The Unwanted Luna

Their Mate, My Saviors Chapter 33

-POV Ayame-

"Everyone, please stay seated while the waiters bring you your dinner." The MC called. "That's him...." Vil growled under his breath. It was not a question.

"No freaking way. What are the odds?" Kyle said, but his laugh didn't meet his eyes.

"So does that mean we rip out his spine in front of everyone, or do we have the decency to drag him back to the pack house and torture him in the auditorium?" Vince said nonchalantly. That shot me out of my train of thought.

I looked away and sunk into my chair while Edon rested his arm over my shoulders. "Shhh...you will not be allowed out of our sight. You will be accompanied by someone at this table at all times. Do you hear me princess?" He warned protectively.

I whimpered and he growled. "Words."

"Y-yes." I whispered.

"He will not touch you." Vil added. "Y-yes."

"You are ours, little one." I blushed when I heard Conri conclude their phrases of protection and it made me feel much better. Edon's arm stayed behind my chair and Vil's hand petted my leg discretely while - with the darkening expression on Connery's face - Conri was filling his father in on the situation.

"Y-yes."

"Tell us if you want to leave. I have no problem leaving. This partnership is not worth the fear in your eyes." Conri added after he finished the mindlink with his now seething father.

I shook my head. "It's fine."

That's when I heard a scoff from across the table. "All of this because a childish human got scared. Please get over yourself." Luna Donna. She isn't my cup of tea, but she is their mother. I have to give her the benefit of the doubt.

"Mother. I swear to the Goddess I am not past putting you in your place. Shut. Up." Vil said calmly. Almost like when Conri does it, but the venom behind his words hit even harder than his.

"D-don't fight.... It's okay. I'll be fine. I have to go to the restroom though." I said.

"One of us will take you." The men said, including the triplet's dad, at the same time.

I chuckled. "You can't come to the ladies' room with me. Please...eat."

"I can." Emily growled. "I dare him to come near you." She warned.

I smiled at my bestie and nodded. Before we got out of our seats, Kyle reached out for Emily's hand. "You even smell him, you call us. Understood?" He asked.

"Of course." Emily confirmed and Kyle decided that was good enough and let her go.

"This isn't part of our agreement." Conri grumbled.

"She is technically one of you, right? Compared to her, he's...he's not that strong." I said again, trying to downplay the situation. He may look slim, but to a human, he can hold his own. I don't know where my confidence is coming from but I am begging it not to fail me. "Fine. You have five minutes and we will be counting." Vil said.

"Okay." I added with a smile and kissed his cheek. I may not be able to leave this building, but I need to get some air.

I walked off towards the bathroom with Emily on my heels and the burn of his eyes on my back. It gave me chills. "Ugh! I wish you had already shifted! Then you could kick his ass!" Emily shouted once the bathroom door closed behind us. Thankfully, no one else was in here, but I was too busy gasping, trying to catch my breath to worry about an audience. I didn't care that she was shouting every curse word under the sun. I cared that the man that beat me to an inch of death on multiple occasions was sitting at the head table enjoying his marriage while I desperately cling to life in the bathroom. "Stupid, scrawny, piece of shit!" Emily shouted again.

I gasped and tried my best to get ahold of myself. I just...couldn't. I'm still trying to figure out how I made it out of the ballroom so calmly. Finally, when the world stopped spinning, I slowly rose to my feet and Emily stood between me and the door. "I cannot believe that guy. I'm surprised we were the only table that noticed that creepy look he was giving you. He was completely unashamed. Disgusting! I mean his wife was literally sitting right next to him! Oh goddess...I hope she's okay. What if he hits her too?!"

She kept going on and on as the door slowly opened. I felt my breath hitch in the back of my throat as he slammed a serving tray over the side of Emily's head. "Richard!" I shouted and he smiled.

"Oh, how I missed that delicious noise!" He cackled right back.

I backed up and fell over my own two feet. "Ri...Richard, please. I'm ha-happy. You are with your wife. Go back to her. Please. Enjoy your beautiful wedding day." I begged as my voice cracked with every word.

"No, she isn't as fun as you. I spent too long grooming you to perfection. You are my pet! I decide when I get rid of you! That is not your choice!" He bellowed and the echo bounced off the tiled room, making my whole body shudder. "Maybe I'll just sell you instead. Yeah...since you don't want me anymore and you are my property, I'll sell you to the highest bidder!" He shouted, yanking me off of the floor and throwing me out of the bathroom door. I slammed into a waiter and Richard growled at them. "Not a word." He warned. The man nodded, scurrying off to the kitchens to replace the discarded appetizers. Richard gripped my arm and dragged me down the hall while I desperately tried to keep my balance in these heels. "Scream and I will make sure your little friend never wakes up again." He warned as he gripped hold of his phone now pressed to his ear.

"Yes...yes sir." I submitted while he shouted at someone on the other line.

Emily may be a wolf, but I didn't want to find out if he was telling the truth. I felt the bruises form on my arm from the death grip, and ribs from the fall as he dragged me out of the venue and toward a shiny black car. "Sir?" His driver came out of the front seat and looked between the two of us.

"Take her back to my hotel and make sure she doesn't leave." Richard growled before lurching open the door and throwing me in the back of the car.

I gasped at the impact my head had with the other door's arm rest and immediately saw spots. "Y-yes sir." The driver said.

"Bitch, you are going to wish you had never been born." Richard growled before slamming the door on my ankle and thrusting me into unconsciousness. -POV Conri-

I felt the agitation around the table when the five minutes were up. We all saw Richard leave, but right at the same time, Benjamin came out of nowhere with his daughter and -. "Alright that's enough." Vil finally said, snapping the conversation short. "We have shit to do." Vil said, getting up from the table. At this point, Richard was back at his table and it seemed as if nothing had happened.

Maybe we were just overthinking this. I don't think he would be dumb enough to take her at his own wedding. "Help...." The guys and I shot up from the table after we heard that. It was Emily. She sounded groggy.

Edon and I ran out of the room after Vil and Kyle. When Kyle finally found Emily's scent, we were met with her body lying on the bathroom floor while she held her head. "He took her." She whimpered. "He what?!" Edon shouted, raddling the entire venue. I stand corrected.

Seeing red would be putting it lightly. He bee-lined it back to the dining area and burst through the doors. Vil and I were right behind him. I don't care about making a scene anymore. Oden Industries is untouchable. You touch what is ours, we destroy you. "Where is my girlfriend?!" Edon shouted and the whole room came to a complete stand still. Emily and Kyle walked in behind us and she was still holding her head.

My father looked at the scene and his eyes darkened. "What is going on here Benjamin?" He growled lowly and the father of the bride looked mortified.

The bride glanced at Richard and bit her lip. I don't think she was out of the woods either. Her hands were shaking. I have a feeling he put his hands on her too. "You!" Edon bellowed before striding across the hall, bulldozing straight through the front table, shattering all the plates, silverware, glasses, and, of course, the table, while he lurched Richard up by the neck. "Where is she?" He growled.

"I don't know what you are talking about." Richard gasped, trying his best to get Edon's hand off of his neck.

"Where?!" Edon roared and I knew there was no way that slimy rodent would get away with this. Edon was not letting go. At this point, there was no telling what the onlookers were thinking but their paled faced spoke volumes.

"What did you do Richard?" I saw Mr.Kingsley stand from his table and I walked over to him calmly.

"Do you know where your son is staying at the moment?" I asked, trying my best to suppress my Lycan while I allowed Edon to go on a rampage. We had to fit in with the humans. All they know is Edon is her boyfriend. The end. That's all they need to know.

"What would that solve? Why is your brother attacking my son?!" Oh Goddess. He's going to play the victim card. They are both stupid.

I let my eyes darken and he visibly flinched. "I will not ask again, and neither will he." I said, pointing back towards my brother.

"O-okay. He is staying at the Bonne Nuit, Amor in the heart of the city." Mr.Kingsley gasped.

"Address." Vil added through his teeth.

Kingsley glanced at him, and I cleared my throat. "R-right." He hastily pulled a pin from his suit jacket and wrote down words and numbers matching a hotel I think I knew from the last time I stayed in Paris. He handed me the napkin as his hands shook. "Please, let my son go." He said worriedly. Grovelling...better.

I nodded. "Edon! Let's go!" I called. He dropped Richard off the back of the riser the main table had been placed on and I could hear a sickening crack before Richard's childish screams echoed through the room.

"If she even has a red mark on her skin, that broken ankle will be the least of your problems!" Edon shouted.

He hopped off of the riser and stalked past our table. "Boys!" My mother called and Edon and I froze while Vil had already left.

"I'll get the car, you deal with mother." Vil called.

"No, I'll deal with her." Our father growled through the main link and we smiled before turning on our heels and leaving.

"Please...I'm so sorry...find Ayame." Emily whispered as Edon and I passed her.

"Don't worry, she...she will be fine." Edon said. I think he was convincing himself more than her. I could tell. It was written all over his face.

We jogged out and Vil pulled up in our rented SUV. We threw the doors open, swiftly hopping in the available seats. He sped off and I started inputting the address. He changed courses when needed. "Alphas. I got the room number. It's room 786, sirs." Vince called. "Good, clean up Edon's mess, we got her." I answered back. I think I was the only one who was able to. Edon was rocking back and forth on the seat behind us and Vilkas was holding on to the steering wheel so hard I thought he would snap it in two.

"Please be okay, Ayame." I whispered.

Please.
