To Be Yours Again novel (Alec and Jenny)

Chapter 1167 A Visit to the Bell Family

When Jenny boarded a flight out of Bardoff City, she could not help but lament her hectic life due to all the things she had to deal with. She wondered how Graham was holding up, hoping nothing bad had happened to him.

This time around, Alec did not join her on the trip to Bayside City. On the one hand, he was busy with work in Faust Group; on the other hand, Jenny was confident she could handle the matter independently. She was far from helpless and handled most things in life well on her own. He was worried about her but did not insist on going with her he knew her personality too well. There was no changing her mind once she arrived at a decision.

It was a four-hour trip from Bardoff City to Bayside City, a longer trip than to Parrington. That was no surprise because Bayside was closer to the sea. While everyone in Bardoff was huddled up in coats, the residents of Bayside could show off in summer dresses.

When Jenny alighted the plane in her coat, she was instantly attacked by the heat and started sweating on her back. She quickly found a restroom and changed out of her thick clothes into something comfortable.

Mr. Ortiz was already waiting for her at the entrance to the airport. He was a longtime staff in the Walter Family. After Graham handed the family matters to Jenny, he enrolled Mr. Ortiz in his search for Jenny's biological mom. At this point, Graham was more than an employer to Mr. Ortiz.

"Mr. Ortiz!" Jenny waved at him after she spotted him.

He respectfully opened the car door for her. "Miss Walter, please get in."

"Sure." Without wasting time, she entered the car, and they left the airport.

He appeared worried in the car. "Miss Walter, we have heard nothing from Mr. Walter. Could something...have happened to him?"

"Mr. Ortiz, do you know the location of the Bells' family home?" Instead of answering him, she posed another question.

He was slightly taken aback before replying, "Yes. I went there with Mr. Walter once, but I only took a glance from the entrance. I didn't go in."

"Okay. Let's go visit the Bells," she ordered, to his surprise.

He asked, "Did you say we're going to the Bells? What do you mean?"

"If we can't find my dad, we will confront the Bells and demand his release. I don't think they'll lay a finger on me." She was rather confident on that front. At the end of the day, she was part of the Bells as well. If she met the family, she might have to address the heads of the family as her grandpa and grandma, even though she would refuse to do so in that event.

Mr. Ortiz thought that Jenny's decision was bold, but it was a perfect plan upon second thought. Confronting the Bells sounded easier than wasting time searching for Graham. Soon, he turned the car around and sped toward the Bell Villa.

The villa was easily located because the Bells were popular in Bayside City. Jenny stared at the villa from afar and scoffed, "They seem to follow the same design in this city."

"Yeah, I think so. Mr. Walter and I realized that when we first arrived." The residents preferred to show off their wealth through the design of their homes, which was their expression of vanity.

When the car rolled to a stop, Jenny hopped out with a concerned Mr. Ortiz by her side. "Miss Walter, are you sure you want to march in like this? Won't they do something to you?"

"Mr. Ortiz, we're living under the rule of law. They won't do anything to me." Well, at least on the surface. She couldn't be sure if the Bells would secretly make a move on her after she left the villa later. However, she wasn't bothered by the thought because she had her men to protect her. Who knew if the Bells would end up at a disadvantage?
