Chapter 225
After smoking two sticks of cigarettes, Hendrix finally calmed down. Then, he made a call.
Julio answered the call very quickly. "Hello, Mr. Freeman?"
Hendrix tossed the lighter onto the center console and said "I've thought about the collaboration, sincerity, you'll have to show me."

Back at Galaxy Grove, by the time Noelle finished showering, Dylan was still working in the living room.
He had his Bluetooth earphones on while typing on his keyboard.
Noelle called out to him.
"Give me a second," he said to someone on the line and looked at Noelle.
"Are you not going back tonight?" she asked.
"Yeah. There's still some issue in the house. I'm going on a business trip next week, so can I stay here for a few days?" he asked.
Alright. Just use anything in the guest room. Make yourself comfortable."
With that said, Noelle turned around, but Dylan stopped her. "I have prepared some cough syrup for you in the kitchen. Take some."
Noelle wanted to tell him that she was almost recovered, but she saw Dylan had already refocused on his work. In the end, she didn't say anything and just went to the kitchen...
The cough syrup did wonders because Noelle's throat felt much better after taking it.
Just when she was about to wash the cup, Dylan walked over from the living room.
"Did anything happen to you in this period of time?" he asked as he leaned on the kitchen door.
Noelle asked back, "What can happen to me?"
"Alright. My grandpa's birthday is next month. Follow me back?"
"Sure."
"I mean back to Coppersville. Are you okay with that?"
Noelle chuckled. "Why not? Can't I go back to that place?"
"Not like that, but isn't your ex-husband there? I was just worried you might not want to see him" "Your grandpa's birthday party has nothing to do with him, right?" Noelle placed the washed cup down and turned to him. "Also, I didn't do anything wrong, so why should I be afraid of seeing him?" Besides, Hendrix wasn't in Coppersville now.
But Noelle didn't say the last part to Dylan because... it wasn't necessary.
"That's great. I was worried you might feel uncomfortable, so I have not said anything to Grandpa yet." Noelle walked past him and said, "Don't worry. Since I agreed back then, I'll cooperate and play the part well. But as for anything else... Mr. Pritchett, I'd advise you not to cross the line."

After finishing her words, Noelle even smiled at him. Her lips curled upward, bu warmth.

Once she'd said her piece, she turned and walked away, heading straight to her room and shutting the door behind her without hesitation.
Dylan stood there for a moment, looking at her firmly closel door. Then, he returned to the living room and turned off the lights.
He initially intended to head back to his own room, but as the lights went out, a thought struck him. He stopped in his steps, then walked out onto the balcony.

The cigarette in Dylan's hand remained unlit as he noticed a car slowly driving past in the distance. Although Dylan hadn't been to this area often, he could immediately tell that whoever was in that car didn't belong to this neighborhood.
Also, he had a strange feeling. It was as if the person inside the car was staring right at him.
Dylan's brow arched slightly, and the motion of lighting his cigarette came to a gradual halt. Without hesitation, he turned around and drew the curtains closed.
