Chapter 83 

By the time Shawn came out of his long shower, Naomi had fallen asleep on the big bed. She breathed steadily lying on her side, her cheek leaning against her right hand and her hair scattering on the white pillow. 

The lust that Shawn had just suppressed surged inside uncontrollably again. 

He took a deep breath and rubbed his forehead. Damn it! Why did she give me puppy eyes?‘ he thought. 

Up to now, he didn’t find her repulsive; but he didn’t have any romantic intentions toward her although they got along well. At most, he used her as a sleeping pill at night and would give her everything she wanted in return. 

Shawn was surprised by how much of an effect her sudden coquetry had on him. 

After staring at her for a long time, Shawn changed into casual clothes and left the bedroom. 

“Mr. Fischer,” Cheryl shouted the moment she saw him. “I have something to tell you.” 

Shawn paused in place. 

He kept a distance from her, frowning, “Why are you still here?” 

Cheryl was taken aback. I thought you asked me to stay! 

“So, you have been living in the back these days” Shawn’s face darkened, “Chandler, come here. 

Chandler immediately came out of his study. “Boss” 

“Why is she still here? Who gave her permission to stay?” Shawn said in a cold voice and looked at Cheryl with extreme disgust Drive her out right 

“Yes, Boss” Chandler quickly approached Cheryl and dragged her toward the gate. 

Cheryl was shocked. She thought Shawn still had feelings for her, so he asked her to stay. But as it turned out, he didn’t know she was staying in the medical room behind the villa 

“Shawn, I’ve been living here for over two weeks. Can you forgive me?” 

Cheryl shouted sadly, “You allowed Naomi to treat Derek’s burn. Can you ask Mrs. Fischer to forgive me?” 

“Shut up!” Chandler was frightened at her crazy behavior. “I really regret it to have saved you. I won’t give a damn about you even if you die in front of me next time. 

“Don’t drag me down with you for the sake of me saving you, okay?” 

Cheryl grabbed him, saying, “Chandler, you know Mr. Fischer’s condition, but he is fine with me around her. Please help me. Please. 

“Are you crazy, Cheryl Chandler laughed angrily. “Now Mr. Fischer has Ms. Edwards by his side, and they sleep in the same bed. You think you mean a lot more than Ms. Edwards to him” 

“So, Shawn is an ungrateful man. He bullies me when he has a new girlfriend, right? Cheryl choked with sobs. “I know I shouldn’t have run away after he had a car accident. I was wrong and I regret it. But why does the Fischer family have to ruin my family? 

“Now that he has a new girlfriend, can’t they just let me go?” 

“Ms. Larson, you should go talk with Mrs. Fischer about it. How many benefits did your family get when you were in a relationship with Mr. Fischer! You don’t need me to make a list for you, do you? 

“You chose to leave him when Mr. Fischer’s life was in danger. You betrayed him. How dare you ask them to help your family!” 

She was bugging Chandler, and he was getting annoyed, so he told her straight, “You are like a parasite to Mr. Fischer, but Ms. Edwards isn’t. She was there to tend to Mr. Fischer when he was confined to a wheelchair, and she has healed his face, 

“Cheryl, I call you 

dl you Ms. Larson because I am cultured and educated. But can you 

you not disgrace yourself? You want everything. How unbelievable!” “You…” Cheryl was at a loss as to what to do after Chandler scolded her. He shook off her hand and closed the carved door. “See yourself off just like how you got here. Someone like you doesn’t deserve our kindness to take you home” 

Cheryl bit her lips and tears ran down her cheeks again. She cried with her hands covering her face, squatting at the door,

taomi appeared in Shawn’s life, and Derek was grateful to Naomi Cheryl felt that everything she had was going to be taken away by Naomi 

after throwing Cheryl out of the gate, Chandler went back to report in to Shawn 

He said. “Boss, I made a mistake. I took Cheryl to where Derek is staying after she passed out without consulting you. Please punish me

OK, Boss” Chandler left respectfully. Thinking of Boss sullen look, he took out his phone and called Naomi to ask her to cajole Shawn now that Shawn was mad. 

I took a while for Naomi to answer the phone, Hello, Chandler. 

Ms. Edwards, Mr. Fischer is pissed off. Could you please go cajole him?” he asked. 

Chandler lowered his voice, saying, “Please. He was furious after learning that Cheryl had been lodging at Spring Villa. Ms. Edwards, would you please help me out?” 

In a stupor, she looked up at the bathroom. There was no longer the sound of water running and the light inside was 

Chandler asked anxiously, “Ms. Edwards, are you listening! 

“Ms. Edwards, I really need your help” 

“Yes, I was listening.

going to find Mr. Fischer, she responded 

Chandler had been a big help to her right from the start. She would repay him wholeheartedly for his kindness. 

Naomi sat up at once at his words. “Chandler, I’m not sure if I can make Shawn feel better, but I try my best.” 

Thank you, Ms. Edwards. I’m sure you can.” 

After hanging up the phone, Naomi went to the study, only to find Shawn wasn’t there. She went downstairs and saw him drinking red wine. 

Since his face and legs recovered, she often saw him drinking red wine, 

“Mr. Fischer. Naomi walked to him and sat next to him. “Can I have some?” 

After casing her a glance, he took a sip and pinned her head before kissing her. 

Naomi’s eyes widened. 

Why was Shawn so disgusting?
