Chapter 38
“Is it bad I want to rip that dress off you and ravish your body right now?”
“Yes, Rowan, it is bad, and Elias would kill you.”
Rowan chuckled from his reclined position on the bed picking at the polished buttons on his tux. “I never liked these monkey suits.”
“Well, it’s too bad. They look great on you.” Sylvie padded over, lifting the tulle skirt so she could lean and kiss his lips.
“Now, do you want to rip the dress off because it looks bad or because I look good in it?” She had picked an A-line vintage beach dress with a slight champagne hue to avoid the implications of her ‘purity’ and a pair of creamy pumps to match.
Rowan chuckled, eyeing her up and down hungrily. “You look ravishing. Perhaps we should marry you more often.”
Sylvie laughed and swatted him, standing and turning back to the mirror to finish her subtle makeup. “Was that a proposal, Mr Hex?”
Rowan appeared at her shoulder, kissing across it to her neck. “Shifters do not marry, as we do not wish to possess each other as the tradition suggests.”
“It told you it isn’t like that for me.”
“I know, but we have many ceremonies ahead for which I would ask you to be mine.”
“Oh? Like what?”
He kissed her neck again and sniffed her hair, curled and tumbling down her back.
“Well, mating ceremonies, human turning events.”
She stiffened as he spoke and front at him through the mirror. She wanted to put an end to those, the deaths feeling needless. He only smiled and hid his face behind her, stroking her curls softly.
“And, of course, all of the mated pairs couplings were successful. We will need a ceremony to celebrate all the upcoming births.”
“What!” Sylvie spun, tears in her eyes and squeezed Rowan’s shoulders. “They’re all pregnant?”
“Yes, Amira confirmed it. Strong heartbeats too.”
“Oh my god, that’s so amazing. I should go congratulate them.”
She headed for the door, but Rowan’s hand on hers brought her back to reality.
“Well, maybe after I get married.”
“That might be a good idea,” Kian said, walking through the door with a handsome smile. She reciprocated and jumped into his arms, yelping when a tiny tearing sound came from her dress.
“You’re lucky Kerensa is a good seamstress.”
“She is?”
Kian hummed and kissed her forehead, lowering her to the ground. “Are you ready? Natalie and Rosie said you were almost done when Rowan kicked them out. I thought I better check he wasn’t deflowering you,” he added the last part with a sardonic smile, and Rowan barked a laugh.
She blushed, pressing onto her toes to kiss him one last time and inspected her dress. Nothing appeared amiss, and Rowan shook his head too.
“It still looks perfect. Like you.”
She bit her lip and giggled softly, the giddiness overwhelming her suddenly. “Do you have the ring?”
Kian nodded, pulling a thick golden band from his pocket, swirling with patterns of red through it. “It was his father’s. He’s gonna be pissed with me for not returning it sooner.”
She laughed. “Why didn’t you?”
“I just knew he would need it for something important, and as you know, time apart makes the heart grow fonder.”
Sylvie laughed again, dabbing the tears from the corner of her eyes as Rowan scoffed. “Little thief.”
Kian hid a smile and looked down, his ears burning. Slowly Sylvie calmed down and clasped her hands together with a giant grin. “Alright, well, are you two ready to walk me down the aisle?”
“Your wedding rings are the outward and visible sign of the inward and invisible bond which already unites you two hearts in love. Groom, place the ring on Bride’s finger and repeat after me. I give you this ring. Wear it with love and joy. As this ring has no end, my love is also forever.”
Elias’s eyes bore into Sylvie’s ones as he placed the sleek golden band encrusted with rubies to match her engagement ring. “I give you this ring to wear with love and joy. It has no end, nor does my love for you. Forever and all eternity, Sylvie Hart.”
Seona acting as celebrant chuckled softly and turned to Sylvie, repeating the prompt as she took the ring box from the pocket of her dress. Failing to hide a coy smile, Sylvie opened the box and pulled the ring free, giving Elias time to see it and process it before threading it over his finger.
He turned his hand, nodding stiffly as Sylvie recited Seona’s words, and he failed to hide the laugh as he found Kian in the crowd.
His genuine, full smile sent a flurry of butterflies through Sylvie’s belly as he turned back and held her hands in his.
“Cheeky little minx,” he whispered.
She barely heard another word Seona said, her body and soul mesmerised by the icy blue eyes in front of her. Finally, he would call her his wife.
While kindred, mate and bonded were all important titles that she appreciated, there was something so sexy about being called Wife. His flickering red eyes proved his mind was also wandering to the wedding night, dusk already upon them.
“You may now kiss your bride.”
He dipped her and stole her breath away with the kiss before hoisting her into his arms and carrying her back down the aisle— the path coated in petals and seeds to eventually grow a garden in their place.
The shifters stood for the ceremony across the lawn, clapping and dabbing their eyes as Elias carried her across the threshold of their home and kissed her one last time for the prying eyes.
Kian and Rowan followed a little later, offering their congratulations and love while forcing Sylvie to eat something.
A knock at the door stole her attention, and she left the half-eaten burger on the counter as she ran to see the welcome intruder.
“What are you doing?”
“Nice to see you too, Kerensa.”
“Yeah, yeah.” She offered an awkward side hug revealing a beaming Rosie and subdued Natalie behind her on the porch.
“You looked so beautiful.” Rosie grabbed her hand and squeezed while Natalie nodded her head.
“The shifters are wondering when you plan on... you know-” Rosie cleared her throat, a bright blush rising under her freckles.
Sylvie’s identical response was almost instantaneous, her words coming out in a sputter. “What? You don’t mean-”
“Come on,” Natalie scoffed. “You’ve been here long enough to know what they’re like. Give the people what they want.”
Elias appeared at her shoulder and pulled her into him, tucking her away. “You can say no.”
“Do you want me to say no?”
“I didn’t say that.”
“You want to fuck in front of people?”
“I didn’t say that either. Do you?”
Sylvie burned from head to toe. Maybe .“I don’t know.”
“Not in front,” Rowan corrected. “Just... around.”
Kerensa swore and disappeared into the house. “Fucking animals.”
“So?”
The anticipation and erotic thoughts grew as Sylvie fingered her mate’s marks. Maybe it could be fun. Perhaps they could play a game.
She turned to Elias then. “How about a game of hide and seek?”
The sun had just settled under the horizon, and the sky outside darkened enough she couldn’t see the shifters milling around the yard. Their voices were the only clue they were even still there.
Kian sighed softly. “My wards extend around a hundred metres in each direction. You need to stay within it.”
“Obviously,” she replied, excitement rising. “Elias?”
He scrutinised her under his dark gaze, and a small smile crept up his lips.
“Run, kitten.”
The silence in the forest unnerved her as she stood panting, back pressed into a tree. She contemplated hiding in one but thought better of it. That would be cheating. The squeals of shifters around her getting caught by their respective partners stirred butterflies in her belly.
Quickly the squeals turned into moans of pleasure, and she pressed her thighs against the throbbing sensation of her puss. Leaves crackled behind her, and she sunk on her ass, praying her dress wouldn’t poke out from behind the oak.
“I can hear you breathing, kitten.”
She covered her mouth and squeezed her eyes shut, trying not to laugh.
“She’s excited.” Kian’s mirthful voice sounded in the darkness. Her eyes sprung open when the final voice spoke in a low growl.
“She smells so sweet.”
Rowan.
For some reason, she didn’t expect Elias to share their wedding night, but the inclusion of all her mates made it even hotter.
She turned her head, using the energy lines and spied her three mates closing in on her, Elias in the middle with Kian and Rowan starting to flank her.
Reaching overhead, she grabbed a thick branch and pulled herself up, climbing as quietly as her dress would allow. The soft, tearing sound filled her with guilt, but she shrugged. Elias was a millionaire; surely he wouldn’t care about the very expensive dress he paid for...
Soon she was directly above them, their gazes turning up to spot her in the branches, each with cheeky grins.
“Come down, now.”
“We win.”
Sylvie laughed and turned to face the free side of the tree. “You have to catch me first.” With that, she jumped to the ground, grateful for her bare feet, as she landed hard and rolled over her shoulder, standing and running through the darkness.
Her mate’s low chuckles forced her legs to pump harder.
“Not so fast, kitten.” Elias appeared directly in front of her, and she dug her heels into the earth to stop her from careening into his body, but it was no use. He scooped her from the ground like a sack of potatoes and threw her over his shoulder.
“Damn it,” she muttered. Kian and Rowan settled in behind him as he carried her to an unknown location, his hand absently stroking up and down her inner thigh, brushing dangerously close to her opening.
She kicked her legs a little to suggest she would put up a bratty fight, but all she really wanted was to be ravished right then.
As if reading her mind, Elias threw her onto a soft fabric, the bed of leaves beneath the blanket a nice touch.
“Did you plan this?”
Rowan chuckled softly. “We may have set this up before we searched for you.”
“You weren’t exactly difficult to track,” Kian added. “At least not with our mate marks connecting us.”
Elias lifted her to pull her zip free and ripped the dress the rest of the way off, throwing the muddy, torn garment to the side.
“Elias!”
“I would buy a thousand more dresses like that just to tear them off you, Sylvie. Don’t question me.”
She rolled her eyes, but her mouth widened in a smile. “Yes, master.”
He grunted, deftly unbuttoning his dress shirt as her two other mates did the same. Their matching expressions, fueled by lust and desire, quickened her breathing.
“Elias?”
“Yes?”
“Will you tell me what to do tonight?”
“Of course.”
Rowan groaned lowly, stroking himself as he gazed upon her naked body, legs parted slightly to reveal herself. She was ready for them, her wetness glistening.
Kian was more restrained, not yet touching himself but straining against his pants.
“Kian will have you first while you suck Rowan’s cock.”
“Yes.”
For hours her lovers filled her, rocking inside each opening with controlled strokes, her body shuddering as they fucked her together. Elias stroked himself as he directed her. “Get on your hands and knees.”
She obliged, letting herself climax over and over, each time harder than the last. When Elias finally took her, her body trembled with every deep thrust. He reached every spot within her, forcing her legs to shake and her eyes to roll back. He flipped her on her back again, thrusting deeper as Kian and Rowan lay at her side, kissing her breasts and stroking her clit until the stimulation grew too much.
Elias grinned as she came again, sweat coating her body. He pushed her hands overhead. “Hold them there.” She buried her fingers in the dirt, letting the forest light up around her, her energy and bliss surging down the root paths and the other shifters rutting on the earth around them.
“Elias.”
“You know what to say, kitten.” He thumbed her clit in tight circles as he rocked himself to the hilt inside her, pausing at the deepest part.
“No,” she panted, letting wave after wave of bliss flow through her and into the earth, easing her overstimulation.
Elias’ brow rose as he stared into her eyes. “What are you doing?”
She grinned as simultaneous moans and mewls echoed around them, her mate’s bodies tensing at the action.
“Keep fucking me, Elias.”
He narrowed his eyes but gripped her hips, thrusting faster and deeper until her pleasure hit another glorious peak, and let the climax ripple through her to the earth and back into every shifter nearby, including Kian.
Delicious erotic moans echoed as hot cum filled her and soaked her sides. She sighed blissfully, kissing Kian as he stared at her wide-eyed after the spontaneous forced orgasm.
“What was that?”
“I don’t know,” she sighed. “But let’s do it again.”
