Chapter 264
Chapter 264 Gavyn Got Punched
Aylin's tone was detached and free, but the two brothers could still see a hint
of melancholy in her eyes.
The two looked at each other and exchanged glances in an instant.
Both of their eyes suddenly paused. Their gazes were like sharp blades colliding, brushing against each other with sparks!
Aylin would never let go of the grievances she had suffered all these years!
"Ayl, you don't have to worry about this." Harry stroked her long hair soothingly and looked at Aylin with a gentle look in his eyes. "We'll help you."
"Yes!" Robert chimed in. "The biggest mistake is still with Delacruz! In the past three years, he didn't do his duty as a husband or care about his wife at all!" Robert frowned and clenched his fists. "The others can't be spared easily
either. I'll make them pay for every time they hurt you!"
Aylin reached out and patted Robert. "Okay, don't mention Gavyn. I don't want to hear his name. Besides, you are so angry that your hair is about to explode."
Robert hurriedly reached out to hold down his hair. "Ah! Is it? I just permed
my curly hair!"
Aylin laughed in amusement. "I'm just kidding."
Robert smiled helplessly and said, "Just rely on me to spoil you!"
"Yeah, though that's just going to make me arrogant." Aylin blinked playfully, resisting the soreness in her nose and holding back her tears. "I don't want to think about those things anymore. As long as you are by my side, I can get over any hurdle!"
She just wanted her family to be happy.
As for those wicked people, she would kill them herself!
Speaking of revenge plans, Aylin suddenly remembered something.
"By the way, Harry, Robert, I've got suspicions." Aylin sorted out her
expression and began speaking seriously. "I suspect that Hanson was not the only one who caused the cruise ship explosion three years ago. It's very likely
that Serena was involved."
"Serena?" Harry's expression turned cold as he toyed with his coffee cup. "Hanson was just a nobody three years ago. He doesn't have that much power. Besides, he and Serena have always been close, so it's hard to guarantee that they won't work together."
Robert began to reminisce. "I remember when we rushed back from abroad to
see Aylin, Hanson confessed that she had been cremated, and the so-called
funeral was also arranged by him and Serena. Serena hadn't been back for so
long, and she suddenly acted very actively and enthusiastically about Ayl's matter. It felt strange at that time."
Harry revealed a piece of important information. "All these years, I've been investigating their financial dealings. It's definitely not something good!"
Harry's words confirmed Aylin's suspicions.
She narrowed her eyes slightly. She would not let them all go.
Robert and Harry glanced at each other. They all saw the burning desire for
revenge in Aylin's eyes.
"Aylin, I know you have a clear distinction between love and hate, and that you repay either with kindness and hatred." Robert held her hand and said, "The hatred for killing your father is irreconcilable. It's too hard for you to do this
alone. Count me in."
Harry put his hand down and said, "Me too. We'll always be by your side. We'll always be there for you."
The man's voice was deep and powerful, carrying strength that could move
mountains and push the sea.
To Aylin, the large private room suddenly seemed to have shrunk. She faintly felt like she had returned to being a child - that she had done something wrong, and his brothers were taking the initiative to step forward and share the responsibility with her. They chose and loved her unconditionally.
Aylin's eyes turned red, and she held their hands tightly.
"Aylin, I'm back!"
Just when she was about to shed tears, a child's crisp voice suddenly sounded. Aylin wiped the tears from the corner of her eyes and turned around.
"Okay, let's go home."
"What else do you know? Start talking!"
In the CEO's office, Gavyn was staring at Waylon with scrutiny, as though he
was a judge with a gavel.
He wouldn't stop until Waylon's mouth was completely opened.
Waylon was crying. If he had known, he wouldn't have told him about Harry!
"No, I really know nothing more. I'm not all-seeing; how can I know everything? Well... My family has asked me out to eat, so I'll be going first."
Gavyn had been in a bad state lately, and Waylon's intuition told him that he
shouldn't stay for long at this time!
After saying that, he ran away quickly.
The office instantly fell silent. Gavyn rubbed his eyebrows and looked back at
the computer, the complex code flashing on the screen.
It seemed like Gavyn's heart was racing.
But after a few minutes, the silence was broken again. As soon as Steve called,
Get Bo
he was reprimanded.
"You're still in the mood to work today? Come back right now!"
Is there something special today? Gavyn wondered.
Gavyn frowned and was about to ask, but Steve hung up the phone angrily.
Gavyn still listened to Steve. After telling Lloyd to postpone the meeting in the
afternoon, he drove back to the mansion.
"Grandpa!"
As soon as he entered the door, he saw the butler's complicated expression. Before he could ask, he suddenly felt something on his back!
Gavyn was caught off guard at home. He frowned in pain and turned around to
see Steve glaring at him with a cane in his hand. Steve raised his arm and wanted to hit Gavyn again.
"You rascal!"
"Grandpa!" Gavyn frowned and gripped the cane in Steve's hand. "What
happened?"
The old man snorted coldly, his majestic face livid. "You really don't know what day it is today?"
Gavyn was confused.
"There is no important matter today, and it is not the birthday of any elder. Why are you angry?"
The old man pinched the bridge of his nose, only to feel a surge of evil anger
rushing to his head. "You've thought about everyone, yet you've forgotten
your wife, haven't you!"
My wife? Gavyn's eyebrows twitched. Could it be...
"Aylin! Today is Aylin's birthday!"

Even though the two of them were divorced, in Steve's heart, Aylin had always been his granddaughter-in-law.
He had been sending people to observe the interactions between Gavyn and
Aylin, hoping that the two youngsters would change their minds.
Today was Aylin's birthday, and he, as an elder, was worried about it. But
Gavyn didn't do anything!
Seeing that his grandson was about to miss this great opportunity to make peace, Steve pointed at him and reprimanded, "My gift's been sent to her already. What about you? Half a day has passed, yet you have nothing to show for it. You're ignoring my words!"
Gavyn opened his mouth and wanted to say something, but Steve interrupted
him with his barrage of words.
"Since you've been working with Aylin, you should have seen what she's like by now, right? She's a rich lady, beautiful and capable, and her reputation has long since spread in New York! The men beside her are either top actors or models. Why don't you have any sense of crisis at all? I'm so worried about you! Do you know how many pairs of eyes are staring at her, and how many men want her to favor them? When will I be able to get my
granddaughter-in-law back?"
