To Be Yours Again novel (Alec and Jenny)

Chapter 1259 I Must Warn You

Graham was straightforward. He didn't beat around the bush with Alec. He'd brought those two over that day to talk about this.

"Yes, Mr. Walter," Alec admitted, nodding. Everyone already knew about it.

"And since she has accepted your proposal, I suppose that you two are ready for marriage," Graham said, this time looking at Jenny.

Alec obviously wanted to marry, but Graham wasn't so sure if Jenny wanted to. After all, she'd had a failed marriage before. He thought that she would take marriage more seriously.

Jenny was stunned. She looked at Alec, who was looking right back at her. She was silent for a moment. Then, she nodded determinedly. "Yes. I'm ready to marry."

"Good." Graham heaved a sigh of relief. Now he knew that Jenny was no longer concerned about her divorce. She had completely moved on.

Lynette was sporting a somber expression. She'd said nothing yet. "When are you planning to marry?"

She and Graham were planning to travel around the globe. But now that Jenny and Alec were planning to marry, they had to wait for them to marry before setting off.

That was for the best. They wouldn't have to worry about Jenny because someone would be looking after her.

"We haven't thought about it yet, Madam Bell. We only just got engaged yesterday. We haven't planned the wedding yet." Alec was speechless. How could he think of so much in just one night? Graham and Lynette understood that. They'd called them over to talk about the wedding.

"Since you've decided to marry, you need to decide on a good date. Lynette and I will go to consult a priest about this one day," Graham said with a smile. "As for the wedding, you can plan it yourself. You might not like what we like. We won't be interfering in that matter."

Jenny had no problem with what Graham said in the second half, but the first half caught her by surprise. "Do you believe in those things?"

If it were up to her, she and Alec would just decide on a date that worked for them. She wouldn't consult anyone else.

But Graham was insistent on this matter. "We might as well try to bring good luck to your marriage."

"Fine. As you wish." Jenny shrugged. She didn't mind, really. She just thought it was a hassle.

Alec didn't mind, either. He comforted Jenny. "Consulting someone might be good for us."

"I don't mind. You can do whatever you want. I'm busy with work and don't have time to worry about this." Jenny didn't mind, and she wasn't planning on worrying about the wedding, either. Alec had said before that she could entrust it all to him, so she really wasn't going to worry about it.

Graham looked at Alec. "Are you going to plan it solo, Alec? Can you handle it? Lynette and I have been free lately. You may call us for help if the need ever arises."

"Thanks, Mr. Walter. Don't worry. I'll make the wedding spectacular. I won't make Jenny upset." Alec already had a plan in mind. However, a lot of them required custom designing and would require some time to complete.

Graham patted him on the shoulder. He was no longer biased against Alec. "Alright. I trust you. However, I must warn you about something. I only have one daughter, and that is Jenny. If you make her upset, I will never let you go. Not even if I'm buried and pushing daisies."
