The Unwanted Luna

Their Mate, My Saviors Chapter 85

-POV

Richard-

Don't these people have a curfew or something?! I've been sitting in the dirt with one of my best suits on for hours and I'm livid! I haven't even heard neither head nor tail of my perfect toy since I left that weird ceremony thing. I want her. I need her! I got to my feet and started to explore. Donna won't know. I'll be subtle, of course. I can't have those giant brutes finding me.

"Poor Ayame." Mmmm... my pet's name. This woman knows my pet. I slipped behind the refreshments table and saw a girl much taller than the one I needed standing next to me, a man that looked like he ate small buffalos for lunch. Are all of them that big? "She'll be fine. She's with Edon. Her favorite." The man said with a chuckle, getting a proper slap from the woman.

"You are

man whore." She giggled lightly and I was shocked that a woman would ever raise their hands to a man! He needs to train her properly. How dare she?!

"I'm your man whore." He growled lowly. Yeah...growled. Hmm...whatever, she's not my problem. Also, now I know why...and how Ayame is being used here. I'm sure these men are hornier than me. What a whore.

I chuckled internally and they stiffened before snapping their heads my way. I ducked behind the table further, just in time. Holding my breath, I saw their feet shift before walking off. I sighed in relief and turned to see this massive house I hadn't noticed before. Who are these people?

I scoffed internally. Oden Industries. There is no way these men are staying in the light with this kind of money. After I get my toy back, I'll find out exactly what that is and I'll crush them soon enough. I ran over to the house - if you want to call a five-story tall apartment-looking building a house - and tried for the door. It was open so...I walked in. I was aware of my surroundings and the few people I did see didn't seem like they cared much about me being here. Some looked at me weird, but in this situation, I am sure I'm the only normal one around. I made my decision. I cannot leave without her. I will not make the same mistake again. If she tries to fight me..... Fine. I'll kill her instead. "I'm sorry." I stiffened when I made it past a large double door at the far end of the house.

"Mmmmm...my toy is here." I mumbled darkly and reached for the handle. After this stupidly long game of cat and mouse, she is finally right in front of me again. I can reclaim what is mine.

-POV Ayame-

I played with the hem of Edon's shirt while my body tried to register what was going on. I don't like being rude to others and I felt really bad about what happened but, it had to happen. I'm just glad that Charlie isn't permanently scarred from this. "And we get a new friend in the process." My wolf cooed. "Another girl to add to our side of the ranked members...as Emily would call it." She added.

I nodded and Edon stopped rubbing my arm for a second, sighed, then continued the motion. "Your wolf chatting with you again?" He asked.

I nodded. "Yes." That's all I said.

He hummed and kissed my head. "Are you feeling any better?" He asked.

I thought for a moment, but even though he was cuddling me, I needed more. Today was exhausting and I was about to snap. I knew this Luna ceremony was going to come with all of its problems, including dealing with Malerie, Adolpha and...probably Richard soon, but I thought I would be able to take a break, but I didn't even have time to show off my dress before those girls showed up. It was only a matter of time before Richard did the same. "I...I want Conri and Vil." I whispered.

He stiffened and I gripped hold of his shirt. "I want you too." I added, and he relaxed immediately.

A chuckle fell from his lips after a moment of silence. "For a second there, I thought you were finally tired of me, princess."

I tilted my head and looked at him with a furrowed brow. "No way." I confirmed with complete confidence, then I hung my head, not being able to say the rest. It's still kind of awkward knowing I have three mates. It's still a learning curve for me. He tilted my chin up to look up at him and I could tell he wanted me to continue. "Sorry, I just feel safer with the three of you instead of just one."

"Even if I'm the strongest?" He asked mockingly and that made me giggle.

That simple sound made his features relax immediately. "Yes, even though you are the strongest."

"Well, that hurts!" Vil said and I spun around on Edon's lap, seeing the two of them enter from the back patio.

Conri cut a glare his way and Vil rolled his eyes. "Don't mind him and his ego. We heard you wanted to see us, little one?"

I nodded and looked up at him before reaching out to one of my men. He knew immediately what I wanted, and he had me in his arms in seconds. "I'm Sorry." I whimpered and he chuckled before the door burst open.

Oh Goddess...no...no...Richard. I'm not ready.......I can't do this right now.

Conri immediately slipped my body behind his as my feet touched the floor. Edon and Vil were at his side in seconds. No...no...horrible timing! Even with my wolf's help again............ I looked down at my shaking hands and the cold sweat came much faster this time. Then, my phone grazed my leg while it rested in my pocket and I had a lightbulb immediately. He will not get away. Not again. I bit my lip and slipped my phone out discreetly and started to record his voice. My hands were still shaking and I don't need the triplets shifting on video - if it comes to that so this was the best option while I tried my best to control my breathing. "I promise you this won't be like last time. Your dumbass just walked into the lion's den." Vil growled.

"That's right, Ayame. Just focus on them. Their voices, their scents. You can do this." My wolf cooed. I'm trying to but the awful stench of Richard's cologne is making my eyes water.

Richard rolled his eyes. "Do you think I was stupid enough to come alone? I know some people very high up in your company boys, and I promise you, I will win." He said cockily, and I could see his maniacal grin behind Conri's torso. Who does he know that's higher than the triplets?! "I'm bringing her back where she belongs and now that she's a bit damaged, I'm sure to miss the bigger prices. However, I'm sure she would fetch a good enough price to fix the stock crash your idiocy caused my father and I!" "Really, and how did we ruin your business because you touched something that doesn't belong to you!" Vil bellowed back.

Richard hesitated and rubbed his hands through his hair. "She's mine! You took her from me first! I have a contract!"

I shivered as my body got colder, remembering the day I almost froze to death running from this maniac. Edon started laughing but there was no joy in his eyes. It was terrifying. I held on to Conri's shirt tighter while my other hand gripped hold of my phone. I focused on the seconds ticking by and that made it easier to stay in this room while my heart ricocheted out of my chest. He wants to sell me?!

If I ran, Richard would try to grab me. If I stood up for myself, I don't know what he would do. I have to stay put. "Remember, you're a werewolf now. He can't do anything to you." My wolf purred but I still stayed frozen, forcing myself through another ear-ringing panic attack behind Conri's solid frame.

I guess Adolpha was right. Trauma never dies. Edon's laughter stopped harshly, and he stepped towards Richard. "Are you telling me that we went to your house and took Ayame from you against her will?"

Richard grit his teeth. "No! That stupid bitch ran away from her security that I paid for to keep her safe, and she needs to get back home, now. She's suffered enough trauma living out here with you animals." My breath hitched. If only he knew.

Wait...if only he knew. I stood upright about to run out the back door, finally realizing I can finally outrun him and freak out in peace. Before I could shift, the office door burst open. "Oh, hell no!" My dad shouted and my heart swelled. I may be around actual wolves, bears, Lycans.... Ha! Even fairies and witches, but the main thing here is they will all protect me when I can't protect myself. I'm...I'm safe here.

"Who the hell are you?" Richard said, turning around to face my dad, Papa Oden, Uncle Rollo, Kyle, Vince, and the silver-haired Fae I saw during my Luna ceremony. To say they looked pissed would be an understatement.

"I'm going to rip you in two!" My father snapped. And Conri smirked, folding his arms.

"Well, I guess our work here is done." Conri confirmed with that chilling voice he uses sometimes.

"I'm not! I'm not here to talk to some nobodies! I will take her from you. You cannot have her! She's worth more to me sold at this point, but either way, I'm not one to leave money on the table. I'm the one that gets to choose her life!" Richard scoffed and the growls coming through the room raddled the whole pack house and the party outside went silent, but the voices poured into the rank members' link while I stood, frozen behind my mates.

"Is everything okay?"

"Has anyone seen the Luna?"

"Are there intruders?"

"Someone, find the Alphas!"

I risked a glance at the men behind Richard. Rollo and the silver-haired man were looking at each other as smiles grew over their faces. I'm not sure if it was scarier than the alphas when they get angry, but I don't think there is anything good that a Fae could possibly be thinking when their eyes darken and their smiles grow.

"Alphas, is everything okay?" Charlie called through the link. "I just left the Eastern border. I can turn around."

"Keep on your course, Charlie. Trust me, we can handle this." Edon called back.

I sighed in relief. I want him to enjoy himself now. He has already sacrificed enough this week. Edon's right...we...we can handle this. "Ugh! I've had enough of this!" Richard shouted and pulled out a gun?! "Step away from the girl or I'll start shooting. I promise you, my aim is much better than you think."

I looked up at them and they didn't even flinch. "Please get out of the way. You three will not get hurt because of me. Please!" I shouted, finally finding my voice again.

"No!" The three of them shouted back and it made my ears ring. This was nonnegotiable.

"That's it!" My dad shouted before tackling Richard to the floor. To be honest, it was stupid of Richard to only focus on us. Then, I heard the most sickening sound I ever thought possible. The gun...it went off.
