peered up to Ace. “We need to go back out there, where you found me.”

“Why?” Ace stared down at her face.

“Because there was something there, something we need to look at.” “Such as?” He cocked an eyebrow.

“That’s just it, I don’t know…But there was something out there that wasn’t right.”

“What are you talking about girl?” Ben came up to them. “Put her down.” He glared at the towering man holding his granddaughter

Ace growled but set her on the floor. He kept hold of her but he frowned as she swayed on her feet. “Tell us what you saw.”

Charli held her head as fresh pain slapped her. “I saw footprints in the dirt. Someone else has been in these woods. Someone who shouldn’t be here. I mean why was Token walking around the woods? How did he just happen to find me? Something isn’t right here.” She looked up at him. “We have to go back out there. I have to look around. Like I said, what was Token doing out there?”

“She’s right,” King spoke out from behind his brother.

“What did you do with him?” Ace turned and looked at his brother.

“He’s secure in the wood shed,” King assured his brother with a grin. “He ain’t going anywhere, nor can he call out.”

Ace sighed. “Ok, let’s go back out where we found you and have a look around.”

Charli took a step away from him and swayed. Ace grabbed a hold of her to steady her and she closed her eyes against the pain. When she opened her eyes again, she gave him a short nod. “Well, what are you waiting on? Let’s go.”

“Honey, you aren’t going anywhere. You can barely stand,” Ace told her. “My brothers and I can check things out.”

“The hell you say.” Charli scowled at him. “I’m going with you. I know these woods way better than you do.”

“She’s got a point.” Ben acknowledged. “She would know what should be there and what shouldn’t be there. She walks these woods all hours of the day and night. I never thought I’d have to worry about her safety on my own land.”

Charli’s eyes grew big as she suddenly remembered something. Swinging her head around, she stared at Joker.

Ben frowned at her anxious expression. “What’s wrong?”

Charlie shook her head. “Oh, my god! Three weeks ago, I dug a hole to bury Joker, when I thought he was dead. It was in my secret place. I never thought about it. I mean no one is supposed to be here but us. I never gave it any thought. What if whoever is roaming around out there, found the disturbed earth and dug it up again? They would have found there was nothing buried there and they would know Joker isn’t dead.”

“That could be why they keep coming after you,” King suggested. “Maybe they’re trying to flush him out into the open. Young Andy has to finish what he started before anyone finds out what he did.”

“But the fool keeps missing his target.” Ben scoffed.

“We might not be so lucky next time,” Ace concluded. Just then, his phone pinged with a message and he swore as he looked at it, “God Damnit.”

“What’s wrong?” King asked.

“Pepper and his man are almost here.”

“What’s wrong with that?” King asked.

“I asked him to come in after dark, so no one would see him. We can’t or we shouldn’t let anyone know we’re in these parts yet. If he comes through town, everyone will know he’s here and that isn’t going to help our mission.”

Charli shrugged. “Tell him to come in the back way then. It’s a little tricky but at least he won’t run into anyone.”

“How do I tell him that when I don’t know where the back way in is?” Ace glared at her.

Charli groaned with disgust. “Tell him to meet us at the wayside just outside of town. We’ll meet him and show him the way.” She turned and headed out of the cabin.

Ben didn’t say anything. He had no idea why there were more men coming but then as Ace said it was club business and he didn’t need to know. He waited and watched as Charli and Ace left the house, then he listened to the ATV start up.

He could feel the tension building up and he hoped no one else would get hurt before this was over.

Truman followed her directions and came out of the woods to see two dozen bikers waiting at the rest stop. He frowned as he rolled up to them. Slipping his sunglasses to the top of his head, he glared at the other men. “I thought you said you would come alone, with just your enforcer.”

“Not fucking likely,” one of the men sitting on a cycle called out.

He felt his rage grow but then Charli laid her hand on his back and he calmed down. Sighing deeply, he looked over at Pepper. “What did you think I was gonna do to you?” he asked Pepper.

“I had no control over how many came with me,” Pepper explained. “We were willing to come alone but they wouldn’t let me. You see when I told them what you said, they didn’t believe it. They needed to see what’s going on with their own eyes, same as me.” He looked around at the wayside. “So why did you have us meet you here?”

“Because there’s a rotten setup in this town and if they see a bunch of bikers come in, they would arrest you and throw away the fucking key,” Truman informed them. “The Mayor of Big Timber lives here and his son is a fucking bully. He’s already tried to kill Joker and I’ll be damned if I’ll give him a second chance to finish the job.”

Pepper scoffed, “They can’t arrest us without a reason.”

Truman nodded. “Here, they can and will.”

“So why are we here?” one of Pepper’s men asked.

Truman turned his head and looked around at the men in front of him. “Joker told me the other day that there’s a building not far from the farm he was staying at and he thinks it is a pick up point for illegal drugs. He also said he’s seen Ghost Riders picking up bags of what Joker believes to be little blue pills.”

Pepper looked upset. “That’s not possible. We don’t deal drugs, man.”

Truman nodded. “I know but Joker knows your cuts. He wouldn’t say something like that if it weren’t true. I asked you to come here to verify it and possibly identify your people, the dealers. If they aren’t your men, we need to know who the hell they are.”

Pepper nodded. “Ok, let’s do this then. Our club, like yours, don’t move drugs. We don’t need to draw the attention of the DEA or AFT. If they are wearing our cuts, we’ll take care of that but we need to know who’s doing this.”

“Follow us back then and we’ll scope out the building.” Truman started up the ATV and began the ride back with Charli holding onto him. The air around them hummed with the engines of two dozen bikers.

When they pulled up at the cabin, King and the rest of the War Lords came out and glared at the bikers.

Truman shut down the ATV and then the bikers shut down their rides.

King crossed his huge arms over his chest and glared at his brother. “I thought you said he was coming pretty much alone?”

Truman shrugged. “He brought some friends along for the ride. What can I say?”

Joker stepped forward. “We don’t have time for this shit. We need to get into place. Andy may be a fool but we can’t let him know we are aware of what he’s up to. If he sees us, he won’t hesitate to kill us and leave our bodies behind as wolf food.”

Pepper snorted in disgust. “If you know who this fool is why don’t you just take him out and be done with it?”

“He’s got protection here,” Truman replied “His dad is Mayor and he’s paying off the locals to hide his secrets. They won’t hesitate to haul our assess to the nearest state pen.”

Pepper shook his head. “Damn, I hate small town politics.”

“So do I,” Truman agreed. “But until we have proof we can show the people of this town, we’re stuck with it.”

They all moved away from the cabin and disappeared into the woods. Leaving most of his men behind, Pepper moved easily alongside of Truman and his brothers.

Joker showed them all where to go and soon, everyone was settled in for the duration. It wasn’t long before a blue truck arrived. Pepper looked over at his man Jackson.

Jackson lifted a recorder to his shoulder and began filming what was going on below. Jackson and some of the others had climbed up into the trees to get a better angle of the building below.

No sooner than Andy arrived, two motorcycles roared up the drive. Both men were wearing a Ghost Riders cuts.

Pepper’s eyes narrowed as he saw them. His men weren’t too happy about them either but now was not the time for confrontation. It was only after the exchange and the pills were loaded and the motorcycles took off that Pepper turned to Ace. “I’ve fucking seen enough.”

The men scrambled back down from the trees.

Everyone walked back to the cabin silently. Gathering in the front yard, Pepper looked at his men. “We’ve been betrayed boys.” Looking over at Truman, he nodded. “Thank you for bringing this infraction to my attention. I wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t seen it for myself. The men you saw today were Chewy and Ricco. They moved up to Horse Creek from the Denver chapter. Now, I know why.”

“Why?” Truman asked, not really expecting an answer. You never ask about another MC’s business.

Pepper looked enraged as he replied, “Denver is going clean and they didn’t like the loss they took when Hammer outlawed drugs.”

Truman raised an eyebrow at this. “So why did they come to you then? You haven’t been in the trade for a long time now.”

Pepper nodded. “And they knew that coming in, but apparently, club rules don’t matter to them. Until now that is. Now, they’ll learn you don’t mess with the Ghost Riders.”

“How long have they been double dealing your club?” King asked.

“They’ve been with us about six months,” Bumper answered.

“Well, Blue Diamonds have been out on the streets for about eighteen months now,” Truman informed.

Pepper growled again. “Is that what they’re selling? Blue Diamonds? Those lousy bastards.”

Truman agreed with the other man. Blue Diamonds was the new designer drug that hit the streets just under two years ago. It was a wicked drug but it was fast becoming the most sought after designer drug out there. As far as he knew, no one knew where it came from until now. People paid good money for it because it lasted a lot longer than some of the others and it gave you a good high.

Charli pushed her way through the crowd of men standing in her dooryard. Going over to Truman, she told him and the men gathered around, “A little over two years ago Andy left town for a while. He was gone for three months and no one knew where he went; only that he was gone. When he came back, he started acting like his old self again and people noticed an extra cockiness about him. Suddenly, he had money to burn and he grew bolder and bolder. Now we know why. He’s been pushing this drug, supplying and manufacturing it right here. And no one knew about it.” Shaking her head, she looked over at Truman. “This sort of thing just doesn’t happen in a small town like Big Timber or Braaken Ridge.”

“Oh sweetheart, you might be surprised at what happens in small towns,” Truman told her. “This sort of thing happens more and more in sweet little places just like this, where people least expect it.”

She nodded then held out her hand to him. “I went back to where Token ambushed me and I found these.” In her hand she held a bunch of wild flowers.

Truman stared down at the innocent looking flowers.

“These don’t grow around here, naturally. I found several small patches filled with them. I looked them up on the internet and they are considered hallucinogens, then I found several other patches of wild mushrooms that have never been found here before either. Together, they might be part of the drugs Andy is producing. I mean I don’t know what you use for that sort of thing but these plants don’t normally grow here, so they had to come from somewhere right?”

Pepper nodded. “The little lady has a point. If Chewy and Ricco still have the drugs on them when we catch up with them, I’ll have our chemist break down the pills and find out some answers for you.” Holding out his hand, Truman shook it. “Good to see you again, man.” Pepper nodded at him in respect.

“Just wish it was under better circumstances man.” Truman gave him a short nod back.

“I hear you but I had to come and find out for myself. Those two were supposed to be watching the compound this weekend. Not only did they not do what they were supposed to, but they violated the rules of the club as well.” Pepper looked over at Joker. “You said they’ve been here every week for a pickup?”

Joker shrugged. “I’ve only seen them here twice out of the three weeks I’ve been here. I was laid up with an injury the first week so I didn’t get out.”

“They told me last week they were going to see family,” Bumper reminded his President.

“The week before that, they were riding south they said to visit old friends,” one of his other men called out.

“Well, that stops right fucking now.” Pepper swung his leg over his bike and nodded at Truman then started up his bike.

One by one, his club members started up their cycles and soon, the dooryard was empty of Ghost Riders.

When Charli went back inside the cabin, King walked over to Truman and nodded. He looked around to be sure old ben and Charli were inside before he spoke, “One step closer in our mission. At least we know where the pills came from.”

“Now, we just have to find out how long Andy has been making them and if he was in Denver four years ago,” Truman reminded him.

“Maybe your girl can tell us that.” King nodded at the cabin.

“Maybe but I have a feeling she can’t take any more for one day,” Truman surmised as he didn’t even pause at the, ‘your girl’ remark. “Besides, we have someone else we can ask now.” He nodded at the back of the cabin.

“Naw, I’d let him stew a bit longer.” King chuckled. “I think the boy’s afraid of the dark.”

Truman smirked at him then walked into the cabin. Looking around, he didn’t see Charli, so he went to the bedroom he knew was hers. He was worried about her being hurt and that headache she had earlier.

There she was, laying on the bed with her eyes closed.

He quietly closed the door behind him and walked over to the bed. It was only then that he noticed the tears rolling down her face.

Sitting on the bed beside her, he gathered her in his arms and held her for a moment. Only when her silent sobs stopped, did he tilt her face up to his and ask, “What’s wrong, Babygirl?”

She shrugged but didn’t say anything for the longest time. Then she whispered, “All my life this farm has been the one constant in my world. I knew that this was here I belonged. I was happy here working alongside my grandparents. Then my grandma died and my world got a little smaller. It was only grandpa and me. Everyone left us alone and we were ok with that cause we had each other. Then my world was turned upside down by Andy’s attack on Joker. I mean I always knew he was a bastard but to stab someone like that? He had actually enjoyed it. Andy is really a monster.” She lifted her hand to cup his jaw. “Then you came in search of your brother, just like he said you would. He said his brothers would come for him. And you did. When you all walked into that diner, I felt something I ain’t never felt before. I know this is foolish on my part and you probably won’t appreciate it but I felt you came to find me, to free me. Oh, I know you came for Joker and whatever mission you all are on, but I felt as if I found something that’s been missing from my soul all these years. I know that doesn’t make any sense because I really don’t know you and after this is over, I know you’ll leave and go back to where it is you belong but for now, you’re here and that’s all I can ask for.”

“Do you want more?” he whispered softly. “Cause I can give you more if that’s what you want.”

“Can you kiss me again?” Charli begged shyly.

Truman lowered his head and touched his lips to hers gently. She groaned but he didn’t deepen the kiss.

She pulled away and stared at him. “Kiss me like you want to. Kiss me, Ace, like you want me, please?”

Truman groaned and smashed his lips down on hers. He’d been trying to let her down easy but easy wasn’t what she wanted. He didn’t want to hurt her but the second time his lips met hers, the blood began to pound in his body and his lust was like a wild fever that rose inside him. His arms tightened on her, crushing her body to his and his hand circled her throat as their kiss melted time.

His lips slid down her along throat as he began nipping and nibbling on her skin.

Charli groaned and her hand found his buttons, she slipped some of them loose and touched the warm skin of his chest. He was so hard and his muscles jumped under her hands.

Truman pulled his shirt over his head and suddenly, she could reach his entire chest. She straddled his hips and ground her core against the denim of his jeans.

Pulling her t-shirt up and over her head, he gazed at her chest. Her full breasts were caught in a black lace bra. He reached behind her and unsnapped it. The lace fell away to expose her ample breasts and at the sight, he groaned with want as he drew her nipples into his mouth. Reaching down inside the back of her pants, he grabbed her bare ass and lifted his hips at the same time. “I want you, right here right now,” he whispered in her ear.

“Then take me.” She gazed into his eyes. “I need you right here, right now.”

That was all he needed to hear. He unsnapped her jeans and pulled them down along with her panties then tossed them away. He stood long enough to get his own boots and pants off then he laid on top of her. His bare cock rested between her legs. Grabbing her legs, he widened them then slid down and delved into her sweet core. The flavor of her was like a drug. He then worked on her clit as he suckled and licked her, taking her to a high she never could have imagined. Her body rocked as she grabbed his head while he licked and sucked his way to making her come.

Charli gasped and squirmed as she let go of it all and fell apart under his hold on her thighs.

With her orgasm peaking, he kissed his way back up to kiss her deeply and allow her to taste herself as he fit into her cradle. Rubbing his cock against her silken folds, he used her wetness to lubricate his invasion. Then he slid the bulbous head into her and groaned as he hesitated, “You’re so tight.”

“Don’t stop, please don’t stop,” she begged him breathlessly.

Inch by inch, he began feeding her his length and width. She caressed his shoulders and his back until he couldn’t stand it anymore and he slammed the rest of the way into her. She cried out and he put his hand over her mouth to contain her scream. All he could feel was their united pleasure as he began a sensual rhythm, pumping in and out of her.

She met him each and every stroke and when her body began tightening, Truman lost control and began pounding into her. He felt her go over the edge and he quickly covered her mouth with his, kissing her hard. She moaned into his mouth and Ace quickly followed her over the edge. He felt each spurt of his cum painting the walls of her core. He’d never cum this hard before. His muscles tightened as he emptied himself inside her.

He closed his eyes and for a moment, he couldn’t breathe. He collapsed on top on her and waited to get his breath back. Slipping his softened cock out of her, he moved off and over to her side. With a sigh, he gathered her close to him. So close, he could feel the pounding of her heart under the hand he had across her back.

“Oh, my— gosh…” she whispered in awe to his chest.

Truman chuckled at her response to that explosive sex, as he had to agree, they were damn good together. He looked down at her, wanting to see more of her as he hadn’t gotten a good enough look at all that creamy skin before. Something caught his eye and he frowned as he raised his head to look more closely. There was a stain of red between her thighs. Then he gazed down at himself to see the same red slash ran along the shaft of his cock… “Fucking hell girl, you just had to be a virgin didn’t you?” His head fell back on the bed as he stared up at the wooden beams of the ceiling.
