The Three Little Guardian Angels Chapter 2724
Chapter 2724
“I miss him.”
Morrison knew who she meant, and his face froze. “You’re doing this to yourself. Miss someone else!”
Leah’s eyes were teary, but he couldn’t tell if she was sad or glad. “Miss you instead?”
Morrison paused. After a long pause, he sat down on the floor. “Are you sure you’re not drunk?”
“Do I look drunk?”
“Quite.”
Leah looked down. She wasn’t thinking when she said that. She was three years older than Morrison, so it wouldn’t work out.
She had wasted ten years of love on Zephir, so now she wouldn’t want to ask for too much. After a moment, she smiled.
Leah lowered her head to hide her eyes. “I was just joking, don’t take it too seriously.”
She then started cleaning up. “Alright, I’m done, and I’m going to rest. Remember to lock the door on your way out.”
Morrison chuckled. When he saw her standing up, he pulled her back down. “You best take responsibility for what you said when
you’re sober!”
Leah was startled, and her facial expression was one of shock. She thought she had misheard him.
After a moment, she mumbled, “What responsibility?”
Morrison leaned in. “I’m not someone you can just flirt with. If you want to flirt with me, you must be ready for what happens
afterward.”
Her eyes darted around before she suddenly planted a kiss on his lips.
It was just a peck, so he didn’t have time to react to it.
After that, Leah smiled. “Does that count?”
Morrison took a deep breath, put his hand behind her head, and pulled her in for a kiss.
Leah almost fell into his arms.
After a long time, Morrison finally left her lips. Leah burst out in giggles and leaned on his shoulder.
He let her do that while he looked straight ahead. “What is this supposed to mean? One minute you said you were missing some
other man, the next you kissed me...”
Leah chuckled. “Did I say who I was missing? It could be my dad.”
Morrison had nothing to say.
Leah looked down, pressed her lips together, and said, “I think... I have feelings for you.”
Morrison was surprised as he scanned her face.
She carefully continued. “If you mind the age gap, I‘
“Who do you think I am?” Morrison leaned in closer to her. “If I cared that you’re older than me, I would have jumped out of the
building after what you did a few seconds ago.”
Leah looked up and was still surprised.
He stood up. “Alright, It’s late. You should rest. Think about it after you wake up tomorrow and call me.” He paused for a few
seconds before looking down at her. “I’m giving you the entire night to think about
this.”
After that, he cleared up the food packaging on the table. As he was about to leave, Leah called out to him. “I’m giving you the
entire night to think if you want to be my boyfriend too.”
Morrison licked the corner of his lips and chuckled. “You’re going to get in trouble tomorrow.”
Leah stood on the balcony and watched the car drive away. She watched it move further and further away, and her heart finally
calmed. It felt odd. She hadn’t been rejected, so did this mean that they were both into each other?
